Abstract

Pilgrimage in ritual practice is not only valuable but also political, economic, and pedagogical. That's because the Hajj is itself a grand conference attended by millions of people from various parts of the world with a background in economics, politics, social and cultural diversity. This grand congress often used for political interests by Muslim rulers so that this opportunity is most practical political forum to influence, shape and spread of certain patterns of thought to various other parts of the Muslim world. In the 18th century, every year thousands of pilgrims go to Mecca and came home with orthodox Islam which gradually able to shift mistisismedan syncretism previously more prominent in the history of Islamic thought in Indonesia as seen Kalisalak Rifa'i Ahmad (1786-1875). They were also instrumental in mobilizing the masses in the resistance against the invaders.DOI: 10.15408/sdi.v3i1.816

Abstract

Kasus kekerasan pada anak menjadi sebuah hal yang tidak bisa dianggap remeh. Salah satu bentuk kekerasan yang kerap terjadi pada anak, adalah perundungan, atau biasa dikenal dengan istilah bullying. Sikap perundungan tidak serta merta terjadi begitu saja pada diri anak. Sebagaimana tindak kejahatan lainnya, ada faktor penyebab yang membuat seorang anak melakukan tindakan perundungan. Salah satunya adalah kesalahan penerapan pola asuh pada anak. Sebagaimana diungkapkan oleh Imam Ghazali, bahwa pola asuh orangtua berhubungan besar dengan tingkah laku anak saat ia besar. Perilaku buruk bisa dijaga dari seorang anak dengan pengarahan moral yang baik (mulai ia masih kecil). Makalah ini mencoba menawarkan pola asuh holistik dalam perspektif Al-Qur’an sebagai alternatif solusi pencegahan perilaku perundungan pada anak, dengan pendekatan hubungan anak dengan iman dan islam serta peringatan dan perhatian terhadap anak, yang didasarkan dengan ayat-ayat Al Qur’an yang menjelaskan tentang pola asuh orangtua terhadap anak.

Abstract

The integration of mobile apps into Islamic education has the potential to enhance accessibility and improve learning outcomes. This study investigates the use of mobile apps for Islamic learning, focusing on their accessibility and impact on students' educational achievements. A mixed-methods approach was employed, involving surveys and interviews with students and educators from Islamic institutions. Data were analysed using statistical tests to assess the level of accessibility and the effectiveness of mobile apps in facilitating learning. The results indicated that a significant proportion of students found these apps easy to use, which correlated with improved learning outcomes, such as better memorization of Qur'anic verses and understanding of Hadith. However, some challenges, including limited access to quality content and digital literacy, were identified. The study concludes that while mobile apps are valuable tools for Islamic education, there is a need for ongoing enhancements to optimize their use. Recommendations are provided for app developers and educators to address these challenges and further integrate technology into Islamic learning.

Abstract

The intersection of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Agricultural Extension holds immense potential for enhancing sustainable development in the agricultural sector. This paper explores the transformative role of AI in agricultural extension services and its implications for sustainable development. Through a comprehensive literature review, data analysis, and case studies, we assess the current state of AI applications in agriculture and highlight the gaps and challenges in this field. Our study reveals that AI technologies offer innovative solutions for knowledge dissemination, decision support, and resource management in agriculture, contributing to increased yields, reduced environmental impact, and improved livelihoods for farmers. However, challenges related to data quality, accessibility, and ethical considerations need to be addressed. The paper also discusses the policy implications of integrating AI into agricultural extension programs and suggests future research directions. In conclusion, this research underscores the critical role of AI in agricultural extension for sustainable development, emphasizing its potential to revolutionize the agricultural landscape.
