Abstract

Ada fenomena yang sangat menyedihkan terjadi dikalangan siswa SD/MI bahwa nilai rata-rata yang diperoleh paling rendah dibandingkan dengan nilai mata pelajaran lain. Penyebabnya antara lain: (1) aktivitas pembelajaran masih didominasi guru, siswa banyak mencatat; (2) metode pembelajaran yang digunakan guru tidak variatif, cenderung ceramah (ekspositori); (3) penggunaan media pembelajaran kurang optimal; (4) hasil belajar siswa kurang mengembirakan.

Abstract

This study discusses the application of montage media to improve the speaking skills of fifth grade students at SD Negeri 07/III Sungai Abu, Kerinci Regency. The cycle process which includes four stages, namely planning, implementation, observation and reflection becomes part of the implementation of this research. Based on observation, interview and documentation techniques, the data obtained is then processed through data reduction, data display, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study found that the application of montage media to improve students' speaking skills was carried out in the following steps: (1) the teacher used a storytelling strategy (2) the teacher prepared tools and drawing materials from various references according to the sub-theme of learning material in the form of newspapers, magazines, Or pictures from the internet. (3) the teacher divides students classically from groups consisting of 4-5 students per group, in pairs then individually. (4) the teacher gives rewards such as a shining star symbol. Whereas the results of the learning process on speaking skills are shown from the results in each cycle that has been carried out, the achievement is with an average pre-action of 44.42%, the first cycle has increased to an average of 54.80% while the second cycle has increased significantly to 80.57%.

Abstract

Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memperkuat peran Badan Musyawarah Adat (BANMUS) dalam menyelesaikan konflik sosial silang sengkito di tengah kehidupan masyarakat Kota Jambi. Silang sengkito merupakan bentuk konflik adat yang berpotensi mengganggu keharmonisan sosial apabila tidak diselesaikan melalui mekanisme kearifan lokal. Metode pelaksanaan pengabdian meliputi sosialisasi nilai-nilai adat Melayu Jambi, pendampingan kelembagaan BMA, diskusi kelompok terarah (FGD), serta simulasi penyelesaian sengketa berbasis musyawarah adat. Kegiatan ini melibatkan pengurus BANMUS, tokoh adat, tokoh masyarakat, dan aparat kelurahan. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman masyarakat terhadap fungsi dan kewenangan BANMUS, meningkatnya kapasitas BANMUS  dalam menerapkan prosedur penyelesaian silang sengkito secara adil dan bermartabat, serta tumbuhnya kepercayaan masyarakat terhadap mekanisme penyelesaian konflik adat. Program ini berkontribusi dalam menjaga ketertiban sosial, memperkuat identitas budaya lokal, dan mendukung terciptanya kehidupan masyarakat Kota Jambi yang harmonis dan berkeadilan berbasis nilai-nilai adat.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of the O2SN extracurricular sports program in fostering students' interests and talents from an early age at SDN 073/IX Simpang Sungai Duren, as well as identifying supporting factors, inhibiting factors, and teacher innovations in its implementation. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive research type. The research subjects include sports teachers, principals, and students who participate in extracurricular sports activities. Data collection techniques are carried out through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. Data analysis is carried out through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study indicate that the O2SN extracurricular sports program is implemented in a planned manner through the preparation of training schedules, selection of sports branches according to student interests, and tiered coaching from lower to higher classes. The implementation of the program is able to increase students' interests, talents, discipline, self-confidence, teamwork, and basic sports technical abilities. The main supporting factors include school support, the active role of coaching teachers, and student enthusiasm, while the inhibiting factors are limited sports facilities and infrastructure. The novelty of this research lies in the disclosure of teachers' strategies and innovations in optimizing the development of extracurricular sports O2SN through the use of limited facilities and tiered development to foster students' interests and talents from an early age.
