Abstract

AbstractThe development of globalization in various sectors such as the economy, education, tourism and technology so fast up to now and will continue to grow, it must be supported by the rapid and safe transportation for the community. Happens a lot of road damage caused by compaction at a temperature that does not fit. This study was conducted to determine the effect of temperature on the value of the parameter marshall compaction. This recent research conducted in the Highway Laboratory, Civil Engineering, Lampung University. The study began by testing the quality of the material is asphalt and aggregate. After doing research the quality of asphalt followed by the manufacture of test specimens for value Optimum Asphalt Content. KAO value for the lower limit is 6.8% and for middle limit is 5.7%, after the obtained value KAO followed by the manufacture of the specimen at a solidification temperature variations. Variations in temperature used is 100oC, 115oC, 130oC, 145oC and 160oC. Based on these results it can be concluded that the solidification temperature greatly affects the value of the parameter marshall marshall The value parameter will affect the quality of the road, so the quality of the roads can be said to be safe and comfortable or not.Keywords: Temperature Effect, Compaction, KAO, Marshall Parameter  AbstrakPerkembangan era globalisasi di berbagai sektor , misalnya sektor ekonomi, pendidikan, pariwisata dan teknologi yang begitu pesat hingga sekarang dan akan terus berkembang, hal ini mesti didukung oleh transportasi yang cepat dan aman bagi masyarakat. Terjadi banyak kerusakan jalan yang disebabkan oleh pemadatan pada suhu yang tidak sesuai. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui pengaruh suhu pemadatan terhadap nilai parameter marshall ..Penelian ini dilakukan di laboratorium jalan raya teknik sipil universitas lampung. Penelitian dimulai dengan pengujian kualitas bahan yaitu aspal dan agregat. Setelah dilakukan penelitian kualitas aspal dilanjutkan dengan pembuatan benda uji untuk mencari nilai Kadar Aspal Optimum. Nilai KAO untuk batas bawah adalah 6,8% dan untuk batas tengah adalah 5,7%, setelah didapat nilai KAO dilanjutkan dengan pembuatan benda uji dengan variasi suhu pemadatan. Variasi suhu yang digunakan adalah 100oC ,115oC,130oC,145oC,dan 160oC. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa suhu pemadatan sangat mempengaruhi nilai parameter marshall .nilai parameter marshall akan berpengaruh terhadap kualitas jalan ,sehingga kualitas jalan dapat dikatakan aman dan nyaman atau tidak. Kata kunci : pengaruh suhu, pemadatan, KAO, parameter marshall

Abstract

This study was conducted to determine the effect of variations in the compaction of thecharacteristics of the asphalt layer using the Marshall method which refers to the buildingspecifications of bina marga 2010. In the Marshall plan establishes parameters for the number ofcompaction of heavy traffic conditions compaction test specimen as 2x75 compaction with thecavity boundary mixture of 3,5- 5.5%. While on the asphalt concrete layer is studied AsphaltConcrete Wearing Coarse (AC-WC) subtle gradations lower limit.After the results of the testing materials testing both asphalt and aggregate meets the standardsand then do the manufacture asphalt mixture specimen. From the analysis of the value obtainedafter calculating the optimum asphalt content lower limit of 6,8%. Then used in mixing asphaltcontent for the variation of the collision is 2x50, 2x55, 2x60, 2x65, 2x70, 2x75, 2x80, and 2x85.After it was examined Marshall.From the test results on compaction Marshall 2x50, 2x55, 2x60, 2x65, and 2x70. Does not meetthe Marshall parameter value because Marshall Quotient (MQ) does not enter the specifications.While the value of voids In The Mix (VIM) in the collision 2x50, 2x55, 2x60, 2x65, and 2x70 arealso not included in the specification. Abstract

Planning a mode of transport could be done in order to know the extent of the effectiveness of the movement of people and goods or use the train through the route of Tanjung Karang - Radin Inten II Airport. In addition, the plan is also aims to reduce the obstacles that often complained by users of transport from Tanjung karang - Radin Inten II Airport which using moda transportation right now. In this study the method used is statistics descriptive, to find utility board based on what’s the way of work or business, a social visit, school, and leisure. Of all respondents filled out the questionnaire, there are 258 (71,67%) of respondents from Bandar Lampung and 102 (28,33%) of respondents came from out Bandar Lampung. It showed that the demand of transport air that comes from Bandar Lampung is higher compared to the number of out Bandar Lampung. The survey also said as many as 86,12% of respondents from Bandar Lampung interest to switch to moda transportation. Keyword: Train, airport train, train schedule, gapeka.

Abstract

Pavement is widely used in Indonesia is a mixture of laston, in its implementation  temperature is very influential on the overlay process, temperature also affects the density process. The further the distance of AMP (Asphalt Mixing Plant) to the overlay location, the greater the decrease in temperature, and the decrease in density results. So it is necessary to do a study about effect of spread distance to mixed temperature change. The mixture used is Asphalt Concrete-Wearing Course from Asphalt Mixing Plant produced by PT Manggung Polah Raya for location on Sultan Agung Street, Bandar Lampung, Lampung and PT. Rindang Tiga Satu Pratama for the location of Teuku Cik Ditiro Street, Bandar Lampung, Lampung. From the analysis results of 2 AMP (Asphalt Mixing Plant), PT. Manggung Polah Raya and PT. Rindang Tiga Satu Pratama using logarithmic regression analysis, obtained that the distance and the Δtemperature are 0,9832 and 0,7366. The result of Δtemperature and Δdensity are 0,0568 and 0,0688 and the result of distance logarithmic regression analysis and Δdensity are 0,0326 dan 0,005. The result of the combined logarithmic regression analysis of PT. Manggung Polah Raya and PT. Rindang Tiga Satu Pratama between distance and Δtemperature is 0,7829 and 0,0005 for Δtemperature and Δdensity. Factor that influence the decrease of the temperature is the haulage process of the transport mixture. If the temperature decrease, then the result of the density are not maximal.  Keyword: Mixture Temperature Change, Distance, Density.

Abstract

Roads are the transport infrastructures which play an important role in supporting the economicgrowth of a region. Therefore it is necessary to do maintenance efforts so that the roads canfunction optimally.One of them is by adding overlay. The selection of methods become a factorthat must be considered before doing flexible pavement overlay design. It is because of improperplanning can cause damaged or uneconomical construction of roads. Along with the technologicaladvances, methods of overlay flexible pavement design based on deflection also undergone manymodifications such as“Pedoman Perencanaan Tebal Lapis Tambah Perkerasan Lentur Pd T-05-2005-B”and “Pedoman Interim Perkerasan Jalan Lentur No.002/P/BM/201”. The purpose of thisresearch was to determine the most optimal and most efficient life cyclecost of overlay design inthe roads performance improvement project of Batas Kota Metro-Gedung Dalam. From theanalysis results show that the design results by using Pd T 05-2005-B were thinner than PedomanInterim No.002/P/BM/2011. It was caused by several factors such as the analysis of traffic,temperature correction factor, and the types of materials used. The indicator value of theinternational roughness index (IRI) is predicated by emperical equations and the design life of 20years, obtained the lowest lifecycle costs are the result of design methods Pd T-05-2005-B. Theresults of the analysis also showed that the cost at the end of the design life methods Pd T-05-2005-B less than Pedoman Interim No.002 /P/BM / 2011.Keywords :Road, Overlay, Life Cycle Cost
