Abstract

This study aims to analyze the factors that affect the income of partner broilers in the study area. This research was conducted in Merauke District. The location selection was carried out purposively. The time of the research was conducted from May to November 2020. Sampling in this study used the census method. Respondents in this study were 13 partner broiler breeders. The analysis technique used in this research is multiple linear regression. The results show that the coefficient of determination (R2) obtained is 0.995, indicating that broiler income (Y) can be explained by the independent variable X. Partially or the t test shows that the cost of seeds, feed costs and labor affects income, while partially the cost of medicine - medicine does not affect income.

Abstract

In general, in making pempek using sea fish, in this case, belida fish (Notopterus chitala) is ground and added with sago and other spices. Currently the consumption of pempek in South Sumatra is increasing because this food can be consumed at any time of the morning, afternoon, evening, without knowing the time so it is not difficult to get this food because it is available everywhere (street vendors and restaurants). The increasing consumption of pempek in South Sumatra has resulted in belida fish being very difficult to obtain, the effect of the difficulty of finding and obtaining belida fish has an effect on the selling price of belida fish which is very expensive in the market. There needs to be a variation in the use of pempek as a base ingredient. Therefore, this research was conducted. The method used in this study is by means of experimentation by conducting direct experiments on the use of different basic ingredients to the quality of pempek on texture, color, taste, aroma. The parameters used in this study were the organoleptic level test which gave a value of 1-5 for quality (shape, color, aroma, texture, and taste acceptability) which was carried out by 25 untrained panelists by giving a questionnaire containing the organoleptic test format ( cascade test). The organoleptic test results show that the pempek color that the panelists like is from the snakehead fish pempek, the pempek aroma that the panelists like the most is the aroma of the chicken pempek because it is not fishy, ​​the pempek taste that panlenis likes is chicken pempek, the highest value of acceptance or preference is found in chicken pempek. Abstract

This research is a qualitative research which describes the condition of farmers and ranchers in the research location based on the observed variables. The method used is a survey method, with the sampling technique is Stratified Random Sampling. This location was chosen because it is one of the districts where the majority of the people are farmers and breeders with an integrated system of rice plants and cattle, while the population in this study is the people of the Semangga District who carry out integrated farming of rice and cattle raising. Sources of data in this study are primary data and secondary data. Data collection was carried out using several techniques, namely (a) Observation, namely direct observation in the field (b) Interview, conducted directly to farmers and ranchers with the help of questionnaires and (c) Documentation, namely taking pictures in the field. The data analysis used is descriptive analysis by looking at the average and percentage on each business characteristic. The conclusion of this study is that the average number of cattle kept is 2 heads with a land area of 3 ha, the highest percentage of education level is SD (49%) and the lowest is SI (1%), the average age of the respondents is in the productive age, namely 26-50 years (94%), the highest length of business is 6-10 years (53%) and the average family responsibilities are 1-4 people (94%).

Abstract

This study aims to provide information on the strategy of developing beef cattle business integrated with rice plants. The method used is a survey method with a Stratified Random Sampling sampling technique. The consideration in determining this location is because the majority of the people are farmers and breeders, namely rice farmers and cattle breeders with the research population being all cattle farmers who also carry out rice farming. The data sources used were primary and secondary data which were analyzed using SWOT analysis. The conclusion from the research is that the business developed is in the quadrant 1 category which means Aggressive with a value of (6.5). The strategy is to utilize human resources to assist the marketing process, utilize available land to increase production and maximize business by utilizing facilities and infrastructure.

Abstract

Corona virus prevention is very important to do by using the socialization method. Socialization is providing information about how to prevent the Corona virus. Corona virus prevention can be done by practicing social distancing, implementing clean living and self-isolation to avoid transmission of the virus. Children are an important priority to be educated to have a healthy lifestyle. The service activities carried out aim to educate children on the coast of Binaloka, Samkai Village, to improve security independently in dealing with the Covid-19 pandemic. The high activity and interaction of the children around can already be balanced with the awareness of children in terms of strict self-care against Covid-19, for example washing hands properly and adopting a healthy and clean lifestyle. Through this activity it is hoped that children's potential to be exposed to Covid-19 can be reduced, because children have tried to take preventive measures. Based on the results of the service, there was an increase from pre test to post test, namely knowledge about the dangers of the corona virus from 56% to 80%. Knowledge of the correct use of masks from 70% to 100%, and knowledge of the importance of washing hands from 68% to 85%. Based on the increase in scores from pretest to posttest, it can be concluded that community service activities regarding health outreach and education for children in Samkai Village were successful.

Abstract

The purpose of this service is to increase the entrepreneurial interest of Papua Aboriginal women in Mandala Village. We will also increase the production of banana raw materials that can be processed into products with high economic value. The method of delivery of this service activity is lecture, discussion, and hands-on practice. The outcome achieved was learning opportunities and support to improve entrepreneurial management, as well as entrepreneurial training on how to manufacture processed banana products for Papuan indigenous women in Mandala Village. In addition, increased interest in entrepreneurship among Papuan indigenous women in Mandala Village is expected to reduce unemployment and poverty in the region. This service activity is also expected to have a positive impact on the environment. B. Improve common interests and strengthen local economies. In the long term, this activity aims to be a role model for other communities to start businesses and develop local potential in their respective regions.
