Abstract

The increasing demand for the utilize services computer networks has increased the traffic on the network. In general, the server provides service round the clock without a break, so that problems such as breakdown of communication in the network is lost that must be avoided. This cases need for a bettersystem with high performance and reliable every time. Current server technology development will be fast but the memory access speed is slower than the increase in the consumption of bandwidth. This is one o f the factors causing the bottleneck experienced of server. With the load balancing can be provide abetter solution. The concept used to provide a server has the same service. Then, the load balancing will check the CPU usage on each server. The server will perform selection based on the value of the smallest CPU Usage o f all existing servers. The application load balancing is placed before the user accessing ofserver with the object of distributing requests from the user to any of the servers that have been selected by the load balancer. Load balancing provides many benefits to systems that use it. The first, low cost, existing resources do not need to be replaced or discarded. Second, don't always need high end equipment. Third, easily developed when needed arose and a drastic decline in the quality o f service. Load balancing is also more secure, when a failure occurs on the server, load balancing application will redirect the user to the server is still available.

Abstract

The accuracy of data is the capital for making a very useful information for the company business continuity. The value of data can be very expensive if it can be made into a good information and the right target. Procurement and inventory data is one of the things to note in particular the logistics division on the company. Therefore it needs a system using a particular method that can be support the data management of goods procurement and it can also help the managers take the decision of stock control. Based on that, it can be developed to integrated system between procurement data processing and the amount of purchasing materials a single web-based application that implement a method of stock record such as perpetual inventory method and economic order quantity method as well as the methods used to support the decision in calculating the amount of inventory to be optimal. Using the development of the decision support system, some errors related to the recording of data on procurement and inaccuracies in determining the amount of inventory can be reduced. Then the company can avoid the material losses.

Abstract

The more commercial flights now, will be result more the number of aircraft operated and the competition to become the airline can keep operating even more difficult. Some airline companies can not compete with other companies, has gone out of business. This is one of them caused by the inaccuracy of an airline's decision in the selection of aircraft types. Type of aircraft used for flight routes should be tailored to the needs so that it can provide benefits to the company. The selection of planes is determined based on market analysis with indicators of the number of passengers, aircraft, engineering aspects of the commercial aspects or the operational costs of aircraft and competitor analysis. Aircraft direct operating costs are costs directly related to the operator of the aircraft in flight routes. Direct operating cost is very influential in the selection of aircraft types that will be used. On certain conditions the determination of the decision must be taken quickly, in which one of the conditions is the availability of relevant information. Information is the output system that can be utilized by the parties in need. Decision support system to determine the type of aircraft is a computer application that provides output in the form of aircraft operating cost information that can support managers in making decisions determining the effective fleet at the new flight routes.

Abstract

The increasing number o f passengers Trans Jogja bus stops can result in the existing capacity can not accommodate the number of passengers comfortably. Problems that often arise include delays resulting bus passenger waiting time is longer and there is a buildup of the number of passengers at stops. As a result of these problems, the capacity o f passenger stops can be full so that prospective passengers waiting outside the bus stop. Forecasting is one very important element in the decision. In this study using stationary and trend forecasting the data because the data are not significant changes between time and swell in certain periods and a normal in periods others. Time series methods for forecasting the number o f passengers on the Trans Jogja stop using exponential smoothing calculation and least square. From these calculations the value sought MAD (Mean Absolute Deviation) or least square error is exponential smoothing and forecasting results with small error. Forecasting will be better if it contains fewer possible errors.

Abstract

In Islamic law, the division of inheritance according to the provisions of Islamic rule is an obligation. It is encouraged to immediately  distribute inheritance without delaying. The manual process of dividing inheritance according to islamic law requires a lot of time and expertise, which is not everyone capable of. So there is a need for providing an expert system for dividing inheritance according to Islamic law that can help people to hasten the implementation of Islamic sharia in distributing inheritance. This expert system is a web-based system. Transformation of expertise knowledge in this expert system uses forward chaining method with best first search algorithm. The result of the consultation on this expert systemconsist of the complete profile data of the deceased, the blocked-heirs, the portion for each heir and the portion of the inheritance for each heir.

Abstract

Acne is a skin disease that most often grow in the face and very disruptive to affect the appearance of a person's face. Viola Jones is one method to help detect acne so someone get information about the state of the face and immediately overcome. Viola Jones Method has three main processes integral image is used to determine whether there is a feature haar particular in an image, the method adaboost machine learning is used to select features haar specific that will be used to adjust the threshold value, and a cascade classifier as the classification of the final determining regions the face in the picture. Testing of 30 samples, the results obtained showed that the method is less accurate Viola Jones is used as a method of detection of acne with results average 25 % the percentage of common acne, blackheads 0 % and 45% of cystic acne. The number of samples used to create xml greatly affect the results of detection.

Abstract

Medical treatment using herbal plants rarely utilized by the society, because most of them didn't know the benefit inside herbal plants. therefore needed an application to educate the society about herbal life. Application system was a product of research by a herbal expert using certainty factor. Certainty factor method was a method that to believe on an event based on expert judment. Besides educating society about the benefit of herbal plants, the expert system could help to provide a consultation. Result of expert system consultation with certainty factor was to minimize uncertainty in medical treatment using herbal plants.

Abstract

The absence of rapid examination technique to study transportation model using Modified Distribution often learning process become less efficient and effective. To use Modified Distribution (MODI), the first must to found the first solution of transportation model. To find the first solution of this transportation model using Northwest Corner method then find optimum solution with Modified Distribution (MODI) method. Before that Modified Distribution method had built to application on desktop with [9], but it just to calculate optimum solution to find minimum cost of transportation model on matrix 3X3. On application have some suggestion for developer who want to develop it, like to change user interface to be interesting, expand matrix to m X n (for example 5X5) and add some study case in application to guide user to done case of Operation Research to calculate optimum solution to find minimum cost on transportation model using Modified Distribution (MODI) method in the class. In this essay will be develop an application Modified Distribution (MODI) using Northwest Corner method to calculate  first solution and Modified Distribution (MODI) to calculate optimum solution with matrix 5X5 which implemented on android in operating system minimum API 15: Android 4.0.3 (Ice Cream Sandwich). Application Modified Distribution (MODI) have interesting interface, give easy to access information, and get accurate results, this is established from testing with score average 83,77%.

Abstract

Modified Distribution (MODI) method of the operation research’s in Sekolah Tinggi Teknologi Adisutjipto Informatic Engineering is one of method which optimal solution low cost in the transportation model. MODI is using Northwest Corner method to determine the initial allocation, which will be processed to obtain a more optimal solution. MODI method is aplied to a desktop-based application that aims to help lecturer on presentation material. The results of 2 test on 1 primary user respondent 85,81% for 30 questions, test of 30 secondary user respondent with, Display/Graphical User Interface (GUI) (74,67%), Speed/Conveniences Of Access to information (80,92%), Accuracy Of Information (82,89%), and User Satisfaction (81,90%). Low cost application of Transportation Model with MODI method is very good.

Abstract

Fire extinguishing system in placing reservoirs there are still many officers who do not know the location so that they can implement computerized technology so that firefighters can work to maximize the information technology made by the author well. Mobile-based reservoir mapping system application developed using Geofence method. The main purpose for this application that officers can easily find the location of the reservoir closest to the location of the fire and where officers can also find out the location of the reservoir distance from the fire. The accuracy of testing results with Google maps where the accuracy is very precise to the location of the water source or reservoir. Testing using a smartphone comparison from Android 4.1 Jelly Bean version to Android 7.0 Nougat can run with distance results in the application using google maps, get the same results and where there is a test version of Android V4.4 Kitkat that did not work because RAM does not support this application. Testing in the form of a black box method where this method tests every function contained and the test is functioning and running as smoothly as possible where the system is functioning properly with success rate 100%.
