Abstract

Penerapan teknologi untuk memantau kualitas air secara online adalah sebuah aplikasi yang menawarkan teknologi canggih untuk mengatasi kelemahan atau kekurangan sistem pemantauan secara manual. Implementasi sistem ini di lapangan akan dapat mengurangi kelemahan dalam memantau kualitas air sungai secara manual dalam: 1). waktu sebenarnya. 2). Posisi sebenarnya 3). cepat. 4). Terus menerus selama 24 jam. 5). Bisa mengukur kualitas air sungai secara bersamaan. 6). secara otomatis. 7). Interaktif. Memiliki sistem pemantauan dengan pemantauan kualitas air seperti kondisi ideal sistem pemantauan. Kehadiran sistem ini dapat memberikan banyak manfaat bagi pembangunan, terutama dalam memberikan peringatan dini terhadap kesejahteraan manusia. Kelebihan sistem yang dirancang didasarkan pada dua bagian yang sangat penting: 1). Perancangan sistem pemantauan (perangkat lunak dan perangkat keras) dan 2). Pemantauan kendaraan (hard ware). Makalah ini ditulis secara khusus untuk membahas disain sisi kedua yang mengambang untuk dipantau, yaitu dengan mengaplikasikan float serta cara memasang sistem di sungai. Dengan menerapkan sistem pemantauan di lapangan diharapkan dapat memperhatikan aspek mutlak pemantauan kualitas air secara online sambil memenuhi metodologi yang tepat dalam melakukan pengambilan sampel kualitas air sungai sesuai dengan Organisasi Meteorologi Dunia. kata kunci : WMO, wahana apung, monitoring online, logger, sensor

Abstract

Dalam merancang sebuah sistem pengolahan air siap minum, peranan hasil analisis kualitas air baku memegang peranan penting dalam menentukan sistem pengolahan air siap minum yang akan dibangun atau dirancang. Kualitas air baku yang ada di SMA Zainul Hassan di desa Genggong, kecamatan Pajarakan, Kabipaten Probolinggo Jawa Timur, memiliki kualitas air tawar, dengan “Total Disolved Solid (TDS)“ 300 mg/l, agak keruh dan belum steril, oleh karena itu dirancanglah sebuah sistem pengalahan air siap minum dengan rancangan terdiri dari 3 bagian yaitu 1. Pengolahan Awal, 2. Pengolahan Ultra filtrasi dan 3. Pengolahan Akhir yaitu Reverse Osmosis (RO) Tawar, Sterilisator dan Pengemasan atau distribusi. Dengan rancangan tersebut maka telah dihasilkan alat pengolahan air yang menghasilkan air bersih dan air siap minum untuk didistrubusikan kepada para user/santri dan masyarakat. Sebelum didistribusikan kepada masyarakat umum mka telah terlebih dahulu dilakukan uji hasil produk sistem pengolahan dsi laburatorium kualitas air,  hasilnya adalah uji secara biologi untuk mengetahui kandungan coli dinyatakan steril, sedangkan secara fisik tidak berbau, tak berwarna dan tak berasa, dengan TDS dibawah 100 g/l dan secara kimiawi tidak ditemukan unsur yang melebihi batas air minum sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa air siap minum hasil pengolahan tersebut layak untuk digunakan sebagai air siap minum.Kesimpulannya adalah sistem pengolahan yang dirancang tersebut layak diginakan untuk mengolah air baku Dari sumber yang telah ditetapkan menjadi air siap minum. Kata Kunci : Air Siap Minum, Sistem Treatmen Air Tawar, TDS, Sistem Osmosa Balik Air Tawar

Abstract

Memproduksi air siap minum menjadi bagian penting bagi kehidupan bermasyarakat yaitu sebuah proses untuk menyediakan sarana fasilitas yang ada untuk memenuhi kebutuhan pokok bagi masyarakat. Ini sekaligus menjadi sarana yang penting untuk keberadaan dan fungsinya dalam masyarakat. Untuk menunjang keberhasilan program tersebut, maka sarana yang ada tersebut harus dipelihara dan dimiliki sebagai sarana yang unggul dan sebagai nilai tambah yang dapat diandalkan, berdaya saing, dan tempat belajar, mengajar untuk berkembang. Untuk itu maka filosofi kehadiran sarana itu harus dapat dimengerti, termasuk sistem kinerjanya agar masyarakat dimana sarana itu berada dapat menguasai, memperbaiki sendiri jika terjadi unjuk kinerja alat yang turun sehingga dapat ditingkatkan menjadi lebih baik. Metodologi untuk menguasai keberadaan sarana tersebut dilakukan dengan terlibat langsung melalui  pendidikan dan pelatihan serta ikut berpartisipasi dalam, menginstslasi sistem, agar dapat dicapai transfer of thecnology terhadap sistem kerja alat, sehingga dapat dicapai tujuan yang diinginkan serta mempraktekkannya dalam kegiatan berbisnis. Hasil dari keberadaan sarana yang ada ini menguntungkan dari sisi keuangan dan keuntungan sebagai cara untuk berkembang, tumbuh dan menjadi besar.  Evaluasi dari langkah ini perlu dilakukan untuk mencapai harapan  tersebut. Kata Kunci : Minum, Fasilitas, Penting, Sukses, Transfer Teknologi, aplikasi, air siap minum

Abstract

According to Cook, drainage basin characteristics factor yielding high surface stream are 1. Relief 2. Infiltration 3. Landuse, and 4. Drainage density. These physical parameter is use to determine runoff coefficient of catchment area, with application of Geographical Information System (GIS) application on Ciliwung catcment area above Depok. Steps to analyse of runoff coefficient are scoring of each classification of relief, infiltration, landuse and drainage density, and then all of the four maps which have score are overlay to become a map of unit land. Runoff coefficient hereinafter is calculated and found out that runoff coefficient of Ciliwung catchment area is 0, 58.   Katakunci : GIS, SIG, metode Cook, metode Bridge Branch, runoff coeffisient, catchment area, DAS, Ciliwung, relief, infiltration, landuse, drainage density, informasi, peta tematik.

Abstract

Teknopark Pelalawan area is an area designed as a center for the development of local advantages generated through research. In the region there will be College of Technology Palalawan and various Research and Development Center as to the development of local products, industrial downstream palm oil products, forest products and small and medium scale industries. Means and supporting facilities such as clean water, waste water and drainage systems are currently being incorporated into the master document teknopark region Palalawan plants. Infiltration measurements conducted to support the planning of drainage systems in order to manage rainwater in the area of teknopark Palalawan. This measurement is done in both land area units, namely: dry land units and land units of wet peat. Infiltration measurements done using an instrument called a double ring infiltrometer. To measure the rate of infiltration were analyzed using Kostiokov method. The result is: infiltration in the drylands of 1.5 mm / min on a peaty wetland was 0.4 mm / min. The conclusion that can be drawn is that in order to manage the rainwater would be more efficiently carried out on dry land unit. Keywords: teknopark Pelalawan, infiltration rate, kostiakov, double ring infiltrometer, constant infiltration rate

Abstract

A response in an emergency condition  is the most critical thing in natural disaster. In this situation, every thing is in a panic. Any decision must be taken  tactically, quickly and property to minimize the number victims and severity as the impact of disaster. One of the response in an emergency is to provide facility of drinking water treatment unit which has to be located at the respective disaster area. This unit is designed compacly with high mobility, flexible and easily operated to fullfil the potable water need for the victims. The treatment processes use are filtration, adsorbtion and sterilization. Abstract

Coastal aquifers are an important ground-water resource for urban, fisheries, and agriculture areas. Coastal aquifer system at coast of Tanah Grogot Regency, at East Kalimantan Province, is important to community, but existing aquifers are not productive as ground water resources and therefore to meet community needs of water, a geoelectricity survey need to be conducted to find aquifers and this information will be used for development of water resources planning and method to be used for geoelectricity survey is rock layer resistivity. Abstract

Fast growing development at big cities such as Jakarta usually cause surface hydrology problems, which is indicated by many surface detention and local floods during rainy season. These problems were raised because of the increasing of runoff coefficient of sub catchment areas and limited capacity of existing drainages. Analysis have made on drainage capacity of sub catchment areas connected to peak flow cause by rain on certain recurrence period and result in data to evaluate drainage capacity to solve these water detention and local floods problems. Katakunci : Genangan, Banjir, Drainase, DAS, Database.

Abstract

Rainwater is an abundant source of water, especially during the rainy season. But otherwise if it is not managed properly, it can lead to disasters, such as floods or landslides. Therefore it is very important to harness rainwater by doing the best way, ie by the rain harvesting and then infiltrating the water back into the ground. Many countries have shown good results in the use of rainwater for various purposes. Dominican Republic, Singapore, Japan, China, Thailand and Indonesia are 7 countries which have a lot of implementing rainwater utilization system very well. Rainwater can be used as a source of clean water to meet the drinking water needs. Artificial recharge for rain water lets the water goes to infiltrate back into the soil is a powerful effort to maintain and preserve the ground water potential. Besides, infiltration of rainwater into the soil also can prevent land subsidence. Because of the importance of rainwater management system, it should be included in the educational curriculum both for elementary to upper secondary level. Similarly, the obligation for proper implementation must also be supported by adequate rules or regulations. Keywords : Rainwater management, artificial recharge.

Abstract

Evaluation of chloride (Cl-) content and electric conductivity  (EC) of ground water in aquifer system is one method to identify salt water movement in aquifer system, which occurred as a result of changes in hydraulic equilibrium which cause by temporary variation of natural recharges and pumping of ground water at many layered aquifers.Salt water movement in Jakarta aquifer system is evaluated based on mapping of chloride content at 500 mg/L and EC at 1500 m mhos/cm in many bored well during period of 1990 – 2000. In the beginning chloride content and EC is in value only and with the addition of attribute data, namely coordinate, it could be used as input data. By using software namely SURF, the above input data is simulate to have a contour map of chloride and EC. Overlapping of the contour map to Jakarta base map will result in thematic map of chloride and EC distribution which represent salt water movement at Jakarta aquifer system.   Key word : Aquifers, Aquifer system, Chloride (Cl-) , Electric Conductivity (EC), Map, Hydraulic Equilibrium, Ground water, SURF Software.
