Abstract

Banyak restoran masih menggunakan sistem pencatatan manual hingga saat ini, yang menempatkan mereka pada risiko kehilangan data dan dapat merusak reputasi mereka. Membuat reservasi dan memilih menu melalui telepon atau secara langsung bisa menjadi tantangan bagi pelanggan.Pembuatan sistem reservasi online berbasis aplikasi ponsel adalah solusi yang diusulkan untuk masalah-masalah ini. Dengan teknologi ini, pelanggan dapat memesan meja tanpa harus mengunjungi restoran secara fisik, yang meningkatkan kenyamanan dan efisiensi pelanggan. Metode Design Thinking diterapkan dalam menciptakan sistem yang efektif. Dengan menggunakan kombinasi kreativitas, empati, dan rasionalitas, Design Thinking menghasilkan solusi inovatif yang memenuhi kebutuhan pengguna.Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan Design Thinking pada desain UI/UX aplikasi reservasi restoran dapat menghasilkan produk akhir yang lebih baik dan lebih menarik bagi pelanggan. Penerimaan teknologi yang semakin meningkat di Yogyakarta didukung oleh konektivitas internet yang lebih baik, penggunaan smartphone yang meningkat, dan peningkatan penggunaan teknologi. Restoran dapat merancang menu khusus, menawarkan layanan yang lebih personal, dan mengurangi risiko kehilangan data reservasi dengan sistem reservasi online yang efektif. Secara keseluruhan, inovasi ini dapat meningkatkan pengalaman makan bagi pelanggan dan membuat restoran lebih kompetitif di pasar yang semakin ramai.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi yang pesat  memberikan dampak besar pada berbagai aspek kehidupan, termasuk bidang medis. Salah satu inovasi terbesarnya adalah Internet of Things (IoT), yang memungkinkan konektivitas perangkat elektronik secara efisien. Dalam konteks kesehatan, IoT telah menciptakan solusi cerdas, seperti sistem pemantauan infus untuk pasien lanjut usia yang menjalani perawatan rawat jalan. Pasien lansia sering membutuhkan terapi infus yang memerlukan pemantauan intensif. Namun, keterbatasan fisik dan kognitif sering kali membuat mereka kesulitan dalam mengoperasikan alat infus secara mandiri. Oleh karena itu, sistem pemantauan infus berbasis IoT dirancang untuk memberikan kemudahan bagi para lansia dalam memantau infus mereka dari rumah. Sistem ini memungkinkan pemantauan volume infus secara real-time dan memberikan peringatan jika terjadi masalah atau kegagalan dalam pemberian cairan. Solusi ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kualitas hidup pasien lansia, memberikan rasa aman, serta mengurangi kebutuhan untuk datang ke rumah sakit secara berkala.

Abstract

The expanding elderly population demands special attention, including health monitoring. Blood pressure is an important health indicator for the elderly and should be checked on a regular basis to avoid complications. According to the World Health Organization (WHO), around 1.13 billion people worldwide were diagnosed with hypertension in 2015, which equates to one in every three people. Because of the difficulties in getting to hospitals, the elderly do not constantly monitor their blood pressure. Even while measuring at home, people may neglect to document the results. This paper presents the development of an IoT-based blood pressure monitoring system for the elderly that utilizes the MPX5700AP sensor and can display and store measurements via Blynk and Telegram. Data and information collection, requirement identification, system design, device assembly, implementation, system testing, and assessment are all part of the approach. The test results indicate that the system can precisely detect blood pressure. Thus, this technology can assist the elderly by automatically capturing blood pressure measurements.

Abstract

The application of IoT technology in the agricultural industry has significantly increased efficiency and productivity. In this study, a smart irrigation system that utilizes soil temperature and humidity sensors and NodeMCU ESP8266 and ESP32 units will be explained for its implementation. The NRF24L01 module is a wireless sensor module used to transmit data wirelessly and allows it to cover a wide range. Now, farmers can monitor and control the irrigation system remotely through the Blynk application. Tests show that crops managed through the IoT system have more consistent soil and air conditions and more efficient temperature and humidity control. Therefore, this precision agriculture system utilizes IoT and NRF24L01 to improve water and energy efficiency and encourage sustainability efforts in addressing climate change and increasing global food demand

Abstract

The digital transformation in the automotive sector has encouraged motorcycle repair shops to adopt application-based services in order to improve operational efficiency and customer convenience. However, many of the applications developed have not sufficiently considered user needs and experiences, resulting in low adoption rates and user satisfaction. This study aims to design a mobile-based motorcycle repair shop application interface that focuses on user needs and comfort, thereby enhancing the overall user experience. To achieve this goal, the study employs the User-Centered Design (UCD) approach, which actively involves users at every stage of the design process—from needs identification, user persona development, and prototyping using Figma, to design evaluation using the System Usability Scale (SUS) method. The usability test results show that the designed interface achieved an average SUS score of 86.53, which falls into the "Excellent" category, indicating a high level of usability. These findings demonstrate that the application of UCD significantly improves user interaction quality and serves as an effective strategy in the development of digital services for motorcycle repair businesses.

Abstract

This research develops an Internet of Things (IoT)-based Smart Water Dispenser using the Lean Methodology approach to create a real-time monitoring and notification system that is responsive to user needs. The system consists of a load cell, temperature sensor, and ultrasonic sensor integrated into a Firebase-based mobile application. Tests on 35 respondents showed an average volume sensor error of 1.89% (standard deviation 0.62%), an average notification delay of 0.92 seconds (standard deviation 0.15 seconds), and a user satisfaction score of 4.5/5. The main innovation of this research is the integration of multi-sensors with a Lean-based mobile notification system, which has proven to increase the efficiency of drinking water monitoring in public facilities. The results of this research are recommended for large-scale development and implementation in public environments. The consistent performance demonstrates that the system is highly feasible for implementation in large-scale public facilities.

Abstract

The increasing public awareness of a healthy lifestyle is not always balanced with easy access to fitness guides and proper nutritional information, especially for beginners. Many fitness applications available on the market do not fully meet the personal needs of users, such as customized exercises and practical daily nutrition records. This study aims to design and evaluate a digital fitness application that provides personal exercise recommendations and daily food recording features, using the Design Thinking approach. The design process was carried out through five stages: empathize, define, ideate, prototype, and test, which allows solutions to be developed based on a thorough understanding of user needs. Design testing was carried out using the System Usability Scale (SUS) method using 10 statements covering positive and negative aspects, and involving 13 respondents consisting of personal trainers and novice users. The test results showed an average SUS score of 84.62 which is included in the "Excellent" category, indicating that this application is easy to use, relevant, and satisfying. This study proves that a user-centered approach is very effective in creating digital solutions in the field of fitness.

Abstract

The Food & Beverage (F&B) industry in Indonesia is growing rapidly, yet many mobile applications still fail to deliver an optimal user experience (UX) due to unintuitive user interface (UI) designs, inefficient ordering systems, and lack of integrated payment methods. These issues negatively impact user satisfaction and application usability. This study aims to design the user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) of a mobile food & beverage application that meets user needs, accommodates industry expectations, and is evaluated for effectiveness using the User-Centered Design (UCD) approach. The research employed the UCD methodology, involving user interviews, persona development, wireframing, prototyping, and usability testing. The evaluation was conducted using the System Usability Scale (SUS) with 15 respondents. The results show that the prototype of the “KuliNow” application achieved an average SUS score of 84, categorized as “Excellent.” Key features include integrated mobile banking payments, direct communication with restaurants, social media integration, pre-order functionality, efficient order management, and a reliable review and rating system. This study demonstrates that the UCD approach is effective in developing intuitive, user-focused mobile applications.

Abstract

The objective of the study is to enhance user experience within the Digital Population Identity Application (DPIA), known as Identitas Kependudukan Digital (IKD), through interface redesign for public administration services in Indonesia. The research employs a user-centered design methodology structured around five sequential phases: user experience analysis, challenge identification, solution ideation, prototype development, and evaluation testing. Data collection involves user interviews and direct observation of application usage patterns. The application prototype underwent redesign based on identified challenges and was subsequently evaluated through quantitative survey methods focusing on usability metrics. Post-redesign testing revealed substantial improvements in ease of use, navigation efficiency, and user comfort levels. The study outcomes aim to advance user-friendly public service applications and may serve as a framework for developing additional digital systems requiring direct community-government interaction.

Abstract

Lansia atau seseorang dengan usia di atas 60 tahun adalah kelompok rentan keluhan kesehatan dengan 40,7 persen dari populasinya mengalami masalah kesehatan. Tingkat kepatuhan minum obat lansia terhitung rendah menurut beberapa penelitian. Untuk memperbaiki kondisi ini, diperlukan sarana pendampingan untuk menjaga kepatuhan konsumsi obat pada lansia. Pemanfaatan teknologi dalam menyelesaikan masalah ini sangat mungkin, mengingat 46,7 persen lansia di Indonesia telah menggunakan telepon genggam. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang sebuah aplikasi bergerak yang dapat digunakan untuk menjaga konsistensi minum obat dan melakukan pencatatan minum obat pada lansia. Rancangan ini dibuat dengan menggunakan metode Double Diamond yang dikembangkan oleh Design Council pada 2005. Ada dua aturan utama yang harus dipenuhi dalam perancangan, yaitu simplify dan increase the size of interaction button. Rancangan ini dievaluasi menggunakan dua metode pengukuran usabilitas, yaitu Single Ease Question dan System Usability Scale dengan memberikan skenario penggunaan yang harus diselesaikan kepada calon pengguna.
