Abstract

Bank Sampah Gestari, located in Dusun Gesikan, Panggungharjo, Sewon, Bantul, runs a routine household waste sorting program every “Minggu Legi.” In its operation, administrative officers still rely on manual data recording using notes and books, leading to data accumulation and inefficient recap processes, especially with the growing number of customers. The absence of a digital system to support the recording process presents a major challenge in achieving optimal administration. This study aims to design the User Interface (UI) and User Experience (UX) of a mobile-based administrative system for Bank Sampah Gestari using the Activity Centered Design approach. The approach focuses on the core activities performed by users during administrative tasks. The design process was informed by observations and interviews with administrative staff and was used to develop application flows and interfaces aligned with user needs and the bank’s business processes. The prototype was evaluated through two usability testing iterations, measuring five usability aspects: learnability, efficiency, memorability, errors, and satisfaction. Results showed notable improvements in all aspects. Learnability increased from 78% to 94%, efficiency from 0.0155 to 0.0440 goals/sec, memorability from 2.75 to 3.85, error rate decreased from 0.44 to 0.12, and satisfaction rose from 25.5 to 84.5. In conclusion, the proposed interface design significantly enhances ease of use, operational efficiency, and user satisfaction. The design can serve as a recommendation for developing a more structured, effective, and user-friendly digital administrative system for Bank Sampah Gestari.

Abstract

As a developing country with many provinces, Indonesia has a poverty problem that needs to be overcome. This research aimed to predict the poverty level in the Special Region of Yogyakarta using poverty data provided by the Central Statistics Agency for the Special Region of Yogyakarta. The method used in this research was Holt exponential smoothing to predict poverty levels in Yogyakarta City and four districts (Sleman, Bantul, Kulon Progo, and Gunungkidul) in this province. Three performances were measured to evaluate forecast results: sum squared error, mean squared error, and root mean squared error. The research results showed that the best configuration for the cities of Yogyakarta and Bantul is , = 0.9, 0.4; Kulon Progo and Gunungkidul are , = 0.9, 0.9; and Sleman are , = 0.9, 0.6. The forecasting results for 2022 to 2024, using a 95% confidence interval, showed that the poverty rate will increase in every city and district in the Special Region of Yogyakarta.

Abstract

The importance of maintaining the quality of information systems is one of the main factors in creating the success of a system owned by a company so as to encourage employees to utilize technology in completing their work. The web-based employee presence system is one of the systems developed by companies to monitor and measure the level of productivity of human resources. Based on the results of interviews conducted by researchers with five informants, it was found that the user's intention to use the system was still relatively low because the user was not satisfied with the implementation of the employee presence system. System evaluation can be carried out to find out what factors have a significant influence on behavioral intentions and the use of the staffing attendance system by adopting the UTAUT 2 acceptance model. This study makes adjustments to the UTAUT 2 model by eliminating price value as an exogenous variable. A total of 291 data were obtained from respondents through distributing questionnaires and data analysis was carried out using the PLS-SEM analysis technique assisted by SmartPLS. The results of the analysis show that system users must first develop behavioral intentions to use the presence system by increasing significant factors, namely: performance expectancy, effort expectancy, facilitating conditions, hedonic motivation which is reinforced by gender, habit, and behavioral intention.

Abstract

General Background: E-learning has rapidly expanded worldwide due to the widespread accessibility of the Internet and the increasing availability of digital devices. As a web-based learning ecosystem, e-learning integrates multiple stakeholders, technologies, and processes to facilitate knowledge acquisition. Specific Background: Universities have increasingly adopted e-learning platforms to enhance learning experiences. However, the success of these implementations varies, necessitating a deeper understanding of the factors influencing their effectiveness. Knowledge Gap: While previous studies have explored the technical and pedagogical aspects of e-learning, limited research has examined the indirect effects of information and system quality on user behavior within university settings. Aims: This study aims to evaluate the success factors of the Spada Wimaya e-learning system in a university setting by assessing the relationships between system quality, information quality, perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, behavioral intention, and actual system use. Results: The findings reveal that information and system quality indirectly influence behavioral intention and actual use through perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use. These results highlight the importance of user perceptions in determining the adoption and sustained utilization of e-learning platforms. Novelty: By adapting the research model from Presetyo et al. (2021), this study provides empirical evidence on the indirect mechanisms through which system and information quality affect user engagement in e-learning. Implications: The insights gained from this research can guide improvements in the Spada Wimaya e-learning system and serve as a reference for other universities aiming to enhance their digital learning environments. Highlights: User Perception Matters – System and information quality impact usage through perceived usefulness and ease of use. Indirect Influence – Quality factors do not directly affect behavior but work through user perceptions. Scalability – The model can be applied to improve e-learning systems in other universities.
