Abstract

Dysmenorrhea, or menstrual pain, is common among adolescents, with global prevalence rates reaching 59.7% to 92%. This pain, affecting the lower abdomen, back, and groin, usually begins 24 hours before menstruation and can last up to three days. Management includes pharmacological options like NSAIDs and analgesics, as well as non-pharmacological approaches. Pilates exercise is a practical, non-drug option shown to reduce menstrual pain by stimulating endorphin production, providing a natural sense of relief and comfort. Purposes : The goal of this study is to ascertain whether Pilates exercises can help adolescents who are experiencing menstrual pain. Methods : The design of this study is a literature review. Search for published articles on Google Scholar, Pubmed and GARUDA with the keywords "Pilates Exercise", "Dysminorhea / Menstrual pain". Of the three databases found 446 articles, executed as many as 432 because they did not match the research variables so that 9 articles were obtained to be read in full and 5 articles were found that met the criteria. Results: The results of the literature review of 5 literature studies conducted stated that there was an effect of pilates exercise on reducing menstrual pain in adolescents. Implications : Pilates exercise can be an effective and safe non-pharmacological treatment alternative to reduce menstrual pain in adolescent girls. Conclusion : It is hoped that pilates exercises can be recommended as an effective method in efforts to reduce menstrual pain in adolescents.

Abstract

Growth and development in infants is inseparable from the concept of growth and development. Body weight is the most important anthropometric measurement and is most often used in infants. Weight measurement is the most important measurement in examining a baby or toddler. Objective: The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of infant massage on weight gain in infants aged 6-12 months. Methods: This research is a quantitative research using quasi-experimental methods. The research design used in this study was one group pretest posttest. The sampling technique used in this study was Total Sampling, which used the entire population of 25 people. The research instrument used was digital baby scales and observation sheets, namely demographic data questionnaires. Results: The results of the data obtained showed that there was an increase in the average body weight which previously had an average of 6.57 to 7.02. As many as 25 people (100%) experienced an increase in weight development. With the conclusion of the T test with p < 0.05. conclusion The results of this study indicate that there is an effect before and after giving baby massage for 7 interventions on increasing the weight of infants aged 6- 12 months at PMB M Karyabakti Village, Batujaya District, Karawang in 2023.

Abstract

Maternal mortality is a measure of welfare and health status in a country. The death of 1320 mothers in Indonesia is caused by bleeding, one of which is caused by anemia during pregnancy. The success of supplementing 90 Fe tablets in Indonesia is 51% and only 37.7% of pregnant women consume 90 tablets of Fe tablets. Pregnant women and giving 90 iron tablets in West Java Province amounted to 98.2%, or 943.34 people and there was a jump of 0.5% or 5,505 pregnant women did not get Fe tablets. One way to monitor the consumption of FE tablets is through the MCH book. Research Objectives: To determine the relationship between consumption of Fe tablets in terms of filling out the MCH handbook and the incidence of anemia in third trimester pregnant women at the Cipayung Health Center in 2022. Research Methods: This study used the chi square method where observations were made of pregnant women at one time to measure the relationship between consumption adherence FE tablets with the incidence of anemia. The sample used in this study were 33 people who met the inclusion and exclusion criteria. Research Results: demo data obtained the average age of the mother is 31 years. Mother's education 54.5% have higher education. As many as 84.4% of mothers have high knowledge. As many as 66.7% of the 21 pregnant women who adhered to the consumption of FE tablets did not experience anemia. Statistical tests showed a P-value of 0.016 and there was a relationship between adherence to consumption of FE tablets and the incidence of anemia in third-trimester pregnant women at the Cipayung Health Center in 2022. Conclusion: monitoring of FE consumption can be done through the MCH handbook for pregnant women so that early prevention of anemia during pregnancy, especially when entering the third trimester.

Abstract

Colostrum is the best food and is an antibody for babies. Breast milk is a nutritional requirement for newborns, colostrum is yellow, low in fat but high in carbohydrates, protein and especially antibody content. This study aims to determine the relationship between the type of delivery and colostrum excretion in women in the fourth stage of labor. This type of research is a quantitative study using observational analytic methods. The population in this study were all mothers giving birth in the fourth stage at EMC Pulomas Hospital as many as 80 respondents. The statistical test uses the chi-square test. There is a significant relationship between the type of delivery and the time the colostrum comes out at the EMC Pulomas Hospital, Jakarta. evident from the value of p = 0.002. There is a significant relationship between the type of delivery and the time colostrum is released at EMC Pulomas Hospital, Jakarta, so it is necessary to provide counseling on types of delivery and its side effects
