Abstract

The distance learning can greatly improve student’s cognitive development, but its success in increasing students' affective competence have not been conclusively reported. This study aims to investigate students’ affective aspects, parents, and teacher perspective on islamic religious education using asynchronous learning. Data were collected using questionnaires, interview, and observation. The data were analysed using descriptive analysis. The results show that there was a change on students’ competence in terms of affective religious aspects. Initially 60% students have negative attitudes and decreased to 30% after they had experienced asynchronous distance learning with commitment of learning establishment. The parents in their interview expressed that they were greatly assisted by the commitment of learning their children formed. The asynchronous learning with learning commitment can be considered successful to help students improve their attitudes. This study shows that e-learning accompanied by a learning commitment between student and teachers turns out to be able to give positive results on the part of students' affective on islamic religious education.

Abstract

Penelitian ini berangkat dari masih rendahnya kompetensi pedagogik guru madrasah di Jawa Barat. Tujuannya untuk melihat makna pelatihan partispatif daring sebagai upaya peningkatan kompetensi pedagogik guru. Pelatihan secara daring selain dipandang efektif, juga dianggap tepat dimasa pandemi. Metode yang digunakan deskriptif analitik terhadap satu kelas pelatihan daring yang dilaksanakan di Balai Diklat Keagamaan bandung tahun 2020. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya perbaikan hasil pelatihan berupa kompetensi pedagogik oleh peserta pelatihan berdasarkan perbedaan hasil pretes dan postes. Penelitian ini juga menemukan adanya peran motivasi peserta dalam proses pelatihan yang berkontribusi terhadap capaian hasil pelatihan tersebut. Sehingga, penelitian ini menyatakan bahwa pelatihan daring partisipatif bermakna sebagai upaya perbaikan kompetensi pedagogik guru, terutama masa pandemi.

Abstract

This study aims to answer the challenges of teachers in increasing their competence in being creative during online learning. Because the Covid-19 pandemic condition requires an online learning process. One of the efforts made is to improve the competence of teachers in making android-based learning applications. The application used in this research is the one that refers to thunkable, which is one of the service providers for making android applications. This research was conducted through a one-shot case study approach with descriptive analysis. The results showed that the competence of madrasa teachers in making android-based applications increased after self-awareness-based training. The teacher's ability to increase both knowledge and skills is quite significant. This is indicated by a T-count of 0.072 with a level of trustworthiness of 95% which can be considered to have positive results on the implementation of training with a self-awareness approach. This ability indirectly has an impact on student motivation in online learning using teacher-made android-based applicationsKeywords: aplication based android, teacher ability, self-awareness

Abstract

This research was carried out based on doubts from several parties about the success of the implementation of the independent curriculum rolled out by the government. Therefore, researchers went into the field to dig data from the spearhead of curriculum implementation, namely madrasah and teachers. The study was conducted by descriptive method. The instruments used are interviews and open questionnaires. The resulting findings that have been analyzed by descriptive studies show that from the aspect of teachers, both the age and length of service of teachers stated that they were ready to implement an independent curriculum. Meanwhile, from the madrasah aspect, both the ibtidiyah, tsanawiyah, and aliyah madrasah levels, also stated that they were ready to implement an independent curriculum, even for the aliyah madrasah level, all subjects wanted this curriculum change.
