The sampling technique used random sampling and data collection using the Catin Visit Register measuring instrument and the Chi Square statistical test. Results: the research conducted at 50 CPW calculated the Pearson chi square statistical test, the results obtained a significance value of p = 0.003 so that it is smaller than the alpha value = 0.05 (p = 0.003 < = 0.05). Then H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted which means there is a relationship between Education, Employment and Compliance with Pre-Marriage Health Checks at the Plumpang Health Center, Tuban Regency. Abstract

30-40% of maternal deaths in Indonesia were caused by pre-eclampsia in 2018. Preeclampsia is a specific syndrome in pregnancy that can cause liver problems. Disorders can be characterized by abnormal laboratory results in the liver enzymes while in the kidney is indicated by the presence of proteinuria. Organ disorders can cause morbidity and death of the mother and fetus. This study aims to analyze the results of blood laboratory in pregnant women with preeclampsia in the delivery room of RSUD dr.R Koesma Tuban in 2020. Method: The research design is correlation analysis. The population of all pregnant women with preeclampsia in the delivery room at RSUD dr. R Koesma Tuban from January to June 2020, with a total of 102 people, a sample of 52 people used simple random sampling. The independent variable is preeclampsia, the dependent variable is the platelet level. Using the chi square test with a significance level of p<0.05. Results: most of the pregnant women with severe preeclampsia 39 (75%), almost all 42 (81%) platelet levels were in the normal category. With a significance value of 0.115, then H1 is rejected, meaning that there is no relationship between platelet laboratory levels in pregnant women and preeclampsia in the maternity ward of RSUD DR. Koesma Tuban. Conclusion: there is no relationship between preeclampsia and platelet levels. So that it is hoped that research can be carried out on the causes of preeclampsia and other laboratory results

Abstract

Background: Organic acids such as ascorbic acid (vitamin C) can help absorb iron by reducing Ferry to Fero which is easily absorbed 3-6 times (Almatsier, 2014). The purpose of this study is whether Fe tablets with the addition of sweet orange juice (citrus x sinesis) can affect hemoglobin levels in third trimester pregnant women with anemia. Method: The study design was a pre-post control group design. The population in this study were all 35 pregnant women with anemia in the third trimester, using a simple random sampling technique. The sample size is 32 respondents with each group consisting of 16 respondents. The treatment group was given Fe tablets & sweet orange juice for 14 days. Result: Most of the hemoglobin levels of anemic pregnant women in the third trimester before being given Fe tablets experienced moderate anemia by 9 (56.3%) and after being given Fe tablets experienced an increase to mild anemia by 9 respondents (56.3%). There is an effect of giving Fe tablets with sweet orange juice (citrus x sinensis) on increasing hemoglobin levels in third trimester anemic pregnant women. Conclusion: Giving Fe tablets with sweet orange juice (citrus x sinensis) has a more significant role in increasing hemoglobin levels in anemic pregnant women in the third trimester, as health workers it is recommended to do more education to the public, especially pregnant women about how to consume Fe tablets with sweet orange juice (citrus x sinensis) so that absorption of Fe is better

Abstract

Background: Breast engorgement is an unpleasant physiological condition characterized by swelling and pain in the breasts. Treatment to reduce breast engorgement uses aloe vera which contains aloin and emodin which can function as analgesics. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of aloe vera compresses on breast engorgement in postpartum mothers. Methods: This was a true-experimental design with a pre-post test design with a control group. The independent variable is Aloe vera compress while the dependent variable is Breast engorgement pain. The population in this study were all postpartum mothers at the Merakurak health center, The sample in this study was 32 postpartum mothers at the Merakurak Community Health Center who met the inclusion criteria, The sampling technique used consecutive sampling and data collection using observation sheets involving 32 postpartum mothers. The statistical tests were undertaken using the Wilcoxon and Mann-Whitney tests. Results: The results of the study showed that the majority of postpartum mothers were aged 20-35 years, in a total of 23 mothers (93.6%). Most of them (62.5%) had a high school educational background, and most of them (62.5%) had a history of multiparas. Based on the results of the study, there is an effect of giving aloe vera compresses on breast engorgement in postpartum mothers (p-value 0.000). Conclusion: Aloe vera compress therapy can be used by postpartum mothers to treat breast milk retention because aloe vera contains anthraquinone which contains aloin and emodin which can function as analgesics. Aloe vera compress can be done Recommended as a complementary therapy for breast engorgement pain.

Abstract

Background: Anemia is a symptom of a lack of red blood cells due to low hemoglobin levels. Based on the performance assessment report of the Tuban Regency Senori Community Health Center  East Java Indonesia in 2022, it was found that 36.65% of pregnant women experienced anemia. This shows that there are still many pregnant women who experience anemia and need treatment. The aim of this research is to determine the effect of spinach consumption on increasing hemoglobin levels in pregnant women. Method: quasi experiment with One Group Pretest-Posttest design. The sample in this study was 16 pregnant women with anemia in the Senori Community Health Center Tuban Regency East Java Indonesia, who met the inclusion criteria. The research instrument used an observation sheet to determine hemoglobin levels in the blood before and after consuming green spinach, an easy touch Hb level check tool. Data were analyzed using paired T-test. Result : The average Hb level of pregnant women before the intervention was 10.20 gr% and after the intervention was 11.18 gr%, the results of the paired t-test showed a significance value = 0.000, so the significance value (2-tailed) < α (0 .05) which shows that there is an effect of spinach consumption on increasing hemoglobin levels in pregnant women. Conclusion : There is an effect of spinach consumption on increasing Hb levels in pregnant women. Integrated ANC activities are expected to be carried out routinely so that pregnant women who experience anemia can be detected early and health workers can provide explanations to pregnant women about the dangers of anemia during pregnancy and the consumption of spinach and its benefits.
