Abstract

The development of increasingly modern times, teachers are required to innovate regarding learning media. This study aims to develop learning media in the form of animated videos based on science process skills, on energy material for learning science in grade IV elementary schools. This research is a Research and Development (R&D) study by adopting the Borg and Gall development model which is carried out in seven stages, namely potentials and problems, data collection, product design, design validation, product design revisions, product trials and product revisions. Data collection techniques in this study used questionnaires and validation sheets. Data analysis using Likert scale analysis. Validation was carried out by material experts, media experts, and education experts. The trials were conducted in small groups of 7 students and large groups of 25 students. The results of this validation were carried out by material experts obtaining a score of 77% which was categorized as very suitable for use, media experts by 95%, who were categorized as very suitable for use, the results of trials on education experts obtained a score of 93.7% which were categorized as very suitable for use and students with small-scale group trials of 96.18%, large-scale group trials of 94.65%, with categories suitable for use. It can be concluded that animated video learning media based on science process skills is appropriate for use in class IV on natural science learning on energy sources. Abstract

Pembelajaran IPA diharapkan dapat mengembangkan keterampilan proses sains. Permasalahan yang dihadapi guru pada masa pandemi ini adalah sulit untuk merancang pembelajaran IPA berbasis keterampilan proses sains secara daring. Kegiatan pengabdian ini berupa pelatihan secara komprehensif tentang pelaksanaan pembelajaran IPA berbasis keterampilan proses sains secara daring.  Langkah-langkah yang dilakukan dalam kegiatan pelatihan ini yaitu : 1) Pemaparan materi tentang pembelajaran IPA secara daring, 2) Pretes tentang keterampilan proses sains, 2) Paparan materi tentang keterampilan proses sains, 4) Pemaparan materi tentang aplikasi Liveworksheet 5) Pemaparan materi tentang pembelajaran Zoom 5) Evaluasi dan Postes tentang keterampilan proses sains. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner melalui googleform. Analisis data menggunakan analisis rerata skor keterampilan proses sains dan  persentase respon peserta. Hasil keterampilan proses sains menunjukkan adanya peningkatan dari kemampuan peserta dengan rata-rata skor tes awal sebesar 1,7 dan rata-rata skor tes akhir sebesar 9,7. Indikator kemampuan memprediksi mendapat skor tertinggi pada tes akhir dan indicator dengan skor terendah pada tes akhir adalah kemapuan merencanakan percobaan.  Respon peserta menunjukkan hasil yang positif dimana para guru mendapatkan pengetahuan, keterampilan, sikap dan produk dalam pelatihan pembelajaran IPA berbasis keterampilan proses sains secara daring. Kendala dalam kegiatan ini terkait dengan gangguan jaringan saat pemaparan materi.

Abstract

Critical thinking and creative thinking skills are skills that are in high demand in the 21st century. Many assume that these skills can be developed simultaneously, so that children who are able to think critically are considered capable of creative thinking as well. Therefore, this study aims to see the relationship between these skills. This study used quantitative methods with a correlational approach, with data collection techniques using tests. The test instruments used in this study are tests of critical thinking skills in indicators of interpretation, analysis, evaluation and inference. While the test of creative thinking skills on indicators of fluency, flexibility, elaboration and originality. The population in this study was all grade V of Assisted Elementary School 2 Cluster 6 Ciracas District as many as 16 classes and the sample of the study was 4 classes. The sampling technique was cluster random sampling. The correlation test results showed a relationship between critical and creative thinking skills. Furthermore, the results of the regression coefficient showed a value of 0.999, meaning that critical thinking skills affect 99% of creative thinking abilities.

Abstract

Tujuan peneliti di balik proyek ini menciptakan Book Creator untuk mengetahui apakah e-modul berdasarkan pemikiran kreatif memang mungkin dilakukan. Lima langkah model ADDIE—analisis, desain, pengembangan, implementasi, dan evaluasi—diikuti selama studi ini. Kuesioner dan wawancara langsung juga digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data. Siswa kelas V dari salah satu sekolah dasar negeri Kota Tangerang menjadi sampel penelitian. Validasi media mendapat skor 97% pada ujian ahli media, dan kategori yang ditetapkan ternyata sangat realistis. Hasil validasi materi sebesar 93%, dan klasifikasi yang ditetapkan tepat. E-modul pendidikan sains yang dirancang mendapat penilaian sangat memuaskan dari para pengujinya, dengan rata-rata skor 91% pada formulir evaluasi siswa dan skor evaluasi guru sebesar 97%. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa e-modul berbasis Book Creator dapat membantu siswa mengembangkan kemampuan kreatifnya.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui persepsi siswa terhadap pemanfaatan Kahoot dan Quizizz dalam pembelajaran di kelas IV SD. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif dengan desain survey. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah angket. Populasi dalam penelitian ini yaitu seluruh siswa kelas IV Sekolah Dasar di Kecamatan Kalideres. Dengan teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik Cluster Random Sampling. Diperoleh sampel sebanyak 117 siswa. Analisis data ini menggunakan skala likert. Penelitian ini menunjukkan aplikasi Kahoot lebih diminati dari aplikasi Quizizz. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa persepsi siswa pada aplikasi Kahoot sebesar 71,1 dan pada aplikasi Quizizz sebesar 69,5.

Abstract

This research focuses on urgency of environmental issues that require immediate attention, particularly through education. Public environmental awareness is still relatively low, necessitating the role of schools is needed in instilling ecoliteracy in students from an early age. Ecoliteracy is the ability to understand and maintain the environment well by recognizing the impact of one’s actions on nature and undertaking actions that help protect the environment. The purpose of this research is to determine the role and supporting as well as inhibiting factors of schools in instilling ecoliteracy to build students environmental awareness. This research was conducted at SDN Susukan 07 Pagi with class V participants. The research uses a qualitative approach with a case study design to gain in-depth understanding. Data collection techniques include interviews, observations, and documentation to gather informations from informants. Data analysis used the Miles and Huberman. The results of the research indicate that the school plays an important role in instilling ecoliteracy through the curriculum, extracurricular activities, and special environmental programs. At SDN Susukan 07 Pagi, ecoliteracy is implemented through the Merdeka curriculum, which integrates environmental materials into learning and school’s programs. This effort is supported by routine habituation activities such as work group ceremonies, the LISA (Lihat Sampah Ambil) program, spontaneous activities, role modeling from teachers and the principal, and good environmental conditioning. In conclusion, school activities effectively contribute to the instillation of ecoliteracy.

Abstract

Keterbatasan penggunaan media pembelajan dalam kegiatan belajar mengajar sehinnga perlu adanya pengembangan media pembelajaran agar tiap peserta didik mampu belajar secara kritis dan mandiri. Keterampilan tersebut penting ditanamkan dalam proses belajar mengajar sebagai landasan untuk menyelesaikan berbagai permasalahan dalam masyarakat di masa yang akan datang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merumuskan dan mengembangkan pop-up book sebagai media pembelajaran pada topik daur hidup hewan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu menggunakan Research and Development (R&D) dengan model ADDIE dengan subjek penelitian yaitu 32 siswa dan guru di Sekolah Dasar(SD) Kaliabang Tengah VIII.   Metode yang digunakan meliputi observasi, wawancara, dan angket. Instrument perolehan data yaitu kuisioner dengan skala liktar1-5 dan tes dalam bentuk pilihan ganda. Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa: (1) media pop-up book berbasis kemampuan HOTS pengembangan dengan menggunakan model ADDIE melalui 5 tahap yaitu analisis, perencanaan, pengembangan, implementasi dan evaluasi. (2) hasil validasi pop-up book berbasis kemampuan HOTS dari para review dinyatakan valid oleh para ahli, hasil review ahlimateri 98, 67% (sangat baik), hasil review ahli media 90,67% (sangat baik), hasil review oleh pendidik 92% (sangat baik), uji coba peserta didik 82,60% (sangat baik). Dengan demikian media pembelajaran berupa pop-up book berbasis kemampuan HOTS pada topic IPA mengenai daur hidup hewan dinyatakan layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran di sekolah dasar. (3) media pop-up book dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik tingkatan SD.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze how much influence the use of a problem-based learning model on the ability of science literacy learners in Learning Natural Sciences class III Makassar State Elementary School. This study uses the experimental method, and the form of research is a quasi-experiment. With the design of posttest only control design, and sampling techniques using purposive sampling. Based on the results of data analysis, the average post-test in the experimental class was 33.82 while in the control class was 23.18. Hypothesis test results using T-test with Mann Withney formula, obtained by Asymp. Sig (2-tailed) 0.014. The value of asymptotic significance in the calculation of the t-test is smaller than the significance level of 0.05, thus the HA is accepted, so that from the test results there is a significant influence between the results of scientific literacy students who use problem-based learning model.
