Abstract

Theater at school is an extra-curricular activity. It is hoped that theater arts in the school will bring forth qualified young actors as professional actors. Theater actors in schools that develop into professional actors must have abilities that are equivalent to professional actors. Theater actors in schools must have proper theater skills. The Augusto Boal theater concept is a theater method that can be used as a process of awareness, liberation in developing aspects of life, sensitivity and creative power and imagination. The Boal concept is oriented to the process of empowering knowledge that is aware of life values and liberation and develops a critical attitude. Critical awareness is needed for theater actors to be able to open insight into thinking, create space to freely identify and analyze. Andre Malraux in Alma Hawkins explains that a person's creative journey involves seeing, exploring and realizing. Creative starts from the desire to realize a form of art. The creativity of theater will be achieved by seeing, exploring, and realizing what is in man by feeling and absorbing it and then realizing it by free thinking. In order for a theater actor in a school to develop and make it possible to become a professional actor, it is important to have critical and creative awareness in theater.

Abstract

The phenomenon of school theater if classified includes the following issues: 1) the resources of teachers and coaches who are not all art education backgrounds, and understand the concepts of theater and theater (dramaturgy, acting techniques, and directing methods, 2) still a negative perception of school theater 3) goodwill and school interpretation of the purpose and benefits of school theater (just perform, practice community or human character building). The school theater is a form of activity that produces beauty with novelty in the work of the show. The work of theater performances in question is the artwork that berdramaturgi as a 'theater process'. Theaterpedagogy is interpreted as a theater education, educational process, and theater learning process. A process of changing the attitude and conduct of a person or group of people in an effort to mature human beings through the efforts of teaching and training; processes, ways, and deeds educate with, through / and use the art of theater. To solve the problem of school theater required renewal of the method in running the school theater based on aesthetic thinking and pedagogy.

Abstract

Representation of Batara Kala in Contemporar Theater of Kalamanungsa. This Kalamanungsa theater tellshumanitarian issues, the journey of human life, human beings who have characters that need to fi nd a way out forthe better life. Starting from the myth Betara Kala that was born not intentionally emerges a wide range of results.Kalamanungsa will show something different. Existence Betara Kala, Kala Betara existence presented, and the mythof the birth of stalling and Betara Kala is an inspiring creation performance theater Kalamanungsa. Kalamanungsaraised the issue of modern society life with invented characters, with burdened by the dialogues that contain philosophy,poetry, with strong musical aspect. Kalamanungsa is showed with a modern theatrical approach, by presentingthe symbols to express meaning and emotion, using multimedia, projector/LCD, with music that is processed ona computer elaborated with a variety of traditional and modern musical instruments as the stage spectacle which isintentionally presented to give specifi c meaning. Theater performance Kalamanungsa tries to explain all elements ofart in a show, like music art, dance art, lighting and other art media with hope that Kalamanungsa will attend as ashow of modern theater.

Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan implementasi pembelajaran dengan teknik observasi lingkungan berbasis kearifan lokal di sekolah dasar. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif yang dipadukan dengan pendekatan kuantatif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah kepala sekolah dan guru sekolah dasar yang mewakili empat  kecamatan di Banyuwangi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara umum, para guru belum membuat perencanaaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi pembelajaran menggunakan teknik observasi lingkungan dengan memanfaatkan potensi kearifan lokal. Hal ini terjadi karena guru belum memahami secara tepat proses pembelajaran menggunakan teknik observasi lingkungan dengan memanfaatkan potensi kearifan lokal. Karena itu, perlu disusun acuan yang jelas dan operasional sebagai pedoman bagi guru dalam penyusunan RPP, pelaksanaan pembelajaran, dan evaluasi pembelajaran. Kata-kata kunci: kearifan lokal, pembelajaran, dan observasi lingkungan

Abstract

The use of Indonesian language in the school environment that has not been optimal makes teachers make efforts to develop language skills and encourage students' critical and creative thinking abilities. This study aims to examine and analyze the application of Ki Hajar Dewantara's Among concept in Indonesian language learning as an effort to optimize students' language skills holistically. The method used is a literature study by collecting, analyzing, and synthesizing various relevant literature sources on the concept of Among and Indonesian language learning. The results show that the application of the Among concept which emphasizes teacher exemplary, motivation, guidance, family approach, and democratic principles has high relevance in optimizing students' language skills. Teachers play an important role in applying this concept by being role models, motivators, and mentors for students. Learning strategies and techniques that are aligned with the Among concept such as project-based, collaborative, and contextual learning can be applied to increase students' interest and motivation to learn and develop language skills as a whole. In conclusion, the application of Ki Hajar Dewantara's Among concept in Indonesian language learning is the right solution to realize meaningful, contextual, and aligned learning with national education goals.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengkaji proses rekonstruksi cerita pendek Ikan Asin dan Mah Yong karya Rifan Nazhip menjadi sebuah naskah sinema pendek dengan menggunakan teori adaptasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Proses rekonstruksi menggunakan teori adaptasi Hutcheon. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian terdapat unsur cerita pendek berupa tema, alur, tokoh dan penokohan, latar, sudut pandang, dan amanat. Setelah proses adaptasi, hasil penelitian tersebut menunjukkan perubahan yang ditandai dengan adanya pengurangan, penambahan, dan perubahan bervariasi. Pengurangan cerita pendek dikategorikan menjadi dua, yaitu penyederhanaan alur dan pengurangan tokoh. Penambahan dikategorikan menjadi lima, yaitu penambahan karakter atau tokoh, struktur cerita, lokasi, dialog, dan adegan. Perubahan bervariasi cerita pendek terdapat pada nama tokoh, pada cerita pendek menggunakan kata ‘Aku’ berubah menjadi Agus dalam naskah sinema pendek. Dengan demikian, rekonstruksi cerita pendek menjadi naskah sinema pendek merupakan upaya untuk memperkaya dan memperluas pengalaman artistik cerita asli dalam format yang berbeda.

Abstract

Lirik lagu Feby Putri merupakan karya sastra berbentuk puisi yang berisi curahan hati dalam bentuk nyanyian. Di era ini, tidak sedikit penyanyi yang menciptakan lagu dengan menggunakan kosakata yang beragam. Untuk mengetahui makna lirik lagu Feby Putri, penelitian ini menggunakan makna asosiatif, yaitu makna yang dimiliki oleh sebuah kata yang berhubungan dengan keadaan di luar bahasa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) mendeskripsikan bentuk makna asosiatif pada kosakata dalam lirik lagu album Riuh karya Feby Putri dan (2) mendeskripsikan fungsi makna asosiatif pada kosakata dalam lirik lagu album tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian analisis teks. Data penelitian berupa album Riuh Feby Putri yang dirilis pada 21 Januari 2022 di platform pemutar musik Spotify. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan metode simak dan catat, sedangkan teknik analisis data melalui tiga tahapan, yaitu (1) reduksi data, (2) penyajian data, dan (3) penarikan kesimpulan. Berdasarkan hasil analisis, diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa lirik-lirik dalam album Riuh karya Feby Putri memiliki kosakata yang bermakna asosiatif. Kosakata pada lirik tersebut juga memiliki fungsi yang dapat memberikan energi positif bagi pendengarnya, meliputi nilai-nilai moral dan pandangan hidup.
