Abstract

ABSTRACTThe purpose of this research is to add GPS application on practicum module of microcontroller for autoimatic railway barrier application. The method of this research is experimental design by designing the equipment of railway barrier based on GPS coordinates to develop modul application of microcontroller practicum. Data were collected from observation and measurement; the function from each part of the tool was observed while the latitude and longitude coordinates of the point in some locations were measured by the made tool. The data were analyzed by descriptive analysis for the function of each part of the tool and the measurement of coordinates were analyzed its erorr. The findings of the research showed that GPS could give the information about the position for both latitude and longitude coordinates if the accepted satelite signal met the standard requirement. Then, compared with the tools in market, the result from the made tool had error level of 0.82’ for latitude coordinate and 101,4’  for longitude coordinates.Keywords: GPS, microcontroller

Abstract

Natural disasters like earthquakes frequently cause building collapses, trapping many victims under dense rubble. The first 72 hours are crucial for locating survivors, but the dangers of secondary collapse hinder direct access. Teleoperated robots can provide vital visual data to aid rescue efforts, though many prototypes remain constrained by high complexity, cost, and minimal customizability. This work investigates developing an Internet of Things (IoT) integrated disaster response robot that delivers accessible and remotely controllable capabilities for victim identification in hazardous collapse sites. Requirements analysis was conducted through a literature review and first responder interviews to determine the critical capabilities needed. The robot was designed using 3D modeling software and assembled using 3D printed and off-the-shelf components. It features remote-controllable movement, real-time video feed, geopositioning, and remote lighting toggling. Rigorous lab tests validated core functionalities, including camera image acquisition, Bluetooth communication ranges up to 10 meters, and comparable GPS coordinate accuracy to a smartphone. Further field experiments showcased the robot's ability to transmit smooth video signals over distances up to 12 meters and its adeptness at navigating complex terrains, evidenced by its proficient left/right panning and ability to surmount obstacles. An affordable Internet-of-Things integrated disaster robot tailored to victim identification was successfully designed, prototyped, and tested. This robot aids search and rescue operations by delivering visual and spatial data about hard-to-reach victims during the critical hours after disaster strikes. This confirms strong potential, accessibility, and customizability for professional and volunteer urban search and rescue teams across environments and economic constraints.

Abstract

This research aims to design and develop CoreXY FDM 3D Printer that can be optimized for learning purposes. By detailing aspects of design, hardware, and software, this research is expected to make a significant contribution in improving the quality of learning. Research using the Research and Development method, carried out based on the Machine Learning System Development model with stages in the form of Problem Understanding, Data Handling, Model Building, and Model Monitoring. The results showed that the lowest average depreciation value in the 3D printer developed was smaller than the 3D Printer machine from the previous study. The best print quality was produced in experiment number 3 where the print results were almost flat and smooth. So that the best print parameters are produced at a layer thickness of 0.1 mm and a print speed of 60 mm / minute. Blackbox Test results show that all components of the 3D printer machine have been able to function properly. The results of the user trial questionnaire showed that the average value of all aspects received a value of 3.55 from a range of values 1-4, indicating that this machine is very good to be used as a medium in the learning process. Comparison of FDM CoreXY 3D Print printing process time after development shows shorter print time than FDM CoreXY 3D Printer machine before development.

Abstract

AbstractThe purpose of this research to know relationship of intelligence adversitas and learning climate to the behavior of delaying completion of academic tasks of students, and to know the condition of climate study in electro department of YSU. The method used by the questionnaire is quantitative to obtain the respondent's response. Place of study in the Department of Electrical Engineering Education using sample Mechatronics class of 2014 and Electro class of 2015. Data analysis technique using quantitative descriptive analysis. The results of this research is a adversity intelligence seen from the self, the habits, the duties, the self-factor and the responsibility of the students is well, this is in line with the average length of the student study in 2017 is 4-5 years. Factors that support a good learning climate have been given and self-awareness factors are classified. Keywords: Adversity, Character, Delaying Task Settlement AbstrakPenelitian yang telah dilakukan bertujuan untuk Mengetahui seberapa jauh hubungan kecerdasan adversitas dan iklim belajar terhadap perilaku menunda penyelesaian tugas akademik mahasiswa, dan mengetahui kondisi iklim belajar di Jurusan Pendidikan Teknik Elektro FT UNY. Metode yang digunakan angket tertutup kuantitatif untuk memperoleh respon responden. Tempat penelitian di Jurusan Pendidikan Teknik Elektro dengan menggunakan sampel Prodi P.T. Mekatronika angkatan 2014 dan prodi S1 P.T. Elektro angkatan 2015. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil yang diperoleh menyatakan kecerdasan adversitas yang dilihat dari pengendalian diri, kebiasaan, penundaan penyelesaian tugas, faktor diri dan tanggung jawab mahasiswa JPTE dikatakan baik, hal ini selaras dengan lama rata-rata studi mahasiwa pada tahun 2017 ini 4-5 tahun. Sedangkan faktor yang mendukung iklim belajar yang baik telah diberikan Jurusan Pendidikan Teknik Elektro dan faktor kesadaran diri sendiri digolongkan cukup serta perlu ditingkatkan. Kata kunci: Adversitas, Karakter, Menunda Penyelesaian Tugas
