Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan aspek linguistik penamaan pedusunan(kampung) di Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatifdengan pendekatan etnografi Spradley. Data penelitian adalah nama pedusunan/kampung,yang dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Analisis datamenggunakan metode agih dengan teknik bagi unsur langsung dan metode padan denganteknik referensial. Hasil penelitian sebagai berikut. Pertama, nama pedusunan (kampung)dominan berbentuk kata jadian/bentuk kompleks, di samping temuan baru berbentukfrase dan klausa. Kata jadian berupa bentuk pangkal/dasar ditambah pengimbuhan ataumorfem pradasar yang sudah memperoleh pengimbuhan atau pemajemukan. Kedua,nama pedusunan (kampung) dominan berbentuk kata polimorfemis. Ketiga, jumlah sukukata toponim pedusunan (kampung) dominan lebih dari dua suku kata. Keempat, pilihankata yang banyak digunakan adalah kata-kata sehari-hari. Kelima, nama pedusunan/kampung di DIY dominan terdiri atas satu kata.Kata kunci: toponim, etnografi, linguistik, sejarah-budaya

Abstract

News in the form of editorial texts or headlines in the Sindo Newspaper on semantic meaning relations. This study aims to describe the variety of word-meaning relationships in the editorial text of the April 2023 edition of the Sindo Newspaper. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method with text analysis research. The data of this study are words and phrases in sentences in the headline that show the relationship of meaning. The words and phrases in question are the words and phrases contained in the news content. The data source for this research is the headline in the April 2023 edition of the online-based Sindo Newspaper. The data collection technique in this study uses documentation and literature study techniques. Based on data analysis, various word-meaning relationships were obtained in the form of synonyms, antonyms, hyponyms, hyponyms, economies, metonyms, polysemia, collocation, and redaction.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the variation of language used in AMOEBA (Bajang Youth and Youth Generation) meetings and social gatherings in Pandak, Bantul, and Yogyakarta. The method used in this research is a descriptive qualitative method. The data was obtained from the recordings made at the wedding ceremony of a community in Bantul Regency. According to Scarlet, the speech act analysis in this study is based on the speech act theory. This research produces written data. The results of the study show that the use of language found in the AMOEBA hamlets of Daleman, Gilangharjo, Pandak, and Bantul are as follows; (1) Switching external codes from Javanese to Indonesian; (2) switching extercodescode from Arabic to Indonesian; (3) internal code-switching from Javanese ngoko to Javanese krama; (4) mix code into; (5) mix the code out; (6) and speech acts which are dominated by the presence of illocutionary speech acts, in the form of expressive speech acts and directive speech acts. Based on the sociopragmatic analysis, the use of the language is strongly influenced by the social conditions of the speaking community, both age, kinship, and the same language, because they live in the same area
