Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menghasilkan perangkat pembelajaran bangun ruang dengan pendekatan Creative Problem Solving  yang berkualitas baik berdasarkan kriteria valid, praktis, dan efektif. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian dan pengembangan dengan model pengembangan Four-D yang diadaptasi dari Thiagarajan, Semmel, dan Semmel yang memuat tahap define, design, develop, dan disseminate. Penelitian ini menghasilkan perangkat pembelajaran yang terdiri dari Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran (RPP), Lembar Kegiatan Siswa (LKS), tes prestasi belajar, dan tes kemampuan penalaran matematis. Hasil validasi menunjukkan bahwa perangkat yang dikembangkan memiliki kategori sangat valid untuk masing-masing RPP, LKS, dan tes. Hasil uji coba menunjukkan bahwa RPP dan LKS yang dikembangkan memiliki kategori praktis dan efektif. Kepraktisan mencapai kategori sangat praktis berdasarkan penilaian guru dan mencapai kategori praktis berdasarkan hasil observasi keterlaksanaan pembelajaran dan penilaian siswa. Keefektifan mencapai kategori efektif berdasarkan ketuntasan belajar siswa. Secara klasikal ketuntasan tes prestasi belajar mencapai 76,67% dan tes kemampuan penalaran matematis mencapai 90%.Kata kunci: pengembangan, perangkat pembelajaran, Creative Problem Solving  Developing of Solid Instructional Package with Creative Problem Solving Approach AbstractThe aim of this research was to produce the solid instructional package with Creative Problem Solving  approach which have good quality based on the validity, practicality, and effectiveness criteria. This study was a research and development using the developmental model adapted from Thiagarajan, Semmel, and Semmel included define, design, develop, and disseminate stages. This study produces instructional package consists of lesson plans, student worksheets, achievement tests, and mathematical reasoning tests. The results of the validation showed that the developed package is very valid based on lesson plans, student worksheets, and tests. The results of the tryout indicated that lesson plans and student worksheets are practical and effective. The practicality was in  very practical category based on teacher’s assessment and practical category based on the implementation of learning and student’s assessment. The effectiveness was in the effective category based on student’s learning mastery. In the classical mastery learning it reached 76.67% for achievement and 90% for mathematical reasoning.   Keywords: development, instructional package, Creative Problem Solving

Abstract

Biotic and abiotic stress during cultivation is one of the challenges in increasing upland rice production. Stress can be mild to severe, potentially reducing yield. Knowing the ability of plants to adapt to stressful environments from the start is essential information in the assembly of new high-yielding varieties. This study aims to determine stress in 36 upland rice lines and the adaptability of several upland rice lines to environmental stress. The genetic material used was 36 upland rice lines and two comparison varieties with four replications. The line is planted in Lampung, DI. Yogyakarta and East Java, two locations each. That area has different soil types and elevations. Data were analyzed descriptively and tabulated. In addition, the average scoring of biotic and abiotic stress for each location was calculated. The results showed that biotic stresses found in the plantations were Leaf Blast, Neck Blast, Bacterial Leaf Blight, Brown Spot, Red Striped, Rats, Birds, Rice Leaf Roller, and Stem Borer. Meanwhile, the abiotic stresses found were drought and salinity. From 36 tested lines, it showed that G26 was resistant to biotic stress caused by pests and diseases, G29 was drought-tolerant, and G6 was salinity tolerant.

Abstract

Upaya menghasilkan suatu varietas unggul baru tanaman padi, sudah selayaknya melibatkan calon pengguna seperti petani.  Selera petani atau masyarakat   di setiap daerah terhadap suatu varietas dapat berbeda bergantung pada pola konsumsi, budaya  dan lingkungan setempat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui preferensi petani terhadap 15 galur harapan padi gogo toleran aluminium. Pengumpulan data dilakukan di Desa Bintang Ara, Kecamatan Bintang Ara, Kabupaten Tabalong, Kalimantan Selatan. Sebanyak 30 responden petani menilai penampilan galur padi gogo pada fase menjelang panen.  Pengamatan dilakukan secara visual terhadap karakter agronomis yang tampak.  Sejumlah 15 galur harapan padi gogo ditanam pada petak berukuran 1 m x 5 m dengan jarak tanam 20 cm x 20 cm tanpa rancangan percobaan. Selama proses penanaman terdapat sejumlah kendala antara lain tingkat kesuburan tanah rendah dan serangan hama penyakit tanaman. Namun kendala ini tidak mengganggu produksi dan pengamatan.  Hasil penjajakan preferensi petani Bintang Ara terpilih 5 nomor galur harapan padi gogo yaitu: 1, 2, 4, 22, dan 23, Galur-galur tersebut dipilih karena memiliki karakteristik sesuai keinginan calon pengguna.  Beberapa karakter utama yang dipilih antara lain:  tanaman tinggi, sudut daun bendera lebar, malai panjang, umur tanaman dengan kategori sedang.  Sementara karakter unggul lainnya yang disukai ialah jumlah anakan produktif banyak, padi mudah rontok, bulir ramping, warna gabah kuning emas, dan aroma beras wangi.
