Abstract

ABSTRACTThe chemical ludo game is a learning media that is useful as an exercise to strengthen the stabilization of students' thermochemical concepts. This study aims to develop the ludo-chemistry game media against thermochemical material and determine the level of validity of the chemical ludo-play media. This type of research is a Educational Desaian Research with a PLomp development model. The development of the ludo chemistry game is limited to the expert review stage. Data were collected using a validation questionnaire. Validation was carried out by four validators, and for the 0ne to one test, it was carried out by three students. The data analysis technique used Aikens V. The results of the media validation test had a V value of 0.85 with the valid category. Thus, the chemical ludo game is said to be valid as a learning medium for class XI thermochemical material.Keywords: Ludo Chemical, Learning Media, Thermochemical, Plomp Aikens V.ABSTRAKPermainan Ludo Kimia merupakan media pembelajaran yang berguna sebagai latihan untuk pemantapan konsep Termokimia peserta didik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media permainan ludo kimia terhadap materi Termokimia dan menentukan tingkat validitas dari media. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian Educational Desaian Research dengan model pengembangan plomp. Pengembangan permainan ludo kimia dibatasi sampai tahap expert review. Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan angket validasi. Validasi dilakukan oleh empat orang validator, dan untuk uji one to one dilakukan oleh tiga orang peserta didik. Teknik analisa data menggunakan formula Aikens V. hasil uji validasi media memilik nilai V sebesar 0,85 dengan kategori valid. Dengan demikian permainan ludo kimia dikatakan valid sebagai media pembelajaran untuk materi Termokimia kelas XI.Kata Kunci: Permainan Ludo Kimia, Media Pembelajaran, Termokimia, Plomp, Aikens V

Abstract

ABSTRACTThis study aims to produce a variety of exercises in the form of the Chemical Snakes and Ladders Game to strengthen students concepts on the Atomic Structure material and determine the level of validity of the media function. This type of research is Educational Design Research with a Plomp model consisting of 3 stages, namely: (1) preliminary research, (2) prototyping phase and (3) assessment phase. This research is limited to the stages of prototyping and formative evaluation to the stage of one to one and expert review. The expert review assessment was carried out with a validity test by 3 chemistry teachers at SMAN 7 Padang and 2 chemistry lecturers from FMIPA UNP. The data was sourced from validity questionnaire which was then analyzed using the Aiken's V formula. Penelitian ini dibatasi pada tahap pembentukan prototipe dan evaluasi formatif hingga tahap one to one dan expert review. Penilaian expert review dilakukan dengan uji validitas oleh 3 orang guru kimia SMAN 7 Padang dan 2 orang dosen kimia FMIPA UNP. Data bersumber dari angket validitas yang kemudian dianalisis dengan formula Aikens V. Hasil validasi didapatkan nilai rata-rata V 0,83 dengan kategori valid. Abstract

This research is limited to the stage of prototype phase and formative evaluation to the stage of one-to-one testing and expert review. Expert review was conducted by testing the validity by 2 chemistry lecturers and 2 chemistry teachers. Data were collected using a validity questionnaire which was then analyzed using the Aiken's V formula. Abstract

ABSTRACTThis study aims to produce a game of chemical snakes and ladders as a learning media on oxidation-reduction reactions (Redox) and compound nomenclature which then determines the level of validity based on the function of the media. This type of research is Educational Design Research by applying the Plomp development model which consists of three stages, namely the preliminary research stage, the prototype formation (prototyping stage) and the assessment phase (assessment phase). This research is limited to the expert review stage which is part of the prototyping stage. The development of this chemical snake and ladder game was validated by 4 validators, two chemistry lecturers at FMIPA UNP and two chemistry teachers at SMA N 1 Gunung Tuleh. The instrument of this research is a validity questionnaire. The data were analyzed using the Aiken V formula. Instrumen dari penelitian ini berupa angket validitas. Data dianalisis menggunakan rumus Aiken V. Abstract

ABSTRACT The availability of the chemistry game of snakes and ladders that have tested for validity, practicality and effectiveness, but has not tested for their effect on student achievement in the cognitive domain. The purpose this study to determine the effect of using the chemistry game of snakes and ladders on colloid material on students’ achievement of MAN 1 Padang Lawas. This type of research is a quasi- research and the research design is Randomized Control Group Posttest Only Design. The population of this study all students of class. Sampling used the Simple Random Sampling technique, so that the XI MIA 1 class was obtained as the experimental class and the XI MIA 3 class as the control class. From this assessment, the results of the posttest obtained with an average value of 82.2 for the experimental class and 78.8 for the control class. Data analysis was performed by t-test at a significance level of 0.05. The results of the analysis obtained tcount = 4.438 and ttable = 1.665. Because tcount > ttabel means H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. It can be said that there is a significant effect of using colloid chemistry game media on the achievement in class XI MAN 1 Padang Lawas. keywords, influence, chemstry snake and ladders game, colloid, students’ achievement
