The Curriculum 2013 requires teacher to carry out teaching-learning process using the scientific approach, so that it can encourage students to be more active individually or in groups. The Colloid system is a chemical material that is studied in the XI class of high school even semester. This study aims to produce a colloidal system module guided inquiry-based equipped with HOTS questions, and to develop a valid module. The type of research used is Research and Development (R and D). The development model used is the Plomp development model which consists of 3 stages that are preliminary research, prototype stage and assesment. The instrument of data collection used is the instrument of validity. The research data was analyzed using the Cohen Kappa formula. The module was validated by 5 validators.The results of the questionnaire analysis of validity by the validator were 0.90 with a very high validity category.

This study aims to produce a module ion equilibrium and pH of salt solution and how to categorise module validity and practicality levels. As this is Research and Development study, we used Plomp model consisting three stages, preliminary research, prototyping stage and assessment phase. Guided inquiry is a learning model used in this study. This module is validated by 5 validators with a research instrument in validation and practicality sheet in the form of questionnaires. The validator’s evaluation of each statement was analysed using Kappa Cohen formula. The results show kappa moment value (κ) 0.85 with a very high category. The kappa moment value (κ) for practicality of module based on teacher’s response is 0.88, while student’s response is 0.81. The resulting module is very valid and practical to use.

The purpose of the review research is to describe the cognitive learning outcomes of students who use guided inquiry modules in chemistry learning. This type of research is a research library that uses a semi-systematic approach, uses secondary data and uses documentation methods. Content analysis techniques are used in data collection (Snyder, 2019). Guided inquiry modules is effective in increasing the cognitive learning outcomes of students in chemistry learning. Structured arrangement of guided inquiry modules can make students understand learning objectives and concepts clearly. The guided inquiry module which is equipped with multiple representations also makes it easier for students to learn concrete and abstract.

This study aims to determine the practicality of the guided inquiry-based acid-base module in class XI MIPA. This study uses a plomp development model consisting of 3 stages, namely initial research, prototype development, and the assessment stage. The instrument used in the practicality test is in the form of a questionnaire given to teachers and students. The practicality value is calculated by using Aiken V formula. The result of this study indicates that the module developed has a practical value of 0,89 with a high category.

This study aims to produce a product in the form of a module on basic chemical laws and stoichiometry and to find out how the categories of module validity levels produced. This is Research and Development study that aims to produce a particular product. This research uses the Plomp model which consist of three stages, preliminary research, prototyping stage and asasment phase.The Instrument to be test validity in the form a validation sheet . This product is validated by 5 validators consisting of 3 lecturers of chemistry majors at FMIPA UNP and 2 teachers from SMAN 10 Padang. The result of the validation obtained the moment kappa value (k) of 0,81 so that from the value it can be said that the module produced is very valid.

This research development aims were to create and determine validity and practicality categories of buffer solution module based on guided inquiry equipped with HOTS type problems. This research was a Research and Development with Plomp development model. Instrument used was module validity and practicality questionnaire. Module was validated by 5 validators. Practicality was determined by providing a questionnaire to 2 chemistry teachers and 51 students of class XII MIPA SMAN 8 Padang. The data obtained were analysed with the Kappa Cohen formula. The result of the research obtained average kappa moment value validity (0,90), average kappa moment value practicality of teacher response (0,93) and the practicality of student response (0,84). This result showed that the module which has been developed was very valid and practical to used in learning

This study aims to describe the learning outcomes of students on materials of chemical calculations using guided inquiry-based modules. The materials for chemical calculations include chemical equilibrium, salt hydrolysis, and buffer solutions. The type of this research is literature research with a semi-systematic approach. The data source is in the form of secondary data from reputable and non-reputable scientific journals. The data were collected using the documentation method and analysed using content analysis techniques. Based on the results of the journal review that has been done, it can be concluded that the learning outcomes of students in learning using guided inquiry-based modules have increased significantly in materials of chemical calculations, namely chemical equilibrium and salt hydrolysis and buffer solutions. The use of guided inquiry-based modules can encourage students to be active during the learning process and there are models and key questions that can make help students to find concepts and the existence of practice questions at the application stage that can strengthen students understanding.

Chemistry learning in the 2013 Curriculum using guided inquiry which applied scientific approach can be presented in a module. The module was integrated with the Quran to fulfil Local Government Regulation No. 2 the Year 2019 and following core competence 1 in the 2013 Curriculum. The goal of the research was to produce and test the validity of the Quran integrated guided inquiry module on redox reaction topic for 10th Grade of Madrasah Aliyah (MA). The research used the Plomp model which has stages: preliminary research, prototyping stage, and assessment. The instrument is a validity questionnaire for teachers and lecturers. The V Aiken formula is used to calculate the validity value. The validation test revealed that Aikens V had an average value of 0.83. This indicates that the module is categorized as valid based on Aikens V category.

This research aims to produce a guided-inquiry based module on Chemical Bonding, also to categorize validity of the module. It is a Research and Development which is used Plomp model which consists of three stages, preliminary research, prototyping stage and assessment phase. The instrument used for this research is questionnaire for validation. Was validated by 5 people, 3 lecturers of Chemistry Department FMIPA UNP and 2 chemistry teachers of SMA Pertiwi 1 Padang. The analysis result of validity sheet showed the average Kappa moment (k) was 0.86. The module that has been produced is very valid to be used.

This research aims to determine the category of validity and practicality of module based on guided inquiry on redox reaction with high order thinking skill’s question (HOTS) for 10th grade students. This research uses a research design of the Plomp model development which consist of 3 phases: preliminary research, prototyping phase, assessment phase. The data were analysed using kappa moment. This module is validated by 5 validators that consisting of 3 chemistry lecture and 2 chemistry teacher who are experienced and experts in their fields. The result of this research showed that the module had a high category of validity with a kappa moment of 0,77. The module has a high category of practicality based on the teacher’s questionnaire responses which has a kappa moment of 0.80 and the module practicality category based on student questionnaires is equal to 0.70.
