Abstract

This study aimed at developing and to determining a qualified teaching materials in the form of Problem Based Learning (PBL) module on Mathematical Logic Course. PBL module is a form of systematic teaching material to support the learning process that can also be studied by students independently with authentic and meaningful problems or situations. This research can be catagorized as Research and Development or R&D. This development model was employing 4-D model with 4 stages of define, design, develop and disseminate stages. In this study, there was only 3 stages that were performed, namely define, design, and develop. The research instrument was using a module validation sheet. The product assessment was carried out by three validators consisting of two material experts and a media expert who were the lecturers of mathematics education study program. The results showed that the assessment of the two material validators towards PBL module on Mathematical Logic Course indicating the total mean score of 3.65 with the “very valid” criteria while, according to the media experts, the total mean score was 3.8 that can be catagorized as “very valid”. It means that the developed PBL module on Mathematical Logic Course has fulfilled the valid criteria, so it is feasible to be used in mathematics logic lectures. Abstract

Padang City Market is one of the shopping centres in Padang City, which is located in the West Padang District. The shopping centre presents a place for people to buy kitchen supplies or basic daily needs. This makes the area quite attractive for community travel. This research was conducted on 400 respondents who visited Padang City Market. In this study, the choice of mode is represented by the Y variable and is categorized into private vehicles, public transportation, rental vehicles, walking, and others. The travel time variable represents X1. The variable price of goods represents X2. This study aims to assess the level of correlation between the choice of mode (Y) on the variable travel time (X1) and the variable price of goods (X2). Furthermore, the mode selection (Y) was modeled based on the variables X1 and X2 using linear regression analysis with SPSS tools. The results of the analysis show a strong relationship between the Y variable and the X1 and X2 variables. The best linear regression model produced is Y = 0,010 + 0,76X1 + 0,029X2 with a value of R = 0,437. This means that the closer the travel time is and the lower the price of goods, the more the intensity of motorcycle mode selection to Pasar Raya Padang increases.

Abstract

Many pedestrian paths are still not well organized and optimally utilized. On the other hand, the comfort of pedestrian paths should be a priority in urban transportation planning. This study aims to determine the level of pedestrian service on Jl. Istana and Jl. H. Agus Salim Bukittinggi city and to determine the perceptions of people who use pedestrian crossing facilities on Jl. Istana and Jl. H. Agus Salim in the Bung Hatta Palace area Bukittinggi based on comfort and level of pedestrian service. This research uses descriptive research methods carried out to explain the situation that occurs on the pedestrian path Jl. Istana and Jl. H. Agus Salim in the Bung Hatta Palace area Bukittinggi. For the results of pedestrian movement characteristics obtained data Flow (Flow) in segment I amounted to 0.12, 0.70 and 0.75 pedestrians / min, in segment II amounted to 0.29, 1.13 and 1.67 pedestrians / min. Speed data in segment I was found to be 52.32, 55.97 and 54.97 m/min, in segment II it was 55.03, 51.74 and 53.96 m/min. Density in segment I was 0.18, 0.19 and 0.18 m2/ped, in segment II it was 0.62, 0.57 and 0.60 m2/ped. Space in segment I was 5.65, 5.38 and 5.50 m2/ped, segment II was 1.62, 1.74 and 1.67 m2/ped. Pedestrian ratio in segment I amounted to 0.0016, 0.0094 and 0.0100, segment II amounted to 0.00380, 0.01509 and 0.02227. The results showed that the level of pedestrian service on Jl. Istana and Jl. H. Agus Salim in the Bung Hatta Palace area Bukittinggi is A, because pedestrians can move freely according to their wishes without any interference from other pedestrians and for the results of the questionnaire that has been distributed as many as 100 respondents obtained a comfort value of 72% and this figure is included in the comfortable category.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the correlation between temperature, humidity, and Rainfall at the Geophysics Station of Padang Panjang from 2020 to 2023. Monthly data from the Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) was used to evaluate the relationship between these meteorological variables. Statistical analysis, including correlation and multiple linear regression, was conducted using SPSS version 22. The results show a significant negative correlation between Rainfall and temperature, indicating that temperature tends to decrease as rainfall increases. In contrast, a positive correlation between Rainfall and humidity suggests that higher humidity levels are associated with increased Rainfall. However, the regression analysis reveals that temperature and moisture explain only 16.76% of the variation in Rainfall, indicating the potential influence of other factors not included in the model.
