Abstract

Pandemi covid-19 berimbas di semua aspek kehidupan, tidak terkecuali pendidikan. Guna memutus penyebaran virus covid 19 ini, diterapkan sistem Work From Home dan Study From Home (Adiwijaya, 2020). Belajar dari rumah hanya dapat dilakukan melalui pembelajaran daring. Pembelajaran daring tersebut tentu mempengaruhi motivasi belajar mahasiswa. James Drever (Slameto, 2013), menyatakan bahwa motive is an effective factor which operates in determining the direction of an individual’s behavior to wards an end or goal, consioustly apprehended or unconsioustly. Motif merupakan penggerak/daya seseorang melakukan sesuatu untuk mencapai tujuan tertentu. Sehingga pembelajaran daring akan berhasil jika mahasiswa termotivasi untuk belajar. Sehingga tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan profil motivasi belajar mahasiswa pada mata kuliah teori bilangan saat pembelajaran daring di era pandemi covid-19. Profil motivasi belajar mahasiswa dideskripsikan melalui dimensi motivasi instrinsik dan dimensi motivasi ekstrinsik. Jenis penelitiannya adalah penelitian deskriptif dengan instrumennya berupa angket. Berdasarkan hasil analisis instrumen angket dapat dideskripsikan bahwa mahasiswa tetap mempunyai motivasi yang tinggi untuk belajar. Hal ini dapat diketahui dari dua dimensi motivasi. Dimensi motivasi intrinsik dapat disimpulkan bahwa belajar mahasiswa sangat dipengaruhi oleh motivasi intrinsik. Mahasiswa sadar bahwa belajar merupakan suatu kebutuhan. Sedangkan pada dimensi motivasi ekstrinsik disimpulkan bahwa mahasiswa terpengaruh dengan adanya dorongan dari luar terkait dengan metode pembelajaran yang digunakan, pemberian nilai bagus (reinforcement positif) dan masa depan yang cerah. Motivasi ekstrinsik tetap diperlukan, mengingat kondisi mood mahasiswa yang sering berubah-ubah. Sehingga motivasi ekstrinsik harus selalu diciptakan untuk siap siaga tatkala motivasi intrinsik berkurang.

Abstract

Mathematical reasoning is a thinking activity that connects various facts, characteristics, pattern of relationships in problem solving so that logical generalizations are obtained. Not a few errors occur in the process of solving differential equation. An investigation is needed on the reasoning process in solving differential equation problems. The purpose of this research is to describe students’ mathematical reasoning errors in the differential equation material. This research is a qualitative descriptive with test instruments and interview guidelines. The research was conducted on 5 subjects, namely 6th semester students. The results showed that the most mathematical reasoning errors were indicators using relationship patterns to analyze the situation. In the reasoning process, many reasoning errors are made in planning solutions, mathematical manipulation, and making conclusions.

Abstract

The basic skills of teaching students who are prospective teachers of Mathematics Education are needed to improve the competence of prospective teachers when entering the world of education. This study aims to determine the process of teaching and learning activities and basic teaching skills of prospective students of Mathematics Education teachers in microteaching at UNIPA Campus Blitar. This type of research includes descriptive research with a qualitative approach. The research subjects were 6 students. There are two techniques used in this study, namely observation techniques with open and closed answers. The activities of students of the Mathematics Education Study Program at UNIPA Campus Blitar regarding the Implementation of Microteaching in the teaching skills of prospective teacher students in the 5 main components of Basic Teaching skills have a total average of 76.1%, which is included in the good category.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine high school students' understanding of the concept in terms of logical-mathematical intelligence. This study's subjects were three students, one from each of three groups of students with high, medium, and low logical-mathematical intelligence. The indicators of understanding concepts used in this study are Bloom indicators of understanding concepts, namely translation, interpretation, and extrapolation with Krulik and Rudnik problem-solving procedures. This study's instruments were tests and interviews. Data analysis consists of three steps: data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. According to the findings of the analysis, (1) students with high logical-mathematical intelligence met the three indicators of concept understanding, namely the indicators of translation, interpretation, and extrapolation, as well as the five Krulik indicators of problem-solving. (2) students with high logical-mathematical intelligence fulfilled the three indicators of concept understanding, namely indicators of translation and interpretation, with 4 of 5 indicators of problem-solving according to Krulik and Rudnik fulfilled, (3) students with low logical-mathematical intelligence fulfilled one of the three indicators of concept understanding, namely indicators of translation, with 3 of 5 indicators of problem-solving according to Krulik and Rudnik fulfille. Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pemahaman konsep siswa SMA ditinjau dari kecerdasan matematis logis. Subyek dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari tiga orang siswa yang masing-masing dari kelompok siswa dengan kecerdasan matematis logis tinggi, sedang dan rendah. Indikator pemahaman konsep yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini merupakan indicator pemahaman konsep menurut Bloom, yaitu Penerjemahan (translation), Penafsiran (Interpretation), Ekstrapolasi (extrapolation) dengan prosedur pemecahan masalah menurut Krulik dan Rudnik. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Tes dan wawancara. Analisis data mencakup reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil analisis menyatakan bahwa (1) siswa dengan kecerdasan matematis logis tinggi memenuhi ketiga indikator pemahaman konsep yaitu indikator penerjemahan, penafsiran, dan ekstrapolasi dengan 5 indikator pemecahan masalah menurut Krulik dan Rudnik terpenuhi, (2) siswa dengan kecerdasan matematis logis sedang memenuhi ketiga indikator pemahaman konsep yaitu indikator penerjemahan, dan penafsiran dengan 4 dari 5 indikator pemecahan masalah menurut Krulik dan Rudnik terpenuhi, (3) siswa dengan kecerdasan matematis logis rendah memenuhi satu dar tiga indikator pemahaman konsep yaitu indikator penerjemahan dengan 3 dari 5 indikator pemecahan masalah menurut Krulik dan Rudnik terpenuhi.
