Abstract

Aktivitas penambangan emas tanpa izin dapat menyebabkan permasalahan yang diakibatkan oleh penggunaan merkuri. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas penyerapan bentonit dan pasir kuarsa terhadap konsentrasi merkuri yang mencemari air sungai Batang Asai, Provinsi Jambi. Metodelogi yang digunakan yaitu dengan metode observasi dan percobaan laboratorim. Parameter observasi adalah konsentrasi merkuri, pH air, Turbidity dan TDS.. Rancangan percobaan adalah Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan 5 perlakuan dan 3 ulangan. Perlakuan terdiri dari B1=100% bentonit non aktivasi, B2=100% Bentonit Aktivasi + 0% Pasir kuarsa, B3=75% Bentonit Aktivasi + 25% Pasir kuarsa, B4=50% Bentonit Aktivasi + 50% Pasir kuarsa dan B5=25% Bentonit aktivasi + 75% Pasir kuarsa. Parameter yang diamati adalah kosentrasi merkuri. Hasil observasi kualitas air yaitu konsentrasi merkuri 0,648272 ppm, pH 6,4, Turbidity 9.572,35 NTU, dan TDS 36,25 ppm. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa perlakuan berpengaruh nyata (p > 0,05) terhadap penurunan konsentrasi logam merkuri. Uji lanjutan menunjukan perlakuan B2 lebih optimal. Disimpulkan bahwa kualitas air dengan parameter konsentrasi merkuri, pH, Turbidity dan TDS sangat tinggi dan perlakuan B2 sangat efektif.

Abstract

Kurang aktifnya siswa dalam mengikuti pembelajaran mengakibatkan kemampuan siswa untuk berpikir dalam proses belajar rendah, apalagi dalam kemampuan berpikir kreatif. Siswa cenderung belajar dengan menghafal, tanpa siswa menemukan sendiri pembelajaran tersebut. Salah satu alternatif untuk membuat siswa aktif menemukan sendiri pemebelajaran tersebut adalah menggunakan model pembelajaran inkuri terbimbing. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keterlaksanaan model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing terhadap kemampuan berpikir kreatif, dan hasil belajar siswa pada materi sifat koligatif larutan di kelas XII IPA SMA Islam Al-Falah Kota Jambi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian campuran (mix method) dengan mendahulukan data kualitatif dan kemudian baru data kuantitatif sebagai data primer. Teknik pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan Purposive sampling yaitu kelas XII IPA.1 sebagai kelas sampel. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berupa lembar observasi untuk melihat keterlaksanaan model oleh guru, siswa, serta berpikir kreatif, dan soal tes essay digunakan untuk melihat hasil belajar siswa. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini ada 2 yaitu teknik analisa data kualitatif menggunakan Miles and Huberman yang diperoleh dari komentar observer pada lembar observasi, dan teknik analisis data kuantitatif menggunakan korelasi produk memoment yang diperoleh dari data keterlaksanaan model oleh guru, siswa, berpikir kreatif, serta data hasil belajar siswa. Keterlaksanaan model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing oleh guru dan siswa sudah terlaksana dengan baik dilihat aktivitas guru dan siswa mengalami peningkatan tiap pertemuannya. Korelasi keterlaksanaan model inkuiri terbimbing dengan kemampuan berpikir kreatif dikaregorikan sedang dengan nilai rxy 0,43, sementara itu kemampuan berpikir kreatif dengan hasil belajar siswa termasuk kategori sangat rendah dengan nilai rxy 0,17. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa keterlaksanaan model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing berpengaruh positif pada materi sifat koligatif larutan di kelas XII IPA.1 terhadap kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa.

Abstract

The goal of this research is to create eLKPD that utilizes ProblemBased Learning (PBL) combined with STEM, focusing on electrolyte and nonelectrolyte solutions, with the intention of enhancing critical thinking abilities in students. Additionally, the study seeks to assess the practicality of the eLKPD that incorporates PBL and STEM, based on evaluations from experts in content and media, along with feedback from teachers and students regarding the developed eLKPD. The research follows the Lee & Owens (2004) model, which consists of five phases: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The study involved a oneonone trial with 3 students and a small group trial with 10 students at SMAN 2 Muaro Jambi. Qualitative and quantitative analysis methods were employed for data examination. Findings indicated that the created eLKPD, based on PBL integrated with STEM, was deemed both feasible and valid, scoring an average of 4. 75 for material and media validation, and 4. 6 overall. An average score of 4. 66 was recorded for teacher assessments. In the oneonone trial, participants achieved a score of 29, translating to a percentage of 96. 66%. For the small group trial, the total score was 462, with a percentage of 92. 4%. Furthermore, the evaluation results of students' critical thinking showed an average score of 79. 76, with a completion rate of 77%. As a result of these findings, the eLKPD created was confirmed to be valid and practical for educational purposes, receiving positive feedback from students

Abstract

Fish disease is an obstacle in the cultivation of Dumbo catfish (Clarias sp.) which can result in fish death. The need for information on how to prevent and treat fish diseases is very necessary. This study aims to determine the effect of aeration duration on water quality, ectoparasite intensity, prevalence, dominance, survival and condition factors, then correlate water quality with ectoparasite intensity. This study used a Complete Randomized Design (CRD) with five treatments and four replications. Treatment includes aeration 0 hours/day, 6 hours/day, 12 hours/day, 18 hours/day and 24 hours/day. Data analysis using ANOVA of a certain level of significance. If there is a noticeable difference from each treatment, proceed to the DUNCAN test. Test the correlation of water quality with ectoparasite intensity. The result of this study is that long aeration can increase oxygen solubility, acidity but reduce ammonia and nitrite. The correlation value of oxygen solubility in ectoparasite intensity is 0.828, acidity (pH) is 0.849, ammonia is -0.888, nitrite is -0.592. The prevalence value of P0 and P1 is 0%, P2 is 89%, P3 and P4 is 100%. The intensity of ectoparasites in Dumbo catfish (Clarias sp.), at P0 is 2, P1 is 13, P2 is 75, while at P3 and P4 is 100. The dominance of ectoparasites that infect is Trichodina sp. by 71.7-100% and Dactylogyrus sp. by 0-28.4%. The survival rate of fish at P0 was highest with a value of 89%, P1 at 84%, P2 at 71%, P3 and P4 rates at 0%. The value of the condition factor then P0 and P1 have a value of 1, P2, P3 and P4 have a condition factor value of 1. It is concluded that the longer aeration is given, the solubility of oxygen increases which results in an increase in the intensity and prevalence of ectoparasite infections, the pH of the water becomes neutral and decreases the content of ammonia and nitrite. There is a moderate to very strong correlation between water quality and ectoparasite intensity. There is an increase in the prevalence of infection, ectoparasite intensity and fish mortality so that it can reduce the survival and condition factors of Dumbo catfish (Clarias sp.).Keywords:AerationInfectionEctoparasitesClarias sp
