Abstract

Angka kematian ibu dan anak (AKI) masih menjadi masalah serius di Negara berkembang seperti Indonesia. Salah satu penyebabnya adalah kurangnya persiapan persalinan ibu primigravida. Upaya yang dapat dilakukan untuk meningkatkan persiapan persalinan yaitu melalui edukasi terstruktur. Tujuan penelitian yaitu untuk menjelaskan pengaruh edukasi terstruktur terhadap persiapan persalinan ibu primigravida. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan yaitu pra eksperimental dengan rancangan one group pretest and posttest. Populasi dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 38 ibu primigravida. Sampling menggunakan purposive sampling. Berdasarkan kriteria penelitian besar responden berjumlah 26 ibu primigravida. Penelitian dilakukan pada bulan Maret-April 2022 di Puksesmas Teluk Kabupaten Sikka Propinsi Nusa Tenggara Timur. Intervensi edukasi terstruktur diberikan sebanyak 4 kali. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan kuesioner yang telah divalidasi dan dianalisis menggunakan uji wilcoxon. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan ada pengaruh edukasi terstruktur terhadap persiapan persalinan ibu primigravida (p 0.000). Penelitian ini membuktikan bahwa edukasi terstruktur dapat meningkatkan persiapan persalinan ibu primigravida. Untuk itu Puskesmas dapat membuat program promosi kesehatan yang komprehensif dengan mengintegrasikan edukasi terstruktur pada pelayanan kesehatan ibu hamil.

Abstract

Pregnancy is a natural thing that happens to produce women. When a mother finds out that she is pregnant, she will feel very happy because this is the happiest and most awaited time, but when experiencing the process of pregnancy a mother will experience anxiety due to pregnancy and childbirth. Anxiety is one of the psychological disorders that often occurs in pregnant women, which is more present in the third trimester of pregnancy. Anxiety in pregnant women can have a negative impact on both the mother and the fetus. This study aimed to explain the relationship between education and family support on the anxiety of third times trimester pregnant women in the Waipare Health CenterThe research design used is analytic correlation with a cross sectional approach. The population in this study were all third-trimester primigravida pregnant women in the working area of the Waipare Health Center who were taken using the total sampling technique and totaling 24 respondents. Data collection uses a questionnaire and is tested using the Lambda and Gamma tests.The results showed that there was a relationship between education and anxiety levels (p-value = 0.000), there was a relationship between family support and anxiety levels (p-value = 0.006). Based on the results of the research above, it is hoped that health workers will provide education to mothers to reduce anxiety in facing childbirth so as to reduce the high risk of maternal and infant mortality.

Abstract

Breastfeeding is a natural process that provides benefits for both mother and baby. However, post partum sectio caesarea mothers often experience various challenges in breastfeeding, such as surgical wound pain and lack of support, which can affect breast milk production. One effort to improve breast milk production is through the implementation of breastfeeding father, which refers to the involvement of the father in providing emotional, informational, and instrumental support to the mother. The purpose of this study is to describe maternity nursing care through the implementation of breastfeeding father in increasing breast milk production among post partum sectio caesarea mothers in the Anggrek Ward of RSUD dr. T.C. Hillers Maumere. The method used in this study is descriptive with a case study approach involving two post partum sectio caesarea mothers who experienced problems with breast milk production. The intervention provided included education and involving the husband in supporting the breastfeeding process. The results showed that after the implementation of breastfeeding father, there was an increase in breast milk production, indicated by smoother milk flow, increased breastfeeding frequency, and signs of adequate milk intake in the baby. In addition, both mothers showed increased confidence in breastfeeding. In conclusion, the implementation of breastfeeding father is effective in increasing breast milk production among post partum sectio caesarea mothers
