Abstract

This study aimed to determine the level of mental workload and psychosocial factors of nurses at the executive level in in-patient rooms of a military hospital. Data were collected by distributing questionnaires to 41 nurses who served in the in-patient rooms. Measurement of mental workload was carried out using the National Aeronautics and Space Administration - Task-Load Index (Nasa-TLX) questionnaire. Measurement of psychosocial factors was carried out using the Copenhagen Psychosocial Questionnaire (COPSOQ II) questionnaire. The results showed that the average value of the overall mental workload was in the high category. The value of psychosocial factors in the work environment shows good results on the majority of the rating scales. However, the hospital needed to pay attention to several factors, such as emotional demands, health perceptions, fatigue and stress and work pace. The results of this study also showed a strong and significant positive relationship between the dimensions of management's trust and performance with r=0.545(p=0.000). Thus, it is recommended that hospital management not only assess the performance of nurses, but also periodically assess mental workload and psychosocial factors in order to create a conducive work environment

Abstract

This study evaluates the impact of daily traffic activity at the four-legged intersection at the Cimencrang railway crossing, in the Al Jabbar Mosque area, using the Indonesian Road Capacity Guidelines (PKJI) 2023. The aim of this study is to assess the traffic performance affecting the efficiency of at-grade road and railway crossings in the area. This evaluation is essential to understand the traffic dynamics in the area, which will help the government in designing traffic and transportation management methods to reduce future congestion. Traffic data was collected through direct surveys during peak hours on weekdays, covering vehicle volume, vehicle types, and the geometric dimensions of the roads at the intersection. The evaluation results indicate that the intersection’s Volume to Capacity Ratio (VCR) at the study site is 0.74. The findings also suggest that this four-legged intersection frequently experiences critical conditions, with Levels of Service (LOS) ranging from C to E during busy hours. The study recommends improving traffic management and infrastructure to enhance performance and traffic conditions, as well as road user safety in this area. It is hoped that these findings can serve as a foundation for local government in planning more effective traffic policies in the area, and provide insights into the processes and procedures of traffic evaluation at four-legged intersections.

Abstract

Abstrak Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk melakukan analisis komprehensif dan memperoleh wawasan optimal terkait antrean logistik dalam industri pakaian dan kain rajut Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis serta mencari kesimpulan optimal pada antrian logistik di industri rumahan pakaian dan kain rajutan di Binong Jati. Pendekatan studi menggunakan distribusi Poisson dan eksponensial untuk menganalisis data waktu tunggu dari berbagai tahap seperti produksi, penyimpanan, pengemasan, dan pengiriman produk. Uji Kolmogorov-Smirnov digunakan untuk memeriksa kesesuaian data dengan distribusi tersebut. Metode ini melibatkan pengumpulan data dan analisis statistik guna mengidentifikasi tantangan utama di industri ini. Hasil analisis diharapkan menunjukkan kesesuaian yang signifikan antara data waktu tunggu dan kedua distribusi. Implikasinya adalah peningkatan perencanaan produksi, pengelolaan persediaan, dan penjadwalan pengiriman produk untuk memperbaiki kinerja dan kepuasan pelanggan. Rasio kecocokan kedua model distribusi, Poisson dan eksponensial, dengan Uji Kolmogorov-Smirnov adalah sebesar 0,062 dan 0,057. Batasannya adalah keterbatasan dalam hanya menggunakan dua distribusi, sehingga penelitian mendatang diharapkan dapat mengeksplorasi pendekatan distribusi lainnya. Abstract This research aims to analyse and find optimal conclusions regarding logistics queues in the home-based clothing and knitted fabric industry in Binong Jati. The study's approach employs Poisson and exponential distributions to analyse waiting time data from various stages such as production, storage, packaging, and product delivery. The Kolmogorov-Smirnov test is used to assess data suitability for these distributions. This method involves data collection and statistical analysis to identify key challenges in this industry. The analysis results are expected to show significant concurrence between wait time data and both distributions. The implications include improved production planning, inventory management, and product delivery scheduling to enhance performance and customer satisfaction. The goodness-of-fit ratio for the Poisson and exponential distribution models with the Kolmogorov-Smirnov test is 0.062 and 0.057, respectively. The limitation lies in the use of only two distributions, thus future research is expected to explore other distribution approaches.

Abstract

Keamanan dan kesehatan merupakan faktor penting yang harus diperhatikan dalam berbagai hal termasuk tempat wisata untuk memastikan bahwa pengalaman yang diberikan kepada wisatawan adalah aman dan nyaman. Faktor-faktor tersebut akan menjadi hal penting dan daya tarik untuk para wisatawan. Mengingat tingginya angka kecelakaan yang terjadi di tempat wisata, Kawasan wisata religi X dianggap memerlukan evaluasi menyeluruh terkait isu tersebut. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi berbagai faktor yang berkaitan dengan keselamatan dan Kesehatan di tempat wisata religi X yang terletak di Jawa Barat serta membahas berbagai risiko kesehatan dan keselamatan yang mungkin timbul disertai dengan beberapa rekomendasi pencegahan yang dapat diterapkan oleh pengelola dan wisatawan. Untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut, dilakukan observasi langsung di lapangan serta wawancara guna memperoleh data yang relevan. Dengan demikian, diharapkan risiko yang ada dapat diminimalkan sehingga mampu menciptakan lingkungan wisata yang lebih aman dan nyaman.

Abstract

Improper workload design can have a negative effect on workers and ultimately have a direct impact on performance. Because the excessive load will affect the level of stress which results in a person's cognitive failure to be high. Practical activities in the laboratory have an important role in helping students and lecturers at the university to understand the science being studied. A laboratory assistant who is in charge of and responsible for the management of laboratories at the university so that practicum activities can take place properly. Therefore, it is necessary to conduct research on laboratory workers regarding the current level of workload and performance and the relationship between the two. The measurement results are then analyzed to get the ideal workload for laboratory workers and find out what affects performance. The method used is to provide a Cognitive Failure Questionnaire (CFQ) and Rating Scale Mental Effort (RSME). The number of respondents is 11 laboratory workers in the UNISBA Faculty of Engineering. Correlation testing on the results of the questionnaire was carried out using the Person Product Moment and Spearman Rank methods. The results obtained indicate that cognitive failure in laboratory work is influenced by the age of the laboratory assistant with a significance value of 0.024 <0.05 and a correlation coefficient of -0.672, it shows that the older the age, the lower the cognitive failure score. Then the last education level of the laboratory assistant with a significance value of 0.027 <0.05 and a correlation coefficient of 0.662 which shows the higher the level of laboratory education, the higher the cognitive failure score it produces as well. While the laboratory work experience affects the mental workload of the laboratory assistant with a significance value of 0.014 <0.05 and a correlation coefficient of -0.712 which shows that the longer the laboratory work experience the more effort for activities carried out daily produces a relatively small score.Perancangan beban kerja yang tidak baik dapat menimbulkan efek buruk pada pekerja hingga akhirnya berdampak langsung terhadap kinerja. Karena beban yang berlebih akan mempengaruhi tingkat stress yang mengakibatkan kegagalan kognitif seseorang menjadi tinggi. Kegiatan praktikum di laboratorium memiliki peran penting dalam membantu mahasiswa dan dosen pada universitas untuk memahami suatu ilmu yang sedang dipelajari. Seorang laboran yang bertugas dan bertanggung jawab terhadap pengelolaan laboratorium pada universitas agar kegiatan praktikum dapat berlangsung dengan baik. Oleh karena itu perlu dilakukan penelitian terhadap laboran mengenai tingkat beban kerja dan kinerja saat ini serta keterkaitan antar keduanya. Hasil pengukuran tersebut selanjutnya dianalisis untuk mendapatkan beban kerja yang ideal bagi laboran dan mengetahui hal yang berpengaruh terhadap kinerja. Metode yang digunakan adalah dengan memberikan kuesioner Cognitive Failure Questionnaire (CFQ) dan Rating Scale Mental Effort (RSME). Adapun jumlah responden adalah 11 tenaga laboran di lingkungan Fakultas Teknik UNISBA. Pengujian korelasi terhadap hasil kuesioner dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode Person Product Moment dan Spearman Rank. Hasil yang diperoleh menunjukkan bahwa kegagalan kognitif pada pekerjaan laboran dipengaruhi oleh usia laboran dengan nilai signifikansi 0,024 < 0,05 dan koefisien korelasi -0,672, hal tersebut menunjukkan bahwa semakin bertambahnya usia maka skor kegagalan kognitif yang dihasilkan akan semakin rendah. Kemudian tingkat pendidikan terakhir laboran dengan nilai signifikansi 0,027 < 0,05 dan koefisien korelasi 0,662 yang menunjukkan semakin tinggi tingkat Pendidikan laboran maka skor kegagalan kognitif yang dihasilkannya akan semakin tinggi juga. Sedangkan pengalaman kerja laboran berpengaruh terhadap beban kerja mental laboran dengan nilai signifikansi 0,014 < 0,05 dan koefisien korelasi -0,712 yang menunjukkan bahwa semakin lama pengalam kerja laboran makan usaha untuk aktivitas yang dilakukan sehari-hari menghasilkan skor yang relatif kecil.

Abstract

Occupational Safety and Health (K3) is an important aspect in creating a conducive work environment. There are still many potential hazards that can cause work accidents and health problems. This study aims to evaluate the implementation of the K3 system at CV. X by applying the HIRARC method and fishbone analysis to identify the most significant root causes of risk. The research method applied is a qualitative descriptive approach with data collection carried out through direct observation and interviews. Risk identification is carried out according to work activities. Furthermore, Fishbone analysis is used to identify the main causes of hazards that have a high risk level. The research findings show that the identified risk levels are in the low to moderate range, with injuries to the waist, back and finger wounds as the main risks that require immediate attention. By combining the HIRARC and fishbone methods, companies can design a more focused and systematic risk control strategy.
