Abstract

Purse seine pelagis kecil tipe lengkung merupakan alat tangkap yang banyak digunakan di PPP Bulu karena dianggap paling efektif dalam menangkap ikan pelagis kecil schoaling. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis karakteristik bentuk dan konstruksi, serta menganalisis kesesuaian teknis rasio gaya apung dan gaya tenggelam of this gear in PPP Bulu. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskripsi survei dengan simple random sampling 10 buah kapal purse seine. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi, yang selanjutnya digunakan untuk analisis karakteristik bentuk dan konstruksi, perhitungan bobot komponen, gaya apung dan gaya tenggelam. Sedangkan Analisis kesesuaian teknis rasio gaya apung dan gaya tenggelam menggunakan fungsi statistik deskriptif yang datanya disajikan secara ringkas dengan tabel. Purse seine pelagis kecil tipe lengkung di PPP Bulu menggunakan spesifikasi komponen yang berbeda-beda. Rasio gaya apung dan gaya tenggelam yang ideal adalah pada kisaran 1,5 – 2,0 kali jumlah gaya tenggelamnya. Rasio gaya apung dan gaya tenggelam dari 10 sampel menunjukkan bahwa 2 sampel memiliki rasio dibawah 1,5; sedangkan 8 sampel lainnya memiliki rasio diantara 1,5 – 2,0. Rata – rata nilai rasio gaya apung dan gaya tenggelam alat tangkap purse seine pelagis kecil tipe lengkung di PPP Bulu, Kabupaten Tuban berada pada 1,7. Small pelagic purse seine, curved type, is one of the most widely used fishing gear in Bulu, since it is considered the most effective in capturing pelagic schoaling. The purpose of this study was to analyze the characteristics of shape and construction, as well as to analyze the technical suitability of the floating force ratio and the sinking force of this gear in PPP Bulu. This research was used survey description method with simple random sampling 10 purse seiner . Data collection was done by observation, interviews, and documentation, which was then used for analysis of the characteristics of shape and construction, calculation of component weights, buoyancy and sinking forces. On the other hand, the technical suitability analysis of the ratio of buoyancy and sinking force were used descriptive statistical functions whose data are presented concisely with tables. Small pelagic purse seine, curved type, in PPP Bulu use different component specifications. The ideal buoyancy and sinking ratio is 1.5 - 2.0 times the sinking force.  The ratio of buoyancy and sinking force of ten samples showed that two samples had a ratio below 1.5; while the other eight samples had ratio between 1.5 - 2.0. The average value of the ratio of buoyancy and sinking force of a small pelagic purse seine, curved type, in PPP Bulu, Tuban Regency was 1.7.

Abstract

Bubu (Trap) adalah salah satu alat tangkap yang digunakan untuk menangkap Rajungan. Rajungan yang tertangkap dengan alat tangkap Bubu masih dalam kondisi hidup dan segar sehingga mutu hasil tangkapan terjamin. Rajungan (Portunus pelagicus) merupakan komiditas ekonomis penting perikanan, dengan harga jual yang tinggi jika dalam kondisi hidup. Funnel (pintu masuk) pada Bubu merupakan salah satu penentu keberhasilan biota (Rajungan) terjebak masuk kedalamnya. Penelitian tentang penambahan funnel ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan peluang rajungan banyak tertangkap dan menjadikan nilai efektivitas yang tinggi. Penambahan jumlah funnel sebanyak 4 buah dari yang biasanya digunakan nelayan sebanyak 2 buah diharapkan akan memperbesar peluang rajungan sebagai target tangkapan alat tangkap Bubu. Abstract

Bagan tancap merupakan suatu alat tangkap ikan yang masuk dalam kategori lift net, yang dalam pengoperasiannya, bagan tancap mengandalkan lampu sebagai atraktor untuk menarik perhatian ikan. Adanya penambahan alat bantu untuk mengumpulkan ikan di sekitar bagan tancap akan memudahkan ikan untuk berkumpul di sekitar bagan tancap ketika pada malam hari lampu dinyalakan. Dengan penggunaan alat bantu Rumpon Atraktor Cumi (RAMI) yang dipasang di sekitar alat tangkap bagan tancap (lift net), diharapkan ikan yang tertangkap oleh bagan tancap semakin banyak. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui dan menganalisis pengaruh penggunaan Rumpon Atraktor Cumi (RAMI) serta jumlah hasil tangkapan bagan tancap (lift net) di perairan Demak. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode eksperimental fishing. Materi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah bagan tancap (lift net), Rumpon Atraktor Cumi (RAMI), dengan perlakuan penambahan rumpon pada empat sisi bagan tancap (lift net). Berdasarkan pada hasil uji t dengan SPSS 16 didapatkan bahwa penggunaan rumpon diperoleh nilai t-test sebesar 4,154 dan nilai signifikasi 0,069 dengan taraf signifikasi 95%. Dan uji t dengan menggunakan rumus didapatkan nilai thitung = 4,154 > ttabel = 1,697. Sesuai dengan kaidah pengambilan keputusan bahwa nilai thitung > ttabel, maka diputuskan untuk terima H1, hal ini berarti penggunaan Rumpon Atraktor Cumi berpengaruh nyata pada hasil tangkapan bagan tancap.

Abstract

Krendet is one of the fishing gears used to catch Lobster in the South Coast of Java. Krendet is a passive fishing gear. Lobster is a fishery commodity that has high economic value. This research was conducted to determine the difference in lobster catches based on differences in fishing time and bait types on Krendet fishing gear. The method used in this research is experimental fishing with 4 treatment combinations and 6 repetitions. The difference in fishing time used was morning – afternoon and afternoon – morning, while the bait used was trash fish and no bait as a control. This research was carried out in February 2021 in the waters around the Sadeng area, Gunung Kidul. The analysis carried out in this study used the Two Way Anova Test method. The results showed that the time difference had an effect on the number of catches. The effective time to catch Lobster is at night. This can be caused by Lobster's behavior or habits which tend to be active at night. Giving bait to Krendet is also able to increase the number of catches. The trash fish bait is able to lure the Lobster to come closer to Krendet. Giving bait to Krendet is also able to increase the number of catches.
