Abstract

Physics is one of the subjects considered heavy and avoided by some students, which is very challenging, frustrating, perseverance, perseverance, thoroughness and lots of practice so that in reality, not many students like physics. This study aims to determine the differences and the relationship between students' attitudes and self-efficacy in learning science. This type of research is quantitative with a comparative type. The number of respondents used as a sample is 74 students. The data collection technique used simple random sampling. The study results using the T-test showed significant differences in students' attitudes and self-efficacy in science lessons, both female and male students in grade 8A and grade 8B. The correlation test results between students' attitudes and self-efficacy towards science subjects in grade 8A showed that the second variable (attitude and self-efficacy) was related. Moreover, the correlation test results in class 8B showed that the two variables (attitude and self-efficacy) were related. The urgency of this research is that teachers can find out the differences in attitudes and self-efficacy between male and female students. Compared to previous research, the novelty of this study is to use Attitude and self-efficacy variables, with different indicators from previous studies.

Abstract

There are still many students who have difficulty learning mathematics. It is because students feel that learning mathematics is complicated. This problem has an impact on low student learning outcomes. One way to make it easier for students to learn is to use an appropriate learning model. This study aims to compare and correlate student response variables in the student team achievement division learning model of block and cube material and student process skills. This type of research is quantitative experimental research by comparing four classes using process skills variables and student responses to student team learning outcomes. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling with a sample size of 144 students from a population of two public elementary schools and two Islamic elementary schools. The technique used to collect data is a questionnaire. The instrument used to collect data is a questionnaire. The data analysis used was quantitative with the help of SPSS 25 statistics to find descriptive statistics, test assumptions, and test hypotheses. Based on the t-test, it is known that there are significant differences in students' process skills in each school and student responses to the Student team achievement division learning model on the volume of blocks and cubes in each school. Based on the correlation test, there is a relationship between students' process skills on student responses with the student learning model of team achievement division on the material of volume of blocks and cubes between schools.

Abstract

Abstract Effective learning can be increased by forming several groups that have diversity in abilities, gender, and ethnicity. So this research was conducted with the aim of knowing the relationship between students' process skills on student responses to the Student Team Achievement Division (STAD). learning model for the volume of blocks and cubes. This research is a survey research, this study uses quantitative data analysis with the help of SPSS statistics 25, to find descriptive statistics, test assumptions and test hypotheses. The results obtained from this study were conducted in 4 schools, namely 2 SD and 2 MI with 36 students in each class. So the total number of students is 144 students. Based on the T test, the results showed that there were significant differences in students' process skills in students' responses to the Student Team Achievement Division (STAD). learning model for the volume of blocks and cubes between schools. Based on the correlation test, it was concluded that there was a relationship between students' process skills on student responses with the Student Team Achievement Division (STAD). learning model for the inter-school volume of blocks and cubes. the writer gives suggestions, namely the implementation of the Student Team Achievement Division (STAD) cooperative learning model as an effort to improve Student Process Skills.

Abstract

The urgency of this research is that it is expected to be a reference for teachers to find out the interests and attitudes of students at the state junior high school or madrasah tsanawiyah level on the respiratory system material. This study aims to determine how the relationship between interests and attitudes of students at a state junior high school  and a state madrasah tsanawiyah in Batanghari on the respiratory system material. The instrument used was a questionnaire which was distributed to students using descriptive quantitative methods. The data analysis technique used is descriptive statistics and inferential statistics, using normality, homogeneity, and regression tests. In the study, it was found that there was a significant relationship between the variables of interest in learning and the attitudes of students in learning the respiratory system material for both students. This is indicated by the table of regression test results, which shows that the B value is positive, other evidence is also shown from the t-count value which is larger and has a positive value compared to the t-table value which indicates the interest variable has a relationship with the attitude variable. Therefore, it is very important to develop students' interest in the respiratory system material in order to improve students' learning attitudes, so that it can help improve their learning outcomes.
