Abstract

This research was conducted to create a school intranet system that can be used to support the teaching and learning process. Data collection was conducted by observation, interview and literature study in order to get the system requirement. Problems that exist in SMK Negeri 1 Kepahiang is the absence of adequate internet connection that can be used by students or teachers to conduct information search related to teaching and learning process. In addition there is no alternative system that can be used to support teaching and learning process in lieu of the internet, such as Blog, File Sharing and CBT. In this research the authors implement open source software to build a school intranet system that contains CMS, Blog, File Sharing and Computer Based test (CBT) so that the cost is very affordable. Based on the results of system implementation and testing it can be concluded that intranet systems built using open source software can be accessed on a client-server basis, user authentication runs as expected and CMS, Blog, File Sharing and CBT applications can run well. But still requires a better server specification so that its ability to serve many users will also be better. Keywords: intranet, open source, cms

Abstract

ABSTRAKPerkembangan dunia teknologi sangat pesat, sehingga mengubah sudut pandang manusia dalam berkomunikasi dampak dari perkembangan teknologi tersebut adalah terciptanya aplikasi chatting, yang memungkinkan manusia untuk melakukan pertukaran informasi melalui jaringan internet secara langsung dan instan. Dalam melakukan pertukaran informasi manusia membutuhkan sebuah fitur yang bisa menjamin informasi yang ia pertukarkan agar tidak bisa dibaca oleh orang-orang yang tidak memiliki wewenang. Salah satu cara melakukan pengamanan data adalah dengan menkripsi pesan tersebut. Enkripsi dilakukan untuk merubah teks biasa (plaintext) menjadi teks yang tidak bisa dibaca dan difahami oleh manusia makna pesan tersebut (ciphertext). Maka diterapkan salah satu algoritma enkripsi yaitu Algoritma Caesar cipher. Pengujian dilakukan pada dua perangakat smart phone dan personal computer dalam suatu jaringan wifi, hasil pengujian sistem yang dibangun menujukan aplikasi chatting dapat melakukan pengamanan pesan. ABSTRACTThe Development of technological world is very rapid, it changes the point of view of humans in communication, the impact of the development of these technologies is the creation of chat applications, which enable humans to exchange information through the internet network directly and instantly. In exchanging human information requires a feature that can guarantee the information so that it cannot be read by people who do not have the authority. One way to safeguard data is to encrypt the message. Encryption is done to change plain text (plaintext) into text that cannot be read and understood by humans the meaning of the message (ciphertext). Then applied one encryption algorithm, the Caesar cipher algorithm. Tests carried out on two smart phone devices and personal computers in a Wi-Fi network, the results of testing the system that was built showed the chat application can do security.

Abstract

Game is one of the major industries in the world today. The development of the game at this time is very fast with a variety of types, ranging from games that can only be played by one person only to be played by several people at once. Flash is a powerful program to create gaming applications, both for desktop (computer) and mobile phones. In a computer or other devices would not be complete if it did not have the game. Making games can be done in various ways. In making a game using flash then the process of drawing the characters, backgrounds, sound effects and animation support can be done with this software. In the manufacture of pet care for this game, the elements used in the form of characters, back-grounds and other elements is to use the tools that are available in flash and can also prepare the music and sound effects. Elements that have been compiled and made then arranged in scenes, layers and frames in accordance with what was designed. In flash action script to set also contained the elements of caring pet in this game so that it becomes more interesting to play.Key words: Flash, Game Play.

Abstract

In an effort to improve service quality, a service satisfaction survey system will be developed by displaying and analyzing data in the form of a questionnaire. Where in this development a computational survey method is implemented, namely the Servqual method which can provide convenience in collecting and analyzing survey questionnaire data. The application of the Community Satisfaction Survey (SKM) to the Services of the Bengkulu Province General Bureau, Public Relations and Protocol was made using the Visual Basic .Net programming language and SQL Server database. This application has applied a method, namely the Servqual Method, where the results of the community satisfaction assessment will be reprocessed to determine the level of community satisfaction with the services provided. The assessment process is divided based on the sections/units in the Bengkulu Province General Bureau, Public Relations and Protocol. The resulting output is in the form of a graph, where if the servqual value is the highest, it can be said that these attributes need to be evaluated for improvement / or in the future to improve the quality of services at the Bengkulu Province General Bureau, Public Relations and Protocol. Based on the tests that have been carried out, it can be concluded that the functionality of the Public Satisfaction Survey (SKM) Application for the Services of the Bengkulu Province General Bureau, Public Relations and Protocol has been running as expected.

Abstract

This study aims to build an internet-based Wireless LAN (WLAN) at the Rawa Makmur Permai Urban Village Office, implement bandwidth and firewall management as a security system on the WLAN network, and observe the use of internet-based WLAN networks at the Rawa Makmur Permai Urban Village Office.This study uses the Development Life Cyle (NDLC) method which is a method that can be used in the network development process that allows network monitoring to determine network statistics and performance. The results of the performance analysis will later be taken into consideration in the design of network designs, both physical network designs or logical networks. The results of this study indicate that a WLAN network using a MikroTik router and implementing bandwidth management, firewalls and captive portals can optimize network usage, because by implementing bandwidth management it can distribute bandwidth evenly to clients according to their network access needs, the firewall itself can be used as a site access filtering system which in this study the author can apply to block the youtube.com site and make it a captive portal access.

Abstract

Jhon Motor is a workshop engaged in the sale of spare parts and also service. So far, the service system at Jhon Motor is still done manually, by means of consumers coming directly to the service area or calling Customer Service to set a booking service schedule. However, the problem that often occurs is when the service schedule is full or full, consumers who come directly cannot do service on the same day because they have to reschedule for service. In addition, there are some consumers who cannot contact Customer Service, because of the many incoming calls to make a booking service. The Booking Service application at Jhon Motor is made using the PHP and Java programming languages, with a MySQL database. The software used for making the application is Adobe Dreamweaver CC 2019, Android Studio, and XAMPP. The Booking Service application at Jhon Motor is a medium or container that can be used to assist the booking service process at Jhon Motor, which is still done conventionally. The Booking Service application at Jhon Motor has 2 interfaces, namely web-based (accessed by the Jhon Motor administrator) and Android-based (accessed by consumers who want to book service). The Booking Service application at Jhon Motor also has 1 (one) database server, so that whatever is processed in a web-based application, the information on the Android application automatically changes. Based on the results of tests carried out both offline and online, web-based applications can process data properly and smoothly, and Android-based applications successfully display service fee information and can make booking services.

Abstract

In communication technology, voice communication is something that will be a very important part, because currently voice communication is considered the most practical communication. Bhayangkara Bengkulu Hospital is one of the Government Hospitals engaged in the health sector in Bengkulu Province. So far in communicating, Bhayangkara Bengkulu Hospital is still simple and communication media is still limited. Communication media between officers still uses HT and HP, because only a few rooms use telephones. The purpose of this research is to build a VoIP network at Bhayangkara Bengkulu Hospital so that it can facilitate communication at Bhayangkara Bengkulu Hospital. VoIP implementation at Bhayangkara Bengkulu Hospital is made using Mikrotik RB951 and Trixbox which is placed on a computer that will be used as a server. The Zoiper application is installed on each computer in each treatment room and other agencies. The functionality of this VoIP network makes it easier and can help the Bhayangkara Bengkulu Hospital in communicating. This system has been tested and the results are satisfactory as desired, although there are still obstacles in the practice of using it

Abstract

Computer security is an important factor in the world of information technology. Computer network security is currently starting to be in great demand by many people. If viewed from the negative side, there will be more types of intrusion or attacks that can be carried out in a network. The aim of this research is the need for network security monitoring to find out disturbances or threats that occur in a network to minimize intrusion. And the results obtained from this research are wireshark and windump software is able to monitoring attacks on a network and software that is able to analyze in more detail is wireshark while windump for further analysis requires experts to get better results.

Abstract

Cooking is an activity carried out by a person by processing food ingredients through the process of applying heat with a specific purpose. In cooking, there are slight differences in the amount of ingredients and seasonings and how they are processed, so a recipe is needed to be used as a reference in cooking. Recipes are measurements used to process food ingredients that have been tested for accuracy. SMK Negeri 3 Bengkulu is one of the Vocational High Schools in Bengkulu City. In the culinary department, students who want to cook still use recipe books (manuals). The main problem in this research is how to assist students in finding information about recipes, so we need a software that can be used in the selection of recipes using the Case Based Reasoning method and Web applications to find recipes that match the food ingredients owned by the user. From the results of the tests carried out the Case Based Reasoning method can be used as a solution in the use of applications to determine the recipe for this food ingredient. In its application, this method can provide a percentage of the level of similarity in searching for a recipe. So that users, especially students of SMKN 3 Bengkulu City, especially in the culinary department, can make this application as a solution for cooking a food recipe with existing ingredients. Based on the system testing carried out, it can be concluded that this application is in accordance with the design and can provide convenience for users to search.

Abstract

Peranan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi merupakan unsur terpenting dalam aktivitas manusia. Terbukti dalam berbagai sektor kehidupan, teknologi informasi telah memberikan perubahan yang sangat besar dan memberikan kontribusi fasilitas utama dalam perubahan sektor kehidupan manusia dan dalam mengubah pola pikir manusia. Hal ini juga terjadi dalam dunia pendidikan dan menjadi tantangan tersendiri mengingat revolusi sistem pembelajaran ini akan berdampak pada peserta didik. Dari hasil observasi diperoleh informasi bahwa dalam menghadapi revolusi 4.0 perlu adanya kesiapan generasi milenial dalam menghadapi perubahan tersebut. Mengingat pentingnya kesiapan generasi milenial khususnya siswa SMK N 02 Bengkulu Tengah dalam menghadapi revolusi industri 4.0, maka perlu diberikan pengetahuan dan pemahaman kepada siswa SMK N 02 Bengkulu Tengah tentang perkembangan teknologi di era revolusi industri. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pengetahuan dan pemahaman mengenai perkembangan teknologi informasi di era revolusi 4.0 saat ini. Kegiatan dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode ceramah berupa kegiatan penyuluhan. Berdasarkan hasil evaluasi bahwa kegiatan pengabdian ini memberikan pengetahuan baru bagi peserta dalam memahami perkembangan teknologi informasi di era revolusi industri.
