Abstract

Asthma occurs due to inflammation of the respiratory tract that causes sufferers to experience shortness of breath and wheezing. Asthma symptoms can appear due to the influence of infection, pollution, or allergies. Asthma is a type of disease that causes symptoms of narrowing and inflammation of the respiratory tract resulting in shortness of breath or difficulty breathing. Asthma can be caused by several things, namely dust, smoke, animal fur, cold air, physical activity, etc. Asthma is classified into 3 types, namely mild asthma, moderate asthma, and severe asthma. This expert system in diagnosing asthma is used to facilitate patient consultation, where the patient enters some of the symptoms he is experiencing and the system will diagnose these symptoms to determine whether asthma is classified as mild asthma, moderate asthma, or high grade asthma. In assisting the diagnosis, this expert system has applied Certainty Factor Method by proving a fact with a certainty value against that fact. The advantage of the CF method is that it can measure something that is certain or uncertain in decision making in disease diagnosis expert systems. Expert system in diagnosing asthma is made using Visual Basic.Net Programming Language with SQL database. With this expert system, it can help diagnose asthma suffered by patients based on the symptoms felt by the patient and provide solutions to deal with the disease suffered by a patient. Based on the tests that have been carried out, the functionality of the expert system application in diagnosing asthma is running as expected, and the application is able to display the results of the disease diagnosis from the symptoms selected by the patient.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mendesain Fuzzy Clustering menggunakan algoritma C-Means dan algoritma Mixture dalam penclusteran data curah hujan Kota Bengkulu, membandingkan algoritma C-Means dan Algoritma Mixture dalam emnghasilkan performasi algoritma C-Means dan lagoritma Mixture dalam menghasilkan tingkat keakuratan lokasi perkiraan curah hujan bulanan stasiun Klimatologi Pulau Baii Bengkulu. Data curah hujan Kota Bengkulu dianalisis menggunakan algoritma software matlab. Dari hasil pengujian menggunakan software matlab dibantu menggunakan software SOCR diperoleh hasil pengujian dengan menggunakan  Fuzzy C-Means karena pengelompokkan datanya berdasarkan dengan derajat keanggotaan sehingga pusat cluster yang diahsilkan dalam mencapai fungsi sasaran mencari solusi terbaik untuk cluster-cluster dapat dilakukan lebih cepat ditunjukkan dengan proses pengehentian iterasi. Output dari fuzzy C-means bukan merupakan Fuzzy Inference System, namun merupakan deretan cluster dan beebrapa derajat keanggotaan untuk tiap tiap titik data. Informasi ini dapat digunakan untuk membangun suatu fuzzy inference system.

Abstract

Performance is a very important factor in determining success in assessing work quality. Good performance is the hope of all parties in an institution, including agricultural institutions. The Sukaraja Agricultural Extension Service Technical Unit (UPT BPP) always supports to improve the performance of extension workers in order to improve the quality of extension workers. Evaluation of broadcasting performance is carried out from the beginning of the activities carried out, starting from the preparation, implementation, evaluation and reporting. Evaluation of instructor performance at UPT BPP Sukaraja is carried out every three months and six months. So far, the evaluation is done manually, so it does not need to be done in a timely manner because of constrained inadequate labor. The method used in the evaluation study is the use of agricultural instructors using the Bayes method. The Bayes method is first performed by calculating the value of each criterion, total weighting, probability perriterian, calculating the total probability, calculating the threshold of each criterion and calculating the threshold value then comparing the total value with the threshold value of each criterion. The results of this method produce a good agriculture instructor ranking ranking, namely with initial Sdn with a total value of probability 31.38 and those requiring guidance are extension agents with Sjn and Dsm with a total probability of 24.13, and a total probability of 24.

Abstract

Dalam meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan kepada mahasiswa perguruan tinggi secara terus menerus berupaya meningkatkan pelayanan guna memenuhi kepuasan mahasiswa. Universitas berkomitmen untuk memberikan pelayanan yang baik kepada mahasiswa. Hal ini dilakukan untuk memenuhi harapan mahasiswa terkait pelayanan yang menjadi hak mahasiswa. Dengan cara ini, pihak Universitas berharap mendapatkan hal-hal yang perlu dievaluasi sesuai dengan tolak ukur yang telah ditetapkan oleh pihak universitas. Pentingnya melihat penilaian mahasiswa merupakan salah satu faktor utama bagi perguruan tinggi untuk meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan yang diberikan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Pieces untuk mengukur baik buruknya nilai variabel yang diterapkan dalam kualitas pelayanan dengan variabel (Performance, Information, Economics, Control and Security, Efficiency dan Service). Tujuannya untuk mengetahui tingkat kepuasan mahasiswa terhadap pelayanan yang diberikan oleh Univeritas di bidang keuangan. Hasil dari penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa metode PIECES sangat efektif karena menganalisa sistem pervariabel sehingga layanan dapat dievaluasi lebih detail. Berdasarkan hasil rekapitulasi penilaian terlihat keseluruhan variabel memperoleh nilai akhir3,8, ini menunjukan seluruh variabel PIECES mendapat kategori penilaian puas, sehingga bisa dikatakan loyalitas layanan berperan dengan baik dalam meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan. Dengan adanya analisis ini diharapkan dapat memberikan gambaran pada universitas dalam melihat nilai setiap bidang layanan dalam memberikan pelayanan berdasarkan indikator performance, indikator information, indikator economis, indikator control, indikator efficiency dan indikator services.

Abstract

This study aims to measure the quality of service of agricultural extension workers at the UPT. BPP Sukaraja uses the fuzzy service quality (servqual) method by grouping question attributes into five service dimensions criteria, namely the dimensions of tangibles (direct evidence), reliability (responsibility), responsiveness, assurance, and empathy. The study showed that the value of the gap that requires the priority of improvement and improvement in service quality is the dimension of Tangibles with a negative gap value of -0.45 that means that the expectations of farmers are still not achieved. The customer satisfaction index is 87.93%, which means farmers are satisfied with the services provided. The study can be a motivation to improve the quality of service to farmers for UPT BPP Sukaraja.

Abstract

Student satisfaction towards services is a priority for each tertiary institution to improve the quality that is demanded by students. To improve the quality of education, universities must provide services provided to students. Dehasen University (Unified) Bengkulu promised to improve the quality standards of education and continue to improve and improve dissatisfaction in meeting student expectations. This is done to improve the quality standards of education and meet student expectations related to services that are the rights of students. By understanding the level of satisfaction of students, universities can improve performance in carrying out their duties and take responsibility for the quality of education, thus increasing the quality of services that can be improved. This study uses Bayes study, which is a classification method using probability and statistical methods based on the Bayes theorem. The aim is to implement Bayes to support student satisfaction with universities that support the following fields: Student Affairs, Library, Academic and Student Administration Bureau (BAAK), Facilities and infrastructure and finance. The results of this method produce Administrative and Academic Bureau services and financial services obtain Very Good satisfaction levels with a total service value of 12,183 with an excellent threshold value of 12,042 and a total service value of 9,413 with an excellent threshold value of 9,375. And the level of student satisfaction with the level of service is good, because the total value of results is 49,769 while the threshold is very good is 50,001 this means the total results below the threshold value is very good.

Abstract

The recruitment process requires a professional and accurate way to produce human resources that can support the quality and successful of organization. The recruitment of new employees is an activity carried out at CV. Ria Printing when it requires additional workers or changes in workforce. So far, the new employee selection system is still done manually by looking at the highest score from prospective employees which usually lasts a long time, because the organization or company must first check and select the criteria and requirements that are completed by prospective employees carefully. In this situation, in selecting new employee, a decision support system is needed so that employee recruitment can be carried out more accurately. One method that can be applied in the desicion support system in determining new employees is Preference Selection Index Method. This method is useful for solving multi-criteria decision making, there is no need to assign relative importance between attributes and there is no need for computing attribute weights involved in decision making. The results obtained are based on the highest value in the application of Preference Selection Index using sample data of 10 people, so that 1st rank is Bella Grace with score of 0.96, 2nd rank is Adella Fitriansyah with score of 0.88 and third rank is Aedi Dicerita with score of 0.76. From the results of the high assessment, it can make it easier for the recipient of CV. Ria Printing KM 6.5 in making decisions to determine new employees.

Abstract

Pemilihan dosen terbaik dilakukan setiap akhir tahun akademik oleh Universitas Dehasen (UNIVED) Bengkulu. Kegiatan tersebut bertujuan untuk memberikan penghargaan/pengakuan atas capaian kinerja dosen dalam melaksanakan Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi. Penghargaan yang diberikan ini diharapkan dapat memberikan motivasi yang kuat bagi dosen dalam meningkatkan kualitas  yang tentunya akan berimplikasi pada peningkatan mutu lulusan. Kriteria yang ditetapkan dalam  pemilihan dosen terbaik ini terdiri dari 16 kriteria yang meliputi; kegiatan Pendidikan dan Pengajaran, Penelitian, Pengabdian dan  Kegiatan Penunjang yang  dilakukan oleh dosen dalam satu tahun akademik. Untuk dapat memilih dosen terbaik secara objektif berdasarkan multi kriteria yang ditetapkan maka digunakan metode SMART. Penggunaan metode SMART disebabkan karena metode ini merupakan teknik pengambilan keputusan multi kriteria, dimana setiap alternatif terdiri dari sejumlah kriteria yang memiliki nilai-nilai dan memiliki bobot yang menggambarkan seberapa penting dibandingkan dengan kriteria lain. Hasil penelitian ini dapat menentukan dosen terbaik berdasarkan hasil perangkingan, hasil perhitungan tahap akhir dalam metode SMART  ini bahwa dosen A2 yang memperoleh nilai total akhir  tertinggi sebesar 0.81. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat membantu mempermudah bagi pengambil keputusan dalam pemilihan dosen berprestasi secara objektif berdasarkan kriteria yang sudah ditetapkan.

Abstract

CAPACITY BUILDING AND FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT OF THE KERUPUK BALOK INDUSTRY THROUGH A COMMUNITY PARTNERSHIP PROGRAM IN BUKIT PENINJAUAN II VILLAGE, SUKARAJA DISTRICT, SELUMA DISTRICT, BENGKULU. Bukit Peninjau II Village, Sukaraja Subdistrict, Seluma Regency, has very good potential for the development of small industries, especially home industries in the food sector. One of the small industries in Bukit Peninjauan II Village is the block cracker processing industry which was started in 1995 and currently has 8 business units, including the Usaha Maju and the Raos Echo Community. The team together with partners agreed on several issues faced by partners, including the lack of knowledge (soft skills) and skills mastered by partners regarding product diversification technology, packaging techniques, production equipment and knowledge about financial management. The aim of the Community Partnership Program is to improve partners' skills in the field of product diversification, improvement of packaging and labeling techniques, application of drying system mechanization technology, and increasing partner knowledge in the field of financial management of small industries. The results of the activity show that the product of processed cracker diversification has been formed in the Usaha Maju and the Raos Echo Community, with 3 variants namely original, spinach and carrots crackers. Furthermore, improvements have also been made to the quality of packaging and labeling, through training and providing assistance with labeling equipment. To overcome the problem of drying which has so far been using sunlight, the team provided cabinet drying assistance to the two partners.

Abstract

Desa Bukit Peninjauan I merupakan salah satu desa yang terletak di wilayah Kecamatan Sukaraja Kabupaten Seluma Provinsi Bengkulu dengan pertumbuhan perekonomian yang sedang. Profesi masyarakat rata rata sebagai petani, buruh tani dan buruh bangunan, sehingga tingkat kesejahteraan masyarakat relatif sedang. Ini mengakibatkan banyak anak-anak yang putus sekolah, umumnya hanya mampu menempuh pendidikan sampai jenjang SMP yang disebab kurangnya kesadaran masyarakat untuk menempuh pendidikan yang lebih tinggi. Telah dilaksanakan kegiatan Program Kemitraan Masyarakat dalam upaya pemberdayaan pemuda rentan/anak-anak putus sekolah guna mengurangi jumlah penganguran yang tidak memiliki ketrampilan yang bertujuan terbentuknya kelompok pemuda rentan yang memiliki ketrampilan dalam bidang multimedia. Serta meningkatnya pengetahuan dan ketrampilan anggota kelompok pemuda rentan tentang pemanfaatan komputer. Hasil yang telah dicapai dalam kegiatan Program Kemitraan ini adalah telah terbentuknya usaha kecil di bidang jasa percetakan dan photografi yang dikelola oleh kelompok pemuda rentan/anak putus sekolah yang dikoordinir karang taruna di Desa Bukit Peninjauan I dengan nama usaha “Barrokah Mandiri dan Barrokah Berdikari”. Kegiatan kemitraan ini dilakukan dengan melalui pemberian pelatihan secara teknis ketrampilan komputer, magang/pendampingan, manajemen usaha dan memberikan bantuan alat penunjang
