Abstract

The people in TNS sub-district are the evacuation areas of 16 villages from the Teon Nila Serua Island, where each household is given an area of two hectares or 20.000 m2 to be managed into agricultural land and settlements. The total area of TNS sub-district is 24.208 km2 with a population of 14,354 people, and area of idle land is 290 hectares. The problem of this research is what factors affect the use of idle land in TNS District, Central Maluku. The method used in data collection is interview and questionnaire which are given to productive farmers during the Covid-19 pandemic as interviewee, while the data analysis method using multiple linear regression with the results obtained. The dummy variables of farmer profession, capital, technology and the dummy of the division of labor have a positive effect on the use of idle land during the Covid 19 pandemic, in TNS sub-district, Central Maluku. Beside that, the use of idle land and production yields is increased from before.

Abstract

Central Maluku is an agrarian area which has an abundance of agricultural commodities, especially the plantation sub-sector which is a trading activity in Maluku. one of the sub-sectors is coconut plantations. Coconut (CocosNucifera) is a plantation crop that is widespread in almost all regions of Indonesia. Generally, coconut plants are produced into copra which will later be used as raw materials in making coconut cooking oil. The great potential of coconut in the Sub-District of TNS (TeonNilaSerua), opens opportunities for its citizens to develop small businesses in the middle of processing virgin coconut oil (VCO). In fact, VCO produced by the community in Layeni village, Jerili village and Yafila village, is able to penetrate the consumer market even though the VCO oil production results are not widely known and known by the people of Maluku as a whole about the benefits and benefits of CVO oil produced by small business groups in TNS area.VCO production results are not too well known by consumers in the area of order. "The results of the VCO production of small businesses are marketed to the cities of Ambon, Masohi and the surrounding cities, even outside the city of Ambon, if there are advance orders to the producers. The purpose of this research is to find out the relationship between the factors that affect the production of small oil VCO industrinwaipiah coconut. The research was carried out by means of observation and interviews and conducting VCO oil production experiments. The observations are recorded, observed and analyzed using multiple regression analysis. The results obtained are the multiple regression equation is as follows: Y = 4,936 +, 063X1 +, 005X2 + (-, 522) X3 + (-, 0.49) X4. X1 = 0,000 Sig <0.05 or t arithmetic 9,928> t table 2,365, then H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted, X2 = 0.075> 0.05 or 2,086 <t table 2,365 then H0 is accepted and H1 is rejected, X3 = 0.028 <0 , 05 or t arithmetic -1.387 <t table 2.365 then H0 is accepted and H1 is rejected, X4 = 0.409 <0.05 or t arithmetic -0.887> t table 2.365 thus H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. The raw material X1 sig 0,000 <0.05 has an impact on VCO oil production. Capital X2 sig value 0.75> 0.05 no impact on VCO oil production, Labor X3 sig value 0.208 <0.05 impact on VCO oil production, Entrepreneurship X4 sig value 0.409 <0.05 impact on VCO oil production value. Keywords: Raw materials, capital, labor, entrepreneurship in coconut oil production VCO coconut waipia TNS

Abstract

The unsignalized intersection on the Jln. Clove Gardens, Jln. Jendral Sudirman, and Jln. Galunggung is an asymmetrical intersection which is currently experiencing problems. This intersection is the only connecting road from within the city to outside the city, or vice versa and is the main link where vehicles meet from the clove garden road, Jendral Sudirman road and Galunggung road sections. This intersection has a busy traffic activity where you can see many types of vehicles ranging from motorcycles, light vehicles, heavy vehicles to pedestrians passing through the intersection. And there are activities at the intersection approach such as public transportation that stops to raise or lower passengers and vehicles that enter and leave beside the road from the environment around the intersection. The purpose of this research is to overcome traffic flow conflicts at the unsignalized intersection, this research takes place at the unsignalized intersection Jln. Clove Gardens, Jln. Jendral Sudirman, and Jln. Galunggung Ambon City, using primary data and secondary data, as well as data sources obtained from survey results, and analysis method used PKJI 1997 analysis. The results obtained are traffic performance at the unsignalized intersection of Jln. Clove Gardens, Jln. Jendral Sudirman, and Jln. Galunggung got the highest density level on Saturday, September 4, 2021 with a value of Capacity (C) = 2275 pcu/hour, traffic flow (Q) = 4879 pcu/hour, and Degree of Saturation (DS) > 2,14 in 17 time period: 00 – 18:00. The speed of light vehicles that pass Jln. Jenderal Sudirman is 9.05 km/hour which occurs in the period 17:00 – 18:00.Keywords: unsignalized intersection, hotel santika road
