Abstract

This research is about the analysis of the values of intelligent character of FKIP UR Pekanbarustudents. The values of intelligent characters to be studied are the values of intelligent charactersaccording to Prayitno & Afriva Khaidir (2011). The purpose of this study is 1) To determine thepercentage of the practice of the values of intelligent character students FKIP Umiversitas RiauPekanbaru, 2) To determine the percentage of students’ smart character values in each departmentin FKIP University of Riau Pekanbaru, 3) To find out the percentage of practice values intelligentdimensionalcharacter of students in each department in FKIP University of Riau Pekanbaru.This research uses descriptive method, the data collected is about the values of intelligentcharacters through intelligent character scale instruments. The results of this study revealed thatthe percentage of students’ values of intelligent character FKIP University of Riau Pekanbaruwas 75.95%, which is in the good category, the lowest character value is the dimension of faithand piety (72.36%) on the indicator of belief in God Almighty, while the highest is the toughdimension (78.91%). Based on the findings of this study, the researchers recommend that theuniversity in this case FKIP UR Pekanbaru in order to compile a curriculum based on the valuesof intelligent character of students, and the lecturers are expected to develop learning based onthe values of intelligent characters. Penelitian ini mengenai analisis nilai-nilai karakter cerdas mahasiswa FKIP UR Pekanbaru.Nilai-nilai karakter cerdas yang akan diteliti adalah nilai-nilai karakter cerdas menurut Prayitno &Afriva Khaidir (2011). Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah 1) Untuk mengetahui persentasepengamalan nilai-nilai karakter cerdas mahasiswa FKIP Umiversitas Riau Pekanbaru, 2) Untukmengetahui persentase pengamalan nilai-nilai karakter cerdas mahasiswa pada setiap jurusandi FKIP Universitas Riau Pekanbaru, 3) Untuk mengetahui persentase pengamalan nilai karaktercerdasper-dimensi mahasiswa pada setiap jurusan di FKIP Universitas Riau Pekanbaru .Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif, data yang dikumpulkan adalah tentang nilai-nilaikarakter cerdas melalui instrumen skala nilai-nilai karakter cerdas. Hasil penelitian inimengungkapkan bahwa persentase pengamalan nilai-nilai karakter cerdas mahasiswa FKIPUniversitas Riau Pekanbaru adalah 75,95%, yaitu berada pada kategori baik, nilai karakter yangterendah adalah dimensi beriman dan bertaqwa (72,36%) pada indikator keyakinan pada TuhanYang Maha Esa, sedangkan yang tertinggi adalah dimensi tangguh (78,91%). Berdasarkan temuanpenelitian ini, maka peneliti merekomendasikan pada pihak perguruan tinggi dalam hal ini FKIPUR Pekanbaru agar menyusun kurikulum yang berbasis nilai-nilai karakter cerdas mahasiswa,serta pihak dosen diharapkan mengembangkan pembelajaran yang berbasis nilai-nilai karaktercerdas.

Abstract

: This study aims to determine the description and differences in fighting power and achieve- ment motivation of Junior High School in terms of their parents' income. This research uses quantitative methods with a comparative study. Data collection was carried out by means of a questionnaire to 164 students of   junior high school. The results of this study indicate that the level of fighting power of stu- dents is mostly at a high level of fighting power of 50.6%. In addition, it was also found that the level of student achievement motivation was mostly at the high achievement motivation level of 45.1%. The re- sults of the unpaired t test show that there is a significant difference in the fighting power of students and the achievement motivation of students whose parents have high income and those who have low income during online learning during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Abstract

Tracer study is one of the studies that need to be done regularly to find out therelevance level between academic programs organized by an educational institution (study program) with the needs on the field, in the end will be a reference to the study program to create competitive advantage through the opinion of the alumni. This research uses a quantitative descriptive method. The Sampling method used purposive sampling method. In this, research will be seen completed the alumni career that includes alumni who go on education, the reason for continuing education alumni, alumni cumulative achievement index, waiting time to work, alumni satisfaction, and suitability between the field of education and employment. Tracer study results produce a number of conclusions and implementation suggestions that are very useful for improving the learning.
