Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kesalahan sintaksis pada teks tanggapan siswa kelas IX SMP Negeri 2 Binjai. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif. Data penelitian diperoleh dari teks tanggapan siswa kelas IX SMP Negeri 2 Binjai. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis isi teks tanggapan siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat 4 jenis kesalahan dalam penulisan teks tanggapan siswa, yaitu kesalahan penggunaann kata, frasa, klausa, dan kalimat pada teks tanggapan sisw kelas IX-3 SMP Negeri 2 Binjai. Masih terdapat banyak kesalahan penggunaan kata, frasa, klausa, dan kalimat dalam penulisan teks tanggapan siswa. Kesalahan ini disebabkan oleh penguasaan gramatikal yang rendah dan interferensi bahasa.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the cooperative learning model of the Learning Cycle type on the ability to write persuasive texts in class VIII students of SMP Negeri 8 Medan in the 2022/2023 Academic Year. The population in this study were all Grade VIII students of SMP Negeri 8 Medan for the 2022/2023 academic year with a total of 304 students. Of the 304 students, the sample size was 30 students. The research method used in this research is the one-group pre-test post-test design experimental method. The instrument used in this study is a description test. Hypothesis testing was carried out using the data "t" test and it was found that the ability to write persuasive texts of students before using the Learning Cycle learning model was included in the sufficient category with an average value (mean) of 53.83, while the ability to write persuasive texts of students after using the model Learning Cycle learning increased with an average value (mean) of 81.16. Furthermore, the hypothesis test shows that tcount > ttable, which is equal to 13.14 > 2.045, it is concluded that the null hypothesis (H0) is rejected and the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted. This shows that there is an effect of the Learning Cycle learning model on the ability to write persuasive texts in class VIII students of SMP Negeri 8 Medan in the 2022/2023 academic year.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze whether there is an effect of using the Brainwriting model assisted by the short film media bullying "Rapuh" on the ability to write response texts of class VII students of SMP Negeri 2 Percut Sei Tuan. The population in this study were students of class VII of SMP Negeri 2 Percut Sei Tuan with a sample size of 34 students in the first class and 34 students in the second class. The instruments used in this study were context, description, assessment, responses agreeing to opinions, responses rejecting opinions and responses to suggestions. The method used in this study was the Two Group Posttest design. The data analysis technique used the analysis prerequisite test, namely the normality test, homogeneity test, and hypothesis test. The results of the study in the control class obtained an average value of 64.62 and was categorized as sufficient. Meanwhile, the results of the experimental class research obtained an average value of 86.38 and included in the Very Good category. through hypothesis testing, namely t table count, namely 10.705 > 1.69092, it can be concluded that there is a significant influence of the use of the Brainwriting model assisted by the short film media bullying "Rapuh" on the ability to write review texts of class VII students of SMP Negeri 2 Percut Sei Tuan.
