Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan jenis gaya bahasa yang terdapat dalam lirik lagu marga Batak Toba keturunan “Tuan Sorba Dibanua”, serta untuk mendeskripsikan pesan moral yang terdapat dalam lirik lagu marga Batak Toba keturunan “Tuan Sorba Dibanua”. Di analisis dengan teori Gorys Keraf untuk membahas gaya bahasa yang terdapat dalam lirik lagu marga Batak keturunan Tuan Sorba Dibanua, dan teori Burhan Nurgiyantoro untuk membahas pesan moral yang terdapat dalam lirik lagu marga Batak keturunan Tuan Sorba Dibanua. Jenis penelitian yang dipakai adalah penelitian kualitatif yang bersifat deskriptif yang menggambarkan atau melukiskan gejala dan fakta secara sistematis. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan untuk memperoleh data yaitu dengan teknik dokumentasi, teknik simak, dan teknik catat. Teknik ini digunakan agar memperoleh data secara detail dan akurat. Dari hasil penelitian Analisis Gaya Bahasa Dan Pesan Moral Dalam Lirik Lagu Marga Batak Keturunan Tuan Sorba Dibanua terdapat gaya bahasa berdasarkan struktur kalimat; klimaks 5, antiklimaks 5, antitesis 5, dan repetisi 13, berdasarkan langsung tidaknya makna terbagi kedalam dua jenis, (a). Retoris antara lain: aliterasi 8, asonansi 24, apostrof  7, asindeton 9, tautologi 4, dan hiperbola 6; (b). Kiasan antara lain: persamaan atau simile 4, metafora 3, sinekdoke pars pro toto 1, sinekdoke totem to parte 2, dan antonomasia 3. Diantara gaya bahasa yang terdapat dalam lirik lagu marga Batak Toba keturunan Tuan Sorba Dibanua terdapat beberapa gaya bahasa yang dominan di dalam lirik lagu tersebut. Gaya bahasa yang dominan diantara gaya bahasa berdasarkan struktur kalimat adalah gaya bahasa repetisi sebanyak 13 temuan, sedangkan berdasarkan langsung tidaknya makna gaya bahasa yang paling dominan dari jenis gaya bahasa retoris ialah asonansi sebanyak 24 temuan, serta dari jenis kiasan yang paling dominan ialah gaya bahasa persamaan atau simile sebanyak 4 temuan. Kemudian terdapat pesan moral berdasarkan hubungan manusia dengan diri sendiri 14, pesan moral berdasarkan hubungan manusia dengan orang lain 16, dan pesan moral berdasarkan hubungan manusia dengan Tuhan 11. Dari antara pesan moral yang terdapat dalam lirik lagu marga Batak Toba keturunan Tuan Sorba Dibanua terdapat pesan moral yang paing dominan di dalam lirik lagu tersebut. Pesan moral yang paling dominan ialah pesan moral berdasarkan hubungan manusia dengan diri sendiri serta pesan moral berdasarkan hubungan manusia dengan orang lain sebanyak 16 temuan.Kata Kunci: Analisis gaya bahasa, pesan moral, lirik lagu, marga Batak Toba keturunan Tuan Sorba Dibanua

Abstract

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dan menemukan problematika sosial berdasarkan faktor ekonomi, politik, dan sosial yang terdapat dalam film Gundala karya Joko Anwar menggunakan teori sosiologi sastra. Metode penelitian yang digunakan oleh peneliti adalah metode penelitian kualitatif deskriptif yang mendeskripsikan data dari hasil menyimak dan mencatat. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah teknik studi pustaka dengan analisis data berupa teknik memilah, mengumpulkan, mengidentifikasi data dan menarik kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian film Gundala dibagi menjadi tiga bagian: Pertama, Faktor ekonomi yang terbagi atas tiga contoh yaitu kemiskinan, kejahatan dan pengangguran didapat hasil penelitian berjumlah 4 data dengan persentase sebesar 13,3%. Kedua faktor politik terbagi atas empat contoh yaitu pembunuhan, penyuapan, kolusi, dan rapat paripurna, didapat hasil penelitian berjumlah 10 data dengan persentase sebesar 33,3%.  Ketiga faktor sosial yang dibagi atas empat contoh yaitu konflik batin, intoleransi, demonstrasi dan pengorbanan, didapat hasil penelitian berjumlah 16 data dengan persentase sebesar 53,4%. Kata Kunci : Film Gundala, Problematika Sosial, Sosiologi Sastra.

Abstract

Abstract The research objective of this scientific article is to determine the feasibility of poetry fiction textbooks. The source of data in this research is the Indonesian language teacher. Data collection techniques used are primary data and secondary data. The primary data is in the form of analysis of student textbooks. Meanwhile, secondary data consists of books, articles, journals, and other sources that are relevant to the research problem. The data analysis technique uses a descriptive technique with the following steps: a) Analyzing data sources in the form of interviews with Indonesian teachers and written discourse in Indonesian language textbooks for junior high school level. b) Describe the material contained in the book. c) Assessing the quality of the book by using the content and language appropriateness test in the poetry material. d) Drawing conclusions. From the analysis of the data, it can be seen that the textbooks for Indonesian language students, especially in the poetry material presented, are not entirely perfect. The researcher found that aspects of the book's content and language aspects of the book did not support student creativity. Keywords: Feasibility of Textbooks, Poetry Fictional TextsAbstrak Tujuan penelitian artikel ilmiah ini adalah untukmengetahui kelayakan buku teks fiksi puisi.Sumber data dalam penelitian adalah guru bahasa Indonesia. Abstract

This research aims to explore the role of Indonesian in a unifying context in the era of globalization, using a literature review method. In this era of globalization, Indonesian, as the national language and language of the unity of the Indonesian nation, has a crucial role in uniting people with diverse ethnicities and cultures. This role is increasingly important in the era of globalization, where many people now use foreign languages ​​or slang in daily communication. There is a lot of use of slang in everyday language. The large number of uses of slang in everyday conversations does not eliminate the use of Indonesian, but the meaning and use of good, polite and courteous Indonesian in everyday life becomes blurred. Indonesian is not only a means of communication, but also a means of unifying and strengthening national identity. The conclusion of this research is that Indonesian has an irreplaceable role in uniting the nation. Mastery of Indonesian helps people to become effective communicators, able to convey ideas clearly and understand the various nuances of communication. Therefore, the role of Indonesian, especially in this era of globalization, is very important to ensure that people have a solid foundation in communicating in local and global contexts.

Abstract

This research was carried out with the aim of finding out the effect of the Case Based Learning learning model on the ability to write explanatory text. The population of this study was all students of class XI SMA Negeri 3 Medan, totaling 6 classes. Sampling in this study was carried out randomly, so 2 classes were obtained, namely class XI MIA-2 consisting of 30 students as the experimental class and class XI MIA-5 consisting of 30 students as the control class. From the data collection and processing that has been carried out, it shows that the ability to write explanatory text in class using the conventional model obtained an average value of 67.08 and a standard deviation of 9.87. Apart from that, judging from the normality test results of the Case Based Learning learning model, the results were Lcount<Ltable, namely 0.137<0.161. Then in the conventional learning model Lcount<Ltable is 0.124<0.161. Because Lcount is smaller than Ltable, the two data above are said to be normally distributed. Likewise, from the results of the data homogeneity test, namely Fcount<Ftable, namely 0.51<0.53, the data comes from a homogeneous population. After the normality test and homogeneity test, hypothesis testing is then carried out. From hypothesis testing, the results obtained are Tcount>Ttable with hypothesis test results of 5.85>1.699, then Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted so this proves that the Case Based Learning model is more influential in improving the ability to write explanatory text in class XI students at SMA Negeri 3 Medan .

Abstract

The aim of this research is to describe rate scientific text academics in the text report results observation ( textbook Language Indonesia For college tall edition revised in 2024) is viewed based on simplicity structure and density information . This type of research is classified as research qualitative in descriptive form with techniques data collection uses technique documentation , engineering read , and note-taking techniques through sources written form text academic . As for sources the data obtained from Indonesian language textbook for College Edition Revised 2024. Presentation The results and data analysis in this research use approach linguistics systemic functional .Research result show that this textbook is successful serve various type text academic , incl text review , research and activity proposal text , text report research and activities, as well text article scientific , with a systematic structure and rich content . This book provides clear guide as well as relevant examples , helpful students understand, write , and analyze various type text academic . In conclusion , this textbook provides contribution significant to Indonesian language learning in college high and worthy made reference main . Suggestions are given For enhancement quality of material, improvement of text examples, use of interactive media , lecturer training , and collection feedback from users for repair sustainable.

Abstract

The Indonesian language, as the national language, plays a crucial role in higher education, serving not only as a means of communication but also as a vehicle for the development of scientific knowledge. However, the understanding and usage of academic Indonesian in universities remain challenging. This study analyzes the comprehension and utilization of academic Indonesian at the Universitas Negeri Medan by both students and lecturers. The research methodology employs a qualitative approach with a literature review technique. Findings reveal that the usage of Indonesian still falls short of linguistic standards, particularly in formal academic contexts. Factors such as a lack of reading interest, inadequate awareness of the importance of academic Indonesian, and the predominance of foreign language usage impact the comprehension and application of academic Indonesian. Therefore, efforts are required to enhance the understanding and usage of academic Indonesian, including through mentoring, training, and increasing awareness of the significance of proper national language usage.

Abstract

This research evaluates errors in the use of Indonesian in non-Indonesian language and literature students' theses, focusing on aspects of spelling, punctuation, use of italics, and writing particles or affixes. Qualitative descriptive methods are used for in-depth text analysis, identifying language errors in various linguistic fields. The findings show that errors in the use of punctuation marks, especially periods and commas, are dominant with percentages of 53.06% and 38.78% respectively. Spelling errors, especially in the affixes "di-" (42.54%) and "ke-" (31.18%), indicate the writer's confusion in separating or combining the affix with the word that follows it. Grammatical errors, especially in the use of prepositions (40.91%) and conjunctions (31.82%), as well as errors in making effective sentences (27.27%). Phonological errors, such as incorrect use of punctuation, can interfere with a reader's comprehension. This shows that students are often influenced by spoken language in academic writing. In addition, spelling and grammatical errors indicate a lack of understanding of correct Indonesian language rules. To overcome this, it requires increasing understanding of grammar rules, consistent writing practice, and reading good written references. In this way, the quality of students' academic writing can be improved, minimizing errors, and increasing effective scientific communication.

Abstract

The aims of this research were to (1) determine the ability to write explanatory text in class VIII of Hessa Air Genting Private Middle School Islamiyah before using the Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) Model, (2) determine the ability to write explanatory text in class VIII of Private Islamiyah Middle School Hessa Air Genting after using the Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) Model, and (3) knowing the influence of the Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) Model on the ability to write explanatory texts in Class VIII Students of Hessa Air Genting Private Islamic Middle School. This research involved all 114 class VIII students, with a sample of 78 people who were divided into two classes: control class (39 people) and experimental class (39 people). The instruments used include general statements, series of events, closings, causal conjunctions, chronological conjunctions, pronouns, and technical words. The experimental method used is a two group post-test with a quantitative approach, and uses data analysis techniques such as analysis requirements tests, normality tests, and hypothesis tests. The results of the research show that the ability to write explanatory text using the Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) Model has a significant impact, as evidenced by the value of tcount > ttable (5.64 > 2.02439), indicating a significant increase in the ability to write explanatory text for class VIII students at Hessa Air Genting Private Islamic Middle School in the 2023/2024 academic year.

Abstract

Indonesian is the official language of the Indonesian nation which is used by all Indonesian people. The increasingly rapid development of technology can influence society, one of which is the correct use of Indonesian, especially among students who often use slang. This research discusses the bad use of Indonesian language etiquette on social media, especially Tiktok. In this research, researchers used descriptive methods to identify language errors that occur on social media, especially on Tiktok. The aim of this research is to describe the use of toxic language in comments by content creators. The research results show that the use of Indonesian on social media, especially on TikTok, often experiences errors in spelling, diction and grammatical structure. These mistakes can lead to misunderstandings and ineffective use of language. The conclusion of this research shows that the unethical use of Indonesian on social media can have a negative impact on individuals. Therefore, more awareness and attention is needed in using Indonesian on social media in order to communicate effectively and not cause misunderstandings.
