Abstract

Pengeringan adalah proses perpindahan panas dan uap air dari permukaan bahan yang dikeringkan dengan menggunakan energi panas. Salah satu alat yang digunakan untuk proses pengeringan adalah solar dryer. Solar dryer merupakan alat pengering dengan sumber panas matahari dimana biasa digunakan untuk mengeringkan bahan makanan. Saat ini Teknik Industri UNS sedang mengembangkan solar dryer dengan konsep udara ekstra serta reflektor cahaya dan lapisan kaca ganda. Untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang berpengaruh terhadap pengeringan dengan menggunakan solar dryer tersebut, maka dalam penelitian ini dilakukan eksperimen untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang berpengaruh tersebut. Penelitian ini mempertimbangkan kondisi lingkungan dalam pengolahan datanya, sehingga digunakanlah uji Analisis Covarian of Variansi (ANCOVA). Berdasarkan hasil pengolahan data tersebut, faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi pengeringan menggunakan solar dryer diantaranya adalah collector, posisi rak, waktu pengeringan, suhu internal, interaksi posisi rak dengan suhu internal, interaksi waktu pengeringan dengan suhu internal, kelembaban internal, interaksi collector dengan kelembaban internal, interaksi waktu pengeringan dengan kelembaban internal, suhu eksternal, interaksi collector dengan suhu eksternal, interaksi posisi rak dengan suhu eksternal, interaksi waktu pengeringan dengan suhu eksternal, kelembaban eksternal, interaksi collector dengan kelembaban eksternal, interaksi waktu pengeringan dengan kelembaban eksternal, interaksi collector dengan kecepatan angin, interaksi posisi rak dengan kecepatan angin serta interaksi waktu pengeringan dengan kecepatan angin.Kata kunci: ANCOVA, eksperimen, solar dryer.

Abstract

PT. Telkom Indonesia is a company engaged in the telecommunications sector. Nowadays, the necessity for internet networks has increased, notably since the COVID-19 pandemic. Thus, PT. Telkom Indonesia as the largest telecommunications company in Indonesia need to improve the quality of service, especially in the Indihome complaint service process. The Indihome service complaint process often causes many queues so that customers have to wait a long time to be served. This study uses the Lean Service method, by identifying 7 wastes in service companies and then reducing the amount of waste that occurs which causes inefficient and effective service processes. This study also uses VALSAT (Value Stream Analysis Tools) to identify waste in the service system flow. In the Indihome complaint service process, there are the most critical waste, namely the waste of delays and the waste of under-utilized resources. The proposed improvements for waste of delays and waste of under-utilized resources are maximizing the use of VIRSA (Virtual Plasa) machines, educating customers to use MyIndihome application, and conducting regular training for CSR employees. Through value stream mapping current state, it is known that the total time for customers to get service is 1709 seconds and through value stream mapping future state, it is known that the total time for customers to get service is 1468 seconds for each customer.

Abstract

PT. XYZ is one of the manufacturing companies in Indonesia. The company produces water pumps. An important component in the water pump is the stator. The observation results in the Stator Assembly line 4 show that low line efficiency occurs because the production process has not run optimally. So that an improvement in the production process is important to do on this line. One method to improve the production process is ECRS based line balancing. By still considering the concept of line balancing, line efficiency can be improved through improving the production process. Through the improvement of the production process, there was a decrease in the number of work stations from 10 work stations to 9 work stations, improvement of line layout and 7th work station (Heating Air Dryer), also an increase in line efficiency from 74.72% to 81.09%.

Abstract

Abstract— Solo Technopark as one of Science and Technology Area and also called STP develops economic potential and investment attractiveness in Surakarta through the presence of partners and tenants with offices in the area. Partners and tenants have the potential to become Surakarta’s revenue boosters through a lease and grant mechanism. STP has tried to maintain the satisfaction of partners and tenants, but there are still complaints from partners and tenants. It is necessary to improve the quality of service so that partners and tenants trust and stay at STP. This study uses Importance Performance Analysis (IPA) and Quality Function Deployment (QFD) methods to overcome these problems. The entire population became respondents in this study, there are 15 partners and tenants companies with offices at STP and were determined through purposive sampling. Data were collected using the questionnaire and interview methods for the measurement period January-March 2023. The novelty of this research is combination of five dimensions of SERVQUAL, namely tangible, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, empathy with technology and security factors. Through gap analysis, as many as 84% of 31 valid and reliable service quality attributes were stated by partners and tenants to be dissatisfied. The research results is eight priority service attributes to develop service quality improvement proposals. The four designs plan for improving service quality are investing in the latest technology and information, providing skilled and trained technical teams, recruiting social media specialists, and more active and creative management. Implementation of these action plan will increase partner and tenant satisfaction, but there are time and cost adjustments that need attention. This research also provides an understanding of attributes of science park services, provides guidance and recommendations in developing strategies or policies in the field of science park for managers and the government.

Abstract

Kelompok Tani Biofarmaka Sumber Rejeki I dan Ngudi Makmur I memiliki hasil utama berupa kunyit. Untuk meningkatkan nilai tambah produknya, kedua kelompok tani ini mengolah rimpang kunyit menjadi simplisia. Karena harga jual simplisia jauh lebih baik daripada menjual dalam bentuk rimpang. Simplisia adalah rimpang yang dipotong tipis dengan ketebalan 3–8 mm dan dikeringkan sampai kadar air mencapai kurang dari 10%. Sampai saat ini petani masih terkendala dalam memasarkan produk simplisianya. Penyebab utamanya adalah kualitas produknya masih dibawah standar yang ditetapkan pabrikan karena proses pengolahannya yang masih bersifat konvensional, baik dari sisi metodologi maupun teknologi. Selain produktivitasnya yang rendah, cara ini mengakibatkan variasi ketebalan dan kecelakaan kerja. Pengeringan masih dilakukan dengan cara menjemur secara langsung dibawah sinar matahari dengan menggunakan widik. Dengan cara seperti ini pengeringan membutuhkan waktu yang lama yaitu mencapai 20 hari. Selain itu juga terdapat resiko kontaminasi dan menguapnya minyak atsiri yang terkandung dalam simplisia kunyit. Melalui program IbM ini dirancang Teknologi Tepat Guna (TTG) berupa alat pemotong rimpang dan alat pengering simplisia yang dilengkapi dengan SOP pengolahan simplisia kunyit dan penggunaan peralatan. Kegiatan ini dilakukan dengan pendekatan Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA), dalam artian mitra akan dilibatkan hampir di seluruh tahap kegiatan mulai dari perancangan alat, pembuatan alat, evaluasi kinerja alat, penyempurnaan alat, perancangan SOP, sosialisasi SOP dan implementasi SOP. Hasil pengujian kinerja kerja alat pemotong menghasilkan potongan membujur dengan rata-rata 4,58mm sedangkan kinerja alat pengering solar drayer dapat mencapai suhu rata-rata 53.5 C, laju aliran udara rata – rata sebesar 1,02m/s padalubang inlet dan 0.43m/s pada lubang exhaust. Dengan kinerja seperti ini maka pengeringan simplisia akan berjalan lebih cepat, yaitu kurang lebih lima hari. Kata kunci : Biofarmaka, Alat Pemotong Kunyit, Solar dryer

Abstract

As one of the manufacturing companies engaged in food, PT SMART Tbk. Surabaya often having problem about the quality of materials stored in Warehouse Packaging Marsho which is often founded scrap materials. Based on the data from April 1st, 2017 to February 15th, 2015, the percentage of scrap material is increasing every month from 5% to 23%. The purpose of this research is to minimize the scrap materials in Warehouse Packaging Marsho PT. SMART Tbk. Surabaya using DMAIC method by implementing Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, and Control stages. The results are the most dominant cause of scrap is the laziness of operator to place materials in accordance with the provisions (general batch). Thus, it is necessary to make improvements to minimize the scrap material by doing a routine briefing from PIC Area Warehouse Packaging Marsho before the operational activities begin.

Abstract

Pemerintah wajib menjamin ketersediaan fasilitas pelayanan kesehatan dan memfasilitasi penyandang cacat untuk dapat tetap hidup mandiri dan produktif secara sosial dan ekonomis yang disampaikan melalui Undang-Undang Nomor 36 Tahun 2009 tentang Kesehatan. Pasal 42, ayat (3) Undang-Undang ini mengamanatkan bahwa teknologi dan produk teknologi kesehatan harus memenuhi Standar. Indonesia sendiri telah memiliki 189 SNI terkait alat kesehatan, namun tidak ada yang diberlakukan secara wajib. Salah satunya SNI 09-4663-1998 tentang kursi roda. Masalahnya adalah setelah 20 tahun SNI 09-4663-1998 ditetapkan belum ada produk kursi roda bertanda SNI di pasar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan SNI 09-4663-1998 tentang kursi roda oleh pemangku kepentingan dan kemutakhiran standar dalam rangka persiapan kaji ulang standar 09-4663-1998. Penelitian menggunakan metode kualitatif dan kuantitatif (mix method). Pengumpulan data primer dilakukan secara proportional sampling dengan instrumen kuesioner dan Focus Group Discussion. Responden penelitian ini adalah 6 (enam) produsen kursi roda, 3 (tiga) pakar, dan 6 (enam) konsumen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa SNI 09-4663-1998 telah diketahui oleh 66,67% responden namun hanya 33,33% responden yang menerapkan SNI 09-4663-1998. Sedangkan 66,67% menggunakan standar lain, yaitu ISO 7176 series. Hal ini diidentifikasi selain karena 33,33% produsen melakukan ekspor, regulator belum menjadikan SNI 09-4663-1998 sebagai dasar penilaian dan persyaratan izin edar produk kursi roda. SNI 09-4663-1998 juga dianggap tidak mengikuti perkembangan teknologi dan standar internasional sehingga diperlukan revisi yang minimal mencakup parameter keamanan, kekuatan dan ketahanan. Penelitian ini bermanfaat sebagai masukan revisi standar.
