Abstract

Kawasan karst di Indonesia mencapai 20% dari luas wilayah Indonesia. Karst memiliki potensi yang unik dan sangat kaya dengan biodiversitas. Masih banyak biodiversitas yang belum terungkap di kawasan-kawasan kasrt tersebut salah satunya adalah Kawasan Karst di Pulau Nusa Kambangan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mempelajari diversitas kelelawar di gua Kali Bener dan Lempong Pucung karst Nusa Kambangan. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada bulan Maret 2020 di Gua Kali Bener dan Lempong Pucung Karst Nusa Kambangan. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode dengan mengkombinasikan observasi dan penangkapan penggunaan misnet. Analisis data dilakukan deskriptif kuantitatif dengan bantuan software Ecological Methodology versi 7.0. Spesies yang dijumpai di gua Lempong Pucung terdapat 6 spesies yaitu C.brachyotis, R.amplexicaudatus, H.diadema, R.affinis, M.schreibersi, dan M.pusillus. Di Kali Bener sebanyak 5 spesies, terdiri dari C.brachyotis, H.diadema, Hipposideros sp., M.schreibersi, dan M.pusillus. diversitas di habitat Gua Lempong Pucung lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan Gua Kali Bener dan sama-sama memiliki kekayaan spesies dan similaritas sedang. Kedua gua di Karst Nusa Kambangan tersebut memiliki peranan penting sebagai habitat kelelawar dengan status endemik, sebaran yang terbatas, dan spesies-spesies dengan status konservasi rentan (vulnerable/VU). Upaya perlindunagn habitat perlu terus ditingkatkan, karena dengan menjaga kelestarian habitat maka seluruh biodiversitas yang ada di dalamnya akan ikut lestari. Abstract

Embung Tirtoagung is an artificial aquatic ecosystem as a supplier of agricultural land during the dry season and as a fishery facility in Sleman Regency. This study aims to determine the water quality in Tirtoagung Embung based on the diversity index and saprobic index. This research is an exploratory descriptive research by way of observation. The research was conducted in February – April 2021 during the rainy season. The sampling locations were at 5 stations selected by random sampling. The results of the study showed that the water quality in Tirtoagung Embung is included in the lightly polluted category. It is known from the calculation of the diversity index that is 2,391 so that the situation is in the moderate category and the Tirtoagung reservoir is in a lightly polluted condition. Then seen from the calculation of the saprobic index, which is 0.71 - 1.00 so that the condition of the waters of the Tirtoagung reservoir is in the - mesosaprobic phase with light pollution levels and few organic and inorganic compounds. In addition, the water quality of the Tirtoagung reservoir based on physical and chemical parameters is still feasible for the survival of phytoplankton.
