Ia bertujuan untuk memberikan alternative jalan bagi dialngsungkannya pendidikan yang mampu membangkitkan kesadaran kritis anak didik dan masyarakat melalui peran guru atau pendidik. Dalam hal ini yang dimaksud sebagai bangkitnya kesadaran krtis tersebut lebih diletakkan pada kondisi dimana setiap murid -yang kelak akan menjadi anggota masyarakat yang dewasa dilingkungannya- mampu mengkritisi situasi dan kondisi yang hidup dtengah masyarakatnya dan kemudian melakukan perubahan yang diperlukan guna terciptanya masyarakat yang lebih demoikratis dan sejahtera.]]>

<![CDATA[This paper discusses about the influence of Dutch Colonial government policy in the framework of its Ethical Policy towards pesantren. The Ethical Policy carried out by the Dutch East Indies colonial government throughout the period of 1900 until the independence of Indonesia was accompanied by the issuance of a series of policies which were considered to be pressing and detrimental to Islamic education, especially pesantren in Indonesia, in the form of teacher ordinances, wild school ordinances, and the establishment of Dutch Schools which -since the beginning of the 20th century- the existence of these schools has a direct influence on the existence of Islamic Education, especially pesantren. The effect of this policies was the transfer of pesantren to the rural areas just to maintain their characteristics accompanied by their resistance to infiltration of foreign cultures presented by the Dutch through Western-style public schools and The birth of the madrasah as a response to demands for changes in the education system along with the widespread idea of ​​Islamic reform throughout the 18th and 19th centuries.]]>

<![CDATA[This study focuses on the discussion on education policies issued by the Orde Lama government along with their influence on the existence of madrasas in Indonesia. Especially after the issuance of recommendations from Badan Pekerja Komite Nasional Pusat, the establishment of the Ministry of Religion along with its policies, until the publication of Republic Indonesian Law No.4 of 1950 concerning the Basics of Education and Teaching in Schools. The method used in this study is library research. The purpose of this study is to provide broader and more in-depth insight into the conditions of the madrasa in Orde Lama era. Conceptually, this era was considered as the initial milestone in the development of madrasa towards a more modern system of religious education, which combines religious subjects and general subjects in them.]]>

The education that the theacher will convey to students should be well prepared and maximized. Through education delived by teachers to students can have an impacton increasing the creativity, talent, and intelligence of a students. The effect of the learning delivered by teacher affects the moral personality and intellectuals abilities of students, so there is a need for maximum planning before learning process is carried out, namely by doing lesson planning, before learning taker place. It can be a guide and support for the implementation of teaching so as to create good quality theaching.]]>

<![CDATA[Acts of violence and bullying often occur in educational institutions, including Islamic boarding schools. This community service program is intended to improve the pedagogical competence of senior students in caring for junior students in Islamic boarding schools so that it can be expected to prevent violence and bullying. Prevention of acts of violence and bullying is sought by encouraging the strengthening of the use of cognitivism and humanism approaches, and minimizing the behaviorism approach. However, the use of these three approaches can be done proportionally and contextually. The program to increase the pedagogical competence of senior students should be carried out regularly or every year because the change of Islamic boarding school administrators which also takes place every year, automatically also changes the administrators. This program can also become a permanent RMI NU program which is more feasible in implementing the program than being carried out individually by Islamic boarding schools, while also having the advantage of being able to share the good practices of each Islamic boarding school.]]>

<![CDATA[Kifayat al-Atqiya is a guide book written by Sufi Ulama Abu Bakar Bin Al-Markhum Muhammad Syato ', inviting every muslim to be a totally good creature, in the eyes of God and humans, taught through the touch of morality-Sufism. The focus of this research is about the values ​​of character education contained in the book Kifayat al-Atqiya by Abu Bakar Bin Al-Markhum Muhammad Syato'. It is against the background of the declining position of moral education in the community. Various problems related to morals began to arise to cause moral degradation. Therefore, it is necessary to study about moral education which is expected to provide enlightenment. Nowadays character education really needs to be developed in the world of education because of the importance of character keys in the development of a nation and country. Before the term character was echoed in education in Indonesia long ago it was instilled and taught by Rasulallah through Allah's revelation in the form of the Al-quran which was then continued by the alim ulama one of which is the thought of Abu Bakr Bin Al-Markhum Muhammad Syato'.]]>

<![CDATA[This service program aims to assist teachers to have the ability to detect the religious views and attitudes of students and to implement religious moderation learning in class. The steps for implementing the program include a) Introduction by conducting a needs analysis for the implementation of assistance; b) Implementation of the program by strengthening the teacher's ability to detect students' religious moderation issues and implementing religious moderation learning in class. Program implementation activities are carried out by means of intensive discussions in group discussion forums (FGD), delivery of workshop materials, and assistance in the implementation of religious moderation learning; the last activity is c) assessment and writing of service results reports. The service program with these steps has proven to be successful in achieving the planned goals. This is shown by the following indicators: 1) The teacher shows quite high enthusiasm in the discussions at the FGD forum; 2) The teacher's knowledge and ability to detect students' religious moderation issues, as well as the implementation of religious moderation learning, has proven to increase when compared between before the implementation of the service program and after the program implementation.]]>
