Abstract

Abstrak: Gudang penyimpanan merupakan salah satu fasilitas pelabuhan yang berfungsi untuk menyimpan barangyang datang dari kapal atau sebaliknya.Dengan meningkatnya komoditi setiap tahunnya maka diperlukan rencanapembangunan gudang agar mempercepat waktu kapal bertambat. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis kebutuhan ruangpenyimpanan gudang semen. Dengan desain layout gudang penyimpanan ini menggunakan pola perpindahan baranggaris lurus. Pengolahan data dimulai dari perhitungan kapasitas gudang, waktu barang tertimbun, jarak perpindahanbarang dan utilitas gudang. Dari perhitungan didapatkan bahwa kapasitas gudang penyimpanan semen adalah sebesar2000 pallet dengan luas area gudang adalah sebesar 3.080 m2dan utilitas ruang gudang sebesar 74,34%. Luas area yangterpakai adalah sebesar 2.289,6m2dengan banyaknya pallet adalah sebesar 1.908 pallet. Total jarak perpindahankomoditi semen dalam gudang adalah sebesar 40.690 m.Kata kunci: pelabuhan, pola perindahan, tata letak gudang

Abstract

Construction in the field can often be encountered with various problems, one of which is damage to concrete structures or non-concrete structures that can affect the weakening of a structure. Many developed countries have carried out polymer mortar development efforts. Until now, the development of polymer mortar is still ongoing to reduce the use of cement and anticipate global warming. One of them is by utilizing polymer as an adhesive substitute for cement so that a strong mortar is produced in a shorter time. This research combines 40%-55% epoxy resin and hardener, 40% fine aggregate, 5%-20% Fly Ash and 1%-5% nanosilica. The results obtained show that the initial bond setting time is 70 minutes and the final bond is 110 minutes. This result is faster than normal mortar. The more epoxy used, the longer the bonding time. For Compressive strength test maximum Theobtained were results62 MPh with a mixture of 38% epoxy and hardener, aggregate 40% fine, 20% fly ash and 2% nanosilica. For specific gravity, the result is 1,760 Kg/M3. Aggregates and fly ash with fine grains can produce higher mechanical strength as fillers coupled with nanosilica which can increase strength, the more nanosilica used , the strength of the nanocomposite material increases to appoint critical and then decreases.  Keywords: Polymer Concrete, Fly Ash and Nanocomposites

Abstract

Endikat Bengkok irrigation area is located in Muara Enim with an area of 1,140 ha. The Endikat Bengkok Irrigation channel used to irrigate rice fields in four villages, namely Segamit, Siring Agung, Arimantai and Fajar Bulan, districts of Semendo Barat Ulu. The source of irrigation water is available in the Endikat Bengkok River, which is a subsidiary of the Lematang River. The purpose of this study was to analyze the water availability in the Endikat Bengkok River for the adequacy of the Endikat Bengkok Irrigation Area, and the appropriate water provision group. Primary data was collected in the form of the planting group, secondary data in the form of rainfall data and climatological data. The calculation of evapotranspiration used the Penman method and the calculation of water availability used the F.J. Mock. From the calculation of water availability, it is shown that the maximum value occurred in April amounted to 48.15 m3 / s and the minimum value occurred in October amounted to 2.23 m3 / s. The availability of water for irrigation (80% dependable flow) is not sufficient to irrigate the entire Endikat Bengkok Irrigation Area. The most suitable water supply group by rotating based on the provisions of the irrigation planning criteria.

Abstract

The watershed delineation process is needed and has an essential role in various water resource projects. This study aims to examine the GIS processing function embedded in the latest HEC-HMS software version 4.4 for the delineation of watershed and elements of the hydrological model. In comparison, watershed delineation was also carried out by using ArcGIS software. The area of study is the Bendung subbasin located in Palembang City, where terrain data used is a National DEM data with a spatial resolution of 8 m (0.27 arc-second). The results showed that the boundaries and area of the watershed produced by HEC-HMS 4.4 and ArcGIS showed the same characteristics. The river network produced by the two software shows a slight difference even though the flow patterns are similar. It shows that the level of accuracy and quality of the delineation produced by the HEC-HMS 4.4 is excellent. Besides, elements of the hydrological model can be generated automatically which is not found in previous versions. It allows users to more quickly simulate detailed hydrological models with a large number of elements. Therefore, the use of GIS functions in HEC-HMS 4.4 must be encouraged for various analysis purposes in water resources projects.

Abstract

Palembang is famous for the Musi River with a length of 460 km. The area along the river border is vulnerable to the impact of floods, this is the same thing that occurs in the Gandus District, which is mostly located on the banks of the Musi River. Analysis of the flood water level profile along the banks of the Musi River, which is affected by the tides is needed to find out how big the impact of flooding in the study area is. It aims to determine the type of tide, the amount of flow discharge, and simulation of river water level. Primary data was taken using a current meter to determine the speed of river flow. Some of the secondary data needed are river channel topographic data, rainfall data for 10 years, channel cross-section data and Musi River level data. The analysis was carried out in the form of a simulation of flood water level with the help of the HEC-RAS 5.0.7 program. The tidal type of the Musi River is based on the results of the study in the form of Diurnal Tide, with a watershed area of 2.2 km2 in Gandus District, the runoff discharge is 280.34 m3/s. The simulation results with the help of the HEC-RAS program obtained an average runoff height on the Musi River border of 2.7 m. The high runoff from the simulation can have a negative impact on the surrounding community, so there needs to be serious handling for flood control.

Abstract

Kelurahan 20  Ilir D-III Kecamatan Ilir Timur I Kota Palembang sering terjadi genangan yang mengakibatkan terganggunya aktivitas penduduk setempat dan membuat kerusakan pada lapisan jalan. Wilayah kelurahan 20 Ilir D-III Kecamatan Ilir Timur I ini merupakan bagian dari Sub Das Sekanak dengan luas 11.40 Km2. Saluran sekunder pada wilayah studi memiliki hilir di saluran primer Jalan angkatan 45 dengan panjang saluran sekunder 741,3 m.  Tujuan penelitiaan ini untuk mendapatkan dimensi drainase yang sesuai dengan debit rencana. Analisis perhitungan curah hujan menggunakan Log Person type III yang kemudian diuji dengan menggunakan metode Smirnow-Kolmogorov. Dari hasil perhitungan menggunakan metode rasional, didapat debit rencana 7,23  m3/dtk Dimensi saluran direncanakan saluran terbuka dengan lebar dan tinggi saluran 2,3 m dan tinggi jagaan 0,75 m.

Abstract

The provision of clean water is one of main priority for human life and health. it is not only prioritized in the cities but also in the rural areas. Clean water supply system is carried out by piping and non-piping systems. Whereas the piping system is managed by Perusahaan Daerah Air Minum (PDAM), the non-piping system is managed by the community both individually and in groups. The clean water network in Desa Napal, Musi Banyuasin still uses a non-piping system and does not have a clean water network yet from the PDAM. The purpose of this study is to determine the clean water needs of Desa Napal both domestic and non-domestic and rural network planning of water supply through the Waternet program. The research methodology began with literature study, gathering information from survey, primary data collection in the form of non-domestic building data and pipe depth points, secondary data collection in the form of location maps, population and domestic buildings. Furthermore, the calculation of water needs and planning of the clean water network of Napal Village was done using the Waternet program. Results found that the total water needs of Napal village was 2.228 liters/second or can used water flow of 6 liters/second as planning. The clean water network in Napal village was planned to use pipe diameter of 50, 80, and 150. The pipeline network (Pressure/atm) in the Waternet program was ≤ 2, which showed that the network runs well.

Abstract

Changes in land use in an area greatly affect water absorption. Inundation occurred in Ilir Timur II Subdistrict, Palembang City due to lack of maintenance of drainage channels and changes in land conversion which was originally land into a water catchment area, now it is a concrete or residential area. During the rainy season, water will fill residents' spaces in the form of puddles and floods, which will continue to increase surface runoff in the area. The impact of the inundation is very disturbing and detrimental to various parties. The purpose of this study is to determine the peak discharge, analyze existing drainage, and plan a new secondary drainage design. The data used are primary data, namely channel length measurement data, channel slope, and existing channel dimension measurement data. While the secondary data used is in the form of 10-year rainfall data obtained from two rain posts, namely the rain post in Sako District and the rain post in Ilir Barat I District, as well as land use data in the Fruit Watershed of Palembang City covering an area of 1222.89 hectares. Then carry out an analysis of changes in land use currently and calculation of peak discharge to plan the dimensions of the new secondary drainage channel. The current peak discharge (Qp) calculation results in the studied area are 24.4 m3/s. For the calculation of channel dimensions, it is planned to have a rectangular cross-section with channel dimensions at sta 0.00 - 672.80 m, namely the channel dimension height is 4.5 m, the channel width is 4.5 m, and the guard height (f) is 0.30 m. From the results of analysis and calculations it is known that with the dimensions of the new drainage design there will be no runoff along the secondary canal. It is hoped that this can be a reference in planning the drainage rearrangement in Ilir Timur II District to reduce frequent inundation.

Abstract

Srimulyo Village, Air Salek District has a water connection with PDAM Tirta Betuah as a clean water service provider. The problem that occurs is the lack of water pressure, so it cannot meet the need for clean water for 24 hours. Apart from loss of head, it is projected that there will be changes in population which will increase the burden on clean water capacity at the research location. This research was conducted to determine the existing clean water needs, population projections, and determine head loss. This calculation uses geometric methods to calculate population projections, as well as the Hardy Cross method to calculate pressure loss. In the drainage area in Srimulyo Village, the total need for clean water in 2022 is 371,760 lt/day, the projected population for the next 5 years in 2027 is 5,164 people, and in the next 10 years 2032 it is 6,435 people. And the loss of pressure height occurred in block 3, namely 6.03 m and the remaining pressure was 33.34 m. This is caused by a change in pipe diameter from 6 inches to 4 inches.

Abstract

Di tengah lautan informasi dan teknologi yang terus berkembang, siswa Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) harus mempersiapkan diri dengan keterampilan yang relevan. Salah satu aspek yang tak boleh diabaikan adalah penguasaan perangkat lunak. Di era digital ini, kemampuan mengoperasikan software menjadi keharusan. Salah satu bidang yang menarik perhatian adalah software pemetaan. Di sinilah Sistem Informasi Geografis (GIS) berperan penting. Melalui pengabdian yang dilakukan, para siswa diperkenalkan dengan ArcGIS, sebuah perangkat lunak yang memungkinkan pemetaan dan analisis data geospasial. Pelaksanaan kegiatan ini dilakukan dalam beberapa tahap yaitu survey lapangan. Survey lapangan digunakan untuk mengetahui kemampuan para siswa dalam mengikuti perkembangan era digital dengan penggunaan aplikasi software terutama software pemetaan. Tahap selanjutnya pelaksanaan pengabdian di SMK N 4 Palembang. Hasil dari pelaksanaan kegiatan ini adalah: pengetahuan dalam penggunaan, manfaat, dan cara mengoperasikan software ArcGIS untuk pemetaan, dari hasil kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan siswa SMK N 4 Palembang dalam penggunaan software ArcGIS serta dapat mengikuti perkembangan era digital yang sangat pesat dijaman sekarang.
