Abstract

Salah satu solusi terhadap masalah krisis energi adalah optimalisasi pemanfaatan energy matahari sebagai sumber ener-gi alternatif. Dye-sensitized solar cell (DSSC) adalah sel surya yang memanfaatkan zat warna (dye) sebagai pengikat cahaya matahari sekaligus sebagai sensitizer-nya untuk menghasilkan listrik DC. Penelitian ini bertujuan menguji penggunaan ekstrak buah Senduduk sebagai bahan zat warna dalam DSSC dan mempelajari pengaruh fraksi/konsentrasi etanol pada proses penyiapan koating TiO2 dalam DSSC dan ketebalannya terhadap kinerja DSSC. Zat warna diekstrak dengan melarutkan buah Senduduk dalam campuran pelarut metanol - asam asetat - aquades. Pasta TiO2 dibuat dengan mencampurkan 5 g TiO2 ke dalam 40 ml pelarut ethanol-air dengan berbagai variasi konsentrasi/fraksi. Selanjutnya TiO2 dideposisikan pada substrat kaca fluorine tin oxide (FTO) menggunakan spin coater dengan variasi ketebalan yang selanjutnya disintering membentuk elektroda kerja. Elektroda lawan (counter-electrode) yang sekaligus sebagai katalis dibuat menggunakan lapisan karbon. Uji UV-Vis menunjukkan bahwa ekstrak buah Senduduk mengandung senyawa antosianin sebagai media sensitizer. Semakin besar fraksi etanol dalam pelarut pasta TiO2 dan semakin tebal koating TiO2, maka semakin tinggi tegangan listrik yang dihasilkan. Tegangan tertinggi ditunjukkan oleh DSSC dengan koating yang disintesis menggunakan etanol tanpa pengenceran yaitu sebesar 659 mV/cm2 (pencahayaan LED), dan sebesar 1806,7 mV/cm2 (pencahayaan matahari langsung). Uji morfologi menunjukkan peningkatan fraksi etanol pada preparasi pasta TiO2 mempengaruhi morfologi permukaan koating yang bermuara pada peningkatan kinerja DSSC. Peningkatan fraksi etanol juga meningkatkan daya adhesi koating TiO2 pada substrat.

Abstract

The forest fire disaster a few years back became be a national disaster even at certain times is already reaching out to the country's neighbors. One of the technologies that are used to anticipate forest fires is use Wireless Sensor Network (WSN). Some research related to the anticipation of WSN fires have been used, but still are testing approach and not using a Routing protocols. Research that uses the Routing protocol still using level simulation. On this research will implement Routing protocols in this regard which Directed diffusion Routing protocol (DD). Implementation begins with a gather existing scenarios in the field of data then this scenario will be modeled on c++ programming languages in accordance with the existing features in DD Routing protocol. The scenario that will be modeled include the number of Sensor nodes involved in accordance with their respective role as outlined in the following: the Coordinator will forward the message in accordance with the interest requested by user interest messages sent in the form of broadcast to all nodes that are connected in the Network up towards the node that is closest to the target. Next the node that receives the message of interest will give a response to the Coordinator. Then the Coordinator will establish a communication Network path will be dilaui by the message sender node of the target. From some alternative paths available Coordinator will be finalised the most optimal routes. After the model of the Routing protocols are ready on the Arduino Uno next done testing with Network install using nRF24L01 module. Trial results show the path that is specified by the node parameter obtained efficiency Coordinator for communication in the form of delay and throughput that is considered the most optimal.Keyword : Wireless Sensor Network, nRF24L01, Arduino, Directed diffusion, DHT11, Arduino IDE.

Abstract

Instrument Landing System is navigational aids aircraft landing, localizer is part of the ILS function to provide information of air straightness on the runway. This paper discusses the localizer performance in the perspective of telecommunication electronics i.e. the series of power amplifier and recombiner monitoring. The proposed method through a modelling of the manufacturer's specifications and compared to the field measurement. Overall, the comparison result shows within the manufacturing specification with indicating less than 0,2% error.Keywords : Instrument Landing System, Localizer, Power Amplifier, Monitor Recombiner.

Abstract

This paper describes analysis of video Segmentation and tracking on highway that is done with using edge detection method. In this paper, method of analysis is using help from software matlab simulink. The proccess of analysis is done by making blocks model for proccessing place of segmentation and tracking. The factor in this study is color conversion, motion detection, background subtraction, blob analysis or making contour and tracking. This analysis is using GUI ( Graphical User Interface) for see the result of video on output from each of block and can see the pixel value on video and can do calculation with using the pattern is usin in this study so the result from analysis calculation and analysis from GUI (Graphical User Interface) is matching.Keyword : Video Segmentation, Video Tracking, Edge Detection, Motion Detection, Matlab, Simulink.

Abstract

A permanent magnet generator is designed to accomodate wind speed of 7-12 m/s, which is equal to 500-600 RPM. It is consider as a low speed generator. This generator is dedicated for Wind Power Plant (PLTB) system. Parameters which are influence to the permanent magnet generator performance is described. Abstract

The burden of household consumption in the city of Pekanbaru in each year isincreasing. PLN as a provider of primary electrical energy source load households dependon fossil fuels to produce electricity, but the amount of fossil energy resources availabilityis very limited because it requires the utilization of alternative energy sources although ona small scale for the initial process. New alternative and renewable energy is currentlywidely used, the use of renewable technologies, such as hybrid. Hybrid is an electric powersystem that combines multiple sources of electrical energy that can be used as a compactand integrated. Based on the above issues will require a feasibility analysis models ofhybrid power plant to the load of households in the city of Pekanbaru. This study usesHomer simulation system consisting of solar cells (PV), PLN, and Wind. Based on testinghybrid systems with the optimum configuration consists of PV and PLN with the total NetPresent Cost (NPC) amounted to $ 5.156 and the economic costs (COE) amounted to $0131 / kWh. The simulation results in supply by 37% from PLN and accounted for 63% ofthe solar energy.Keywords : renewable energy,Hybrid,Homer

Abstract

The number of vehicles in the big cities has increased rapidly, this phenomena has triggered an over density situation in the traffic light. The purpose of this study is to develop a tool to measurethe density of vehicles with sensors and RF 433Mhz as transmission media. To realize these tools, three ultrasonic sensors are used as a detector of the presence of a vehicle with a sensor with an object placed between 3 cm to 3 m and the distance between each sensor 50 m. The measurement values obtained from the measurement results shown through PLX-DAQ applications. In the design of this system is to perform testing of the tool, the measurement results can be analyzed todetermine the density of vehicles that can be categorized by the level of density, loose, short, medium and long. Abstract

Limitations of energy is one of the important issues in the network sensor network (WSN). The energy used for data transmission between sensor nodes. one method to solve this problem is to choose the proper protocol. Many researchers have proposed protocols are energy efficient and have a good data collection mechanisms. One well-known protocol used is directed diffusion (DD). DD is a data centric protocol that also focus in energy efficiency and have a good data collection capabilities. DD good protocol but there are still some weaknesses were found in DD. DD on the implementation flooding (flooding) a request message to a network of sensors and then draw the appropriate message and flooding the request message to the network node number will increase energy usage and network traffic. Cluster or grouping of nodes one way to hold back flooding overhead. Proposed research directed diffusion-based cluster showed increased energy efficiency and reduce traffic congestion in the network of sensors. Based on the results of the analysis suggest that, over the J-Sim simulation showed that directed diffusion-based cluster is able to limit and control the flooding overhead to determine the number of nodes in each cluster efficiently.Keywords : Wireless Sensor Networks, Directed diffusion, cluster, J-Sim

Abstract

In electrical systems, power quality is something that must be considered, the power quality assessment can be viewed from various aspects, such as the continuity in the supply of electric energy, stable frequency and voltage on the transmission of electrical energy, and power factor. Non-linear load is a contributor of harmonics that can interfere with the quality of electrical power so used filters for the prevention of electrical harmonics. As science, it is increasingly developing technologies to minimize electrical harmonics, one of which is the Artificial Neural Network. Abstract

Air pollution effect of the forest fire become one of important issues in Indonesia. Air pollution can be bad for impact community which able to eliminate the visibility when driving and also become worse for person who having respiratory problem. Therefore is needed an accurate and real-time system for monitoring the level of air pollution base on WSN. This work purposes sensor placement survey to achieve efficiency on routing protocol. The survey will focus on directed diffusion and cluster directed diffusion protocol. The reason to select this two routing protocol base on their performance indicator which cover average delay, total energy and lowest life node.
