Abstract

Information heartbeat’s per minute and characteristics of heart rate is an essential to be monitored, it shows normal and abnormal condition of heart rate person’s characteristic. The normal heart rate is usually 60-100 bpm. This paper present a system monitoring based on Zigbee and Labview. It monitors heartbeat’s per minute, heart rate characteristic and respiratory rate per minute displayed though Labview GUI. From experimental the heartbeat’s of 89 bpm was obtained, it indicated in normal condition. The heart rate is less than 60 bpm indicated bicardia characteristic, and the heart rate is more than 100 bpm indicated tachicardi characteristic.Keywords: Photoplethysmograph, Heart’s rate, Respiratory rate, Labview, Heartbeat’s, Breathing

Abstract

Geographically, Indonesia is located on the equator which has two seasons, namely the rain season and the dry season. In the dry season, the sun's heat is needed for various needs, one of these is to drying wet clothes. The drying process cannot be monitored directly. Therefore, an automatic clothesline system was designed. This design uses Arduino Uno as a microcontroller. Light Dependent Resistor (LDR) sensor and rain sensor are used as inputs of this design. DC motor is applied to run the clothesline automatically. The notification in this design uses the GSM Module in the form of a short message and sent to the user.Keywords : Arduino Uno, LDR Sensor, Rain Sensor, GSM Module, Automatic clothesline

Abstract

Forest fires in Indonesia every year always happen that a national disaster. To overcome this problem have wireless sensor network as a solution. But the sensor node has limited ability in terms of memory capacity, bandwidth and energy. Among the issues, energy consumption is a concern of many researchers because the sensor nodes using the battery as energy. Therefore, in this paper will be the implementation strategy of wireless sensor networks in Tesso Nilo National Park to prevent fires. The results obtained by the network topology and routing protocols are appropriate for the location of Tesso Nilo National Park is a mesh topology and routing protocols directed diffusion.Keywords : Wireless Sensor Networks, Mesh, Directed Diffusion

Abstract

The uneven indoor temperatures at a high rise building to be one factor uncomfortable to do the activity. It became one of the problems. Uneven temperatures in certain parts, the people in the room did not feel the temperature generated by the air conditioning so it does not feel comfortable. With the development of Wireless Sensor Network can be apply the distribution of the resulting temperature in a room. To get good performance we conducted studies sensor placement and selection protocols. Abstract

Broiler chicken is a source of food that can be harvested within one month. The high level of feed consumption causes the body temperature of the chicken to heat up faster so that broiler chickens lose weight and even death. In the distribution of broiler chickens, broiler chicken storage is needed before being marketed, this storage has a problem that is hotter room temperature due to the chicken's own body heat and lack of air circulation. With a temperature controller, the risk of failure of broiler production can be handled. In this paper, an Internet of Things (IoT) system is created by reading and adjusting temperature conditions in broiler chicken storage. This design uses NodeMCU as a microcontroller with a built-in WIFI ESP8266 module, DHT11 sensor is used for temperature readings. The android application is designed using the Web-based MITAPPINVENTOR. This design will turn on the fan if the temperature in the storage exceeds 30 °C and turn off the fan if the storage temperature is below 30 °C. The results of broiler chickens with the IoT system have weight gain because the chickens are not getting hot compared to broilers without the Internet of Things (IoT) system which have weight loss and death. Abstract

Washing machine technology has been developed well in the last ten years, it’s vary from the simple technology until utilizing of artificial  intelligent to improve washing quality and controlling motor to obtain energy efficiency. However the issues of eco-friendly power supply has been not covered by the recent development of technology. The design prototyping of the Mini Washing Machine with the Solar Power is proposed to answer these issues.  This design have specific features such as 0.5 gallon sized of washing capacity, DC voltage based power supply and able to perform the standard operational of washing machine. It is composed by 0.5 gallon sized of bucket, DC motor with 700rpm of maximum speed, washing blade, LI-ion battery and solar panel for LI-ion battery charging power supply. The special connection between dc motor and washing blade are done through combination of axle shaft and different size of double pulleys. Minimum loss of power is achieved by using this connection. The testing result shows the design is successfully operated in 2 modes of motor speed i.e. low speed for light of cloths and high speed for heavy cloths
