Abstract

The low learning outcomes of Addition and Reduction of Fractions in class IV are partly due to: (1) a tedious learning process, (2) lack of use of ICT as a source and media of learning. To overcome this problem the research team developed student-centered learning through e-learning learning in the Student Team Achievement Division (STAD) model. This study is a true experiment using the Pre-Test Group Control Post Test Design. The population is Sambiroto 02 elementary school students as many as 75 students in the 2017/2018 school year. The E2 group with EAD learning using the STAD model reached the highest mean value of the three groups, amounting to 88.67, followed by the E1 group with STAD learning at 74.54 and the K group with expository learning at 63.10. Regression analysis showed a positive relationship between motivation and activity with learning outcomes in groups E1 and E2 so it can be concluded that the higher the student's motivation and activity score the higher the student's learning achievement in addition and subtraction operations in elementary schools.

Abstract

 Rasa percaya diri merupakan salah satu modal keberhasilan siswa dalam belajar. Rasa percaya diri bisa tumbuh bila materi pembelajaran bukan materi yang baru bagi siswa. Ethnomatematika merupakan sarana menumbuhkan rasa percaya diri siswa dalam belajar matematika. Ethnomatematikadi sekolah dasar dikembangkan melaluitutorial mata kuliah Pendidikan Matematika 2 bagi mahasiswa FKIP Universitas Terbuka. Model ini dikembangkan pada tahun 2017 dengan para tutor Program Studi S1 PGSD Pokjar Kota Semarang sebagai sampelnya.Tutorial dilaksanakan secara terpadu antara praktik bermain Sundamanda dan berlatihinteraktif berbasis mobilelearning. Tutorial ini dimaksudkan untuk membuka potensi mahasiswa sebagai calon guru untuk selalu mempertimbangkan pengetahuan yang muncul dan berkembang di masyarakat sebagai kearifan lokal. Melalui tutorial ethnomatematika, para mahasiswa  membiasakan diri mengaitkan matematika dengan budaya lokal dan memanfaatkan mobilelearning. Kata-kata Kunci: Ethnomatematika, Sundamanda, Interaktif, Kearifan Lokal. ABSTRACT Confidence is one of the keys to success in learning. Confidence can grow when learning materials are not unfamiliar material for students. Ethnomatematics is a means of fostering students' confidence in learning math. In this study Ethnomatematics in elementary school is developed through thetutorialof Pendidikan Matematika 2 forstudentsof FKIP,Indonesia Open University. This model was developed in 2017 with the tutors of S1 PGSD Pokjar Semarang as the sample. The tutorial is implemented in an integrated model between Sundamanda playing practice and interactive practice based on mobile learning. This tutorial is intended to open the potential of students as prospective teachers to always consider the knowledge that emerged and developed in the community as a local wisdom. Through ethnomatematics tutorials, students familiarize themselves with linking mathematics with local culture and utilizing mobile learning. Abstract

Mathematics is a subject often considered difficult by students from the elementary level, junior, arrived at the high school level Math, this is because it deals with things that are abstract. Therefore teachers of mathematics in learning is expected to have a good mastery, can select the appropriate learning strategies, as well as using the learning models that can improve student learning and student motivation can be moreactive in learning. With that in mind it was all finally can improve student learning outcomes.The fact shows that learning mathematics on Logic X-grade material in SMA Negeri Semarang teachers I still dominate the learning, the students seemed passive and just accept the knowledge provided by the teacher. In addition teachers not to use media learning, not to use the strategies and methods that can enable students so the students understanding of the material is still low. In order to overcome passivity and lack of understanding of students of class X in addition Logic material model Huitt learning with media Question cards and learning model PQ4R with media Flip Book Maker.Through two models this will be seen pempelajaran keektifan students so that they can improve student learning outcomes.This research uses a type of experiment using two classes of experimental and one control class. As the population in this research is the whole grade X which consists of 8 classes, and then randomly selected three classes. One class as a class that implements the I model experiment study of Huitt with media Question cards, a class again as a class that implements the model II experimental learning PQ4R with media Flip Book Maker, as well as one other the rest of the class as the class of the control.Data processing using statistics "(test of normality, test, and test homoginitas ANAVA).The purpose of this study is to: 1) see any difference whether or not the results studied mathematics students who got media learning model Huitt with Question cards, a learning model with a Flip Book PQ4R media Maker, and the learning model Ekospositori, 2) look at the effectiveness of the learning model Huitt with media Question cards, a learning model with a Flip Book PQ4R media Maker, and Ekospositori learning models at sub subject of mathematical logic in the lesson 20142015.From the results of the study indicate that there is a difference between the results of the study of mathematics students who got media learningmodel Huitt with Question cards, a learning model with a Flip Book PQ4R media Maker, model and learning Ekospositori learning more effective, and there is a difference in student learning results in mathematical logic in teaching 2014-2015.Keywords: learning Huitt, PQ4R, Question cards, Flip Book Maker.

Abstract

Jet pulse system portable fogging machine is used to control pest, vector, damaging micro organism and unpleasant odor. The machine produces and sprays out fog. One of the fogging machine testing parameters is droplet size accuracy level testing complying with SNI-05-7190-2006. At the moment, the droplet measurement is done by manual estimation using scaled microscope, but this method is not effective. Therefore, a new method is needed to support the testing effectively and efficiently. As a result, application software to measure droplet diameter of the fogging machine is made. The droplet diameter measurement result has been tested and it is certain that the result is close to the values of manual estimation. Therefore, the software can also be used to support the conduction of fogging machine testing. Keywords: fogging machine, SNI-05-7190-2006, droplet, testing

Abstract

Quality education is the hope of us all, and all the nations in this world are competing to improve the quality of education. In order to improve the quality of education the Indonesian people are always working to make changes to the curriculum to address the changing times. Vice President Budiono is paying attention to education especially the 2013 curriculum, as we want to educate future generations that will be best, at least in 2035 or 32 years. According to him, which is prepared by the current government so that the future leaders of the nation are born they are still sitting in elementary to high school, because that’s what will be expected to be born gold generation.Early childhood is a group of children who are in the process of growth and development that is unique and is in the golden age, the time when children have a lot of excellent potential to be developed. One of the most important potential to be developed is the intelligence of children. Prof. Stenberg of Yale University states that there are three forms of intelligence that most people need to successfully run the role or work, namely intelligence analysis, creative intelligence, and contextual intelligence.In order to develop early childhood intelligence creative learning is applied. Creative can be defined as a set of abilities that reflect fluency, flexibility, and originality in thinking, as well as the ability to elaborate (develop, enrich, detail). In order to implement creative-based learning, teachers as education implementers should have four competencies, namely pedagogic competence, personality competence, social competence, and professional competence. These competencies are closely related to the quality of creativity and innovation of the teacher, both in conveying the material creatively in a creative model role model.Creative learning is very important to be developed by all teachers, because with creative learning will create an interesting climate, can be enjoyed by teachers and students, effective, efficient, and able to develop student potential or student intelligence. With the development of students’ intelligence, the learning will be more qualified and eventually the quality of education will be increased.

Abstract

Mathematic always consider difficult subject from elementary, junior, until senior high school students, this happens because mathematic consider connected with abstract objects, because of that mathematics teacher should have great understanding within subject, able to choose great strategy learning, also able to use learning model that can improve student motivation in learning and student will become active in learning. With all those considerations can be used to improve students learning progress. In fact, show that learning progress mathematic on Logic material class X in public senior high school I Semarang teacher still dominated. Students look passive – only receive material that teacher gave. Also, the teacher not using learning media, not yet used strategy and method which can stimulate students then understanding of the material still below expectation. To handle passivity within lack of understanding students in logic material class X Huitt learning model with Question Card media and PQ4R learning model with Flip Box Maker Media. Through this two learning model will be supervised a student's effective so can improve the result of students learning. This research used experimental kinds with two classes as an experiment and one class as control class, as populated in this research is entire students of class X which consider from eight classes, and continue randomly chosen, three classes. One class as an experiment I which applied Huitt learning model with Question Card Media, another class as experiment class II which applied PQ4R learning Flip Box Maker media, the rest of the class as a control class. Data processing has used a statistic (Normality test, Homogenates test, and ANOVA test). Point of this research is to: 1) to get that there are differences in mathematic learning which students applied Huitt learning model with Question card media, PQ4R learning model with Flip Box Maker Media, and Ekospositori learning model on material discussion mathematic logic curriculum 2014/2015. From this research shows there is differences students result in learning mathematic which applied Huitt learning model with question card media, PQ4R learning media with Flip Box Maker media, and Ekospositori learning model, learning more effective and there are differences in students learning Mathematic Logic curriculum 2014/2015.
