Abstract

The purpose of this research was to find an empiric proof and analysis that stock return and financial performance of the companies could be improved through Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and Good Corporate Governance (GCG) at The Indonesian Capital Market. Populations of this research are companies that go public at Indonesia Capital Market. Technic Sampling used purposive sampling, and finds 62 companies. These companies then were divided into two categories according to its total assets. From its, 31 samples categorized as big companies, while others as small companies. And the hypotheses were tested using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with Partial Least Square (PLS) program. The result showed that (1) CSR had a significant positive effect towards stock return in big companies categorized, while small companies categorized had a significant negative effect of it, (2) GCG had no significant effect towards stock return in both categories, (3) Financial performance had no significant effect towards stock return in big companies categorized, but it had a positive significant effect towards it in those small, (4) CSR had a significant positive effect towards financial performance in big companies categorized, whereas in small companies it could not be found, (5) GCG had no significant effect towards financial performance in both categories, (6) as well as the GCG had no significant effect towards CSR in both categories.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisi pengaruh profitabilitas, strktur aktiva, dan Good Corporate Governance terhadap struktur modal dan return saham. Populasi dalam penelitian ini perusahaan Syariah yang tergabung dalam Jakarta Islamic Index (JII) selama periode 2015-2019. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode kuantitatif dengan data sekunder. Teknik pengambilan sampel dengan metode purposive sampling. Sampel yang diambil sebanyak 61 perusahaan. Analisis untuk menguji pengaruh langsung dan tidak langsung dari variabel independent terhadap variabel dependen atau melalui variabel interveningnya. Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah regresi data panel dengan menggunakan program Eviews. Hasil penelitian secara umum dapat disimpulkan bahwa profitabilitas memiliki pengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap struktur modal, struktur aktiva mempunyai pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap struktur modal, good corporate governance tidak mempunyai pengaruh terhadap struktur modal, dan profitabilitas berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap return saham dan struktur modal tidak mampu memediasi pengaruh profitabilitas dan struktur aktiva dan GCG terhadap return saham.

Abstract

The covid-19 pandemic has reduced the business income of Aisyiyah’s businesswomen. The purpose of this community service was to improve entrepreneurial competence, especially business financial management and assistance in making Business Registration Numbers and Micro Small Business Permits for Aisyiyah’s businesswomen during the covid-19. The program aimed to improve the entrepreneurial competence of Aisyiyah entrepreneurs during the Covid-19 pandemic. Implementation method: a) An initial study of the potential and business problems experienced by Aisyiyah’s businesswomen and discussing the topics needed. b) Implementation of entrepreneurial competency training, financial management for women entrepreneurs Aisyiyah, as well as assistance in making Business Registration Numbers and Micro Small Business Permits, c) Monitoring and evaluation. The results showed that the level of entrepreneurial competence increases, especially business financial management for Aisyiyah’s businesswomen. b). They are skilled in making financial reports, so they know the financial condition, weaknesses and strengths of the financial sector. c). Having good financial reports makes it easier for Aisyiyah’s businesswomen to get loans for business development. After being assisted in making Business Registration Numbers and Micro Small Business Permits, like business licenses and legality for the businesses of Aisyiyah’s businesswomen, they are more confident and more motivated in developing their business. The competence increase was shown by the high posttest score of 96.86% and much higher than the pre-test score, which only reached 0.083%. The implication was that these results could become input for the Aisyiyah Entrepreneurial School in improving the competence of Aisyiyah businesswomen and being able to develop the economy.

Abstract

Research on career satisfaction and organizational culture is very important because employee career satisfaction can improve employee performance which is supported by the organizational culture. The purpose of this study is to determine the optimization performance to career satisfaction moderated by organizational culture on non-medical permanent employees at the Islamic Hospital of  Semarang. This study used questionnaire with 191 respondents. The results of this study found three aspects; first, self-competence and job demand have a positive and significant impact on career satisfaction. Second, self-competence and job demand have a positive and significant impact on performance. Third, career satisfaction has a positive and significant impact on performance supported by organizational culture at the Islamic Hospital of Semarang.
