Abstract

This paper discusses about effort to improve teacher ability of making media-based teaching using training activity. Participants of this training are fifteen Islamic religious teachers who are members of the KKG PAI Palembang region. Training method is mentoring and guidance in making media-based teaching in form of animations. In addition, participants receive module or tutorial to help them practicing the material while they get back to each school.The results of training is ninety percent trainees successfully create media-based teaching animation using movie maker program that can be implemented in their school.

Abstract

Salah satu tolak ukur keberhasilan pendidikan di perguruan tinggi adalah jumlah dan kualitas alumni yang dihasilkan. Sistem pengelolaan atau penelusuran alumni berbasis komputer dapat meningkatkan pengelolaan dokumentasi alumni. Akan tetapi, dokumentasi alumni tersebut menjadi kurang optimal jika tidak dapat menghasilkan informasi-informasi bagi pengelola dalam memonitor dan mengevaluasi kualitas alumni. Penerapan Electronic Business Intelligence System (E-BIS) dalam pengelolaan data alumni di tingkat fakultas suatu perguruan tinggi menekankan penerapan BIS dengan media Internet sehingga mengedepankan aspek aksesibilitas dari manajemen seperti dekan, ketua jurusan dan bagian kemahasiswaan untuk mendapatkan informasi terkait alumni. Pengelolaan data yang baik dan penyediaan informasi yang maksimal terkait profil alumni, masa tunggu alumni untuk mendapatkan kerja, institusi pengguna alumni dan lain-lain. Selanjutnya mengoptimalkan proses monitoring kualitas alumni untuk peningkatan kualitas alumni secara berkelanjutan. Oleh karena itu, perlu dianalisis tentang perlunya BI dalam proses pengolahan data alumni tersebut. Analisis BI pada Fakultas Ilmu Komputer Universitas Sriwijaya menggunakan business intelligence roadmap meliputi fase justification, planning, dan business analysis mengusulkan solusi BI yang dapat memenuhi kebutuhan informasi pihak eksekutif untuk monitoring data alumni. Kebutuhan informasi meliputi jumlah peserta untuk setiap periode wisuda berdasarkan program studi, angkatan dan jenjang; tren IPK dan masa studi alumni per setiap periode wisuda serta laporan relasi atau keterhubungan antara IPK dan masa studi alumni untuk melihat langkah-langkah dalam meningkatkan kualitas alumni.

Abstract

The increasingly dynamic competition in the handmade accessories retail sector encourages SMEs to manage promotional strategies more effectively in order to retain customers. Social media has become one of the primary channels for shaping brand perception and value, which ultimately influence customer loyalty. This study aims to examine the effect of social media promotion on customer loyalty using the Brand Equity framework proposed by Aaker and Keller, with a case study of Dekabeads. The research adopts a quantitative approach using Partial Least Squares–Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with SmartPLS. The respondents consist of 169 customers who have previously made purchases. The results indicate that social media promotion has a significant effect on customer engagement, brand equity, customer satisfaction, and customer loyalty. Directly, social media promotion is proven to enhance customer loyalty. In addition, there are indirect effects through increased customer engagement, strengthened brand equity, and improved customer satisfaction as mediating variables. The R-square value of 0.748 indicates that the model explains 74.8% of the variance in customer loyalty. These findings highlight that optimizing social media promotion in alignment with brand equity development plays a crucial role in fostering sustainable customer loyalty.

Abstract

The rapid advancement of information technology in the digital era has triggered significant changes across various aspects of life, including the e-commerce sector. This study aims to analyze the level of user satisfaction with the Shopee PayLater system using the User Experience Questionnaire (UEQ) method. The research was motivated by the increasing use of PayLater services in e-commerce and the importance of evaluating user experience to improve system quality. This study employed a quantitative method using the User Experience Questionnaire (UEQ) approach, which consists of six dimensions: attractiveness, perspicuity, efficiency, dependability, stimulation, and novelty. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 100 students from the Faculty of Computer Science at Sriwijaya University and analyzed using the UEQ Data Analysis Tools. The results indicate that Shopee PayLater achieved positive user satisfaction across all UEQ dimensions. The highest scores were obtained in perspicuity (2.03), efficiency (1.89), dependability (1.89), and attractiveness (1.66), indicating that Shopee PayLater is easy to understand, efficient to use, and capable of providing user comfort. Meanwhile, the stimulation (1.65) and novelty (1.56) dimensions still require improvement through feature development and service innovation to create a more engaging user experience. In addition, the benchmark results show that all dimensions fall within the excellent category and are included in the top 10% of benchmark results, indicating a very high-quality user experience. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that Shopee PayLater provides an excellent user experience overall. However, the stimulation and novelty aspects still need enhancement through feature innovation and interface improvements to make the service more attractive and less monotonous for users.

Abstract

Information technology (IT) has transformed ticketing systems in public transportation and other service industries. The Access by KAI online application, developed by PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero), facilitates train ticket purchases. This application features electronic boarding, travel itinerary information, and ticket booking services, thereby streamlining the user’s travel experience. However, users still raise concerns regarding the usability of the application. This study employs the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) framework to assess user acceptance of the Access by KAI application. This quantitative study collected data from Access by KAI users through a questionnaire survey. Actual System Use (ASU) serves as the dependent variable, while Perceived Ease of Use (PEOU), Perceived Usefulness (PU), Attitude Toward Use (ATU), and Behavioral Intention (BI) function as independent and mediating variables. The data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) with SmartPLS software. The results show that four out of five hypotheses are supported, while one is not. The analysis indicates that Perceived Usefulness and Perceived Ease of Use significantly influence Attitude Toward Use and Perceived Usefulness. Another important finding is that Behavioral Intention and Attitude Toward Use have a strong influence on Actual System Use. However, the model does not demonstrate a significant effect for one of the hypothesized relationships. Overall, the findings suggest that users’ attitudes and intentions toward using the Access by KAI application are influenced by their perceptions of its ease of use and the benefits it provides. This study is expected to provide PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) with evaluative insights to enhance service quality, improve user acceptance, and increase the usability of the Access by KAI application.
