Abstract

This paper discusses about effort to improve teacher ability of making media-based teaching using training activity. Participants of this training are fifteen Islamic religious teachers who are members of the KKG PAI Palembang region. Training method is mentoring and guidance in making media-based teaching in form of animations. In addition, participants receive module or tutorial to help them practicing the material while they get back to each school.The results of training is ninety percent trainees successfully create media-based teaching animation using movie maker program that can be implemented in their school.

Abstract

Salah satu tolak ukur keberhasilan pendidikan di perguruan tinggi adalah jumlah dan kualitas alumni yang dihasilkan. Sistem pengelolaan atau penelusuran alumni berbasis komputer dapat meningkatkan pengelolaan dokumentasi alumni. Akan tetapi, dokumentasi alumni tersebut menjadi kurang optimal jika tidak dapat menghasilkan informasi-informasi bagi pengelola dalam memonitor dan mengevaluasi kualitas alumni. Penerapan Electronic Business Intelligence System (E-BIS) dalam pengelolaan data alumni di tingkat fakultas suatu perguruan tinggi menekankan penerapan BIS dengan media Internet sehingga mengedepankan aspek aksesibilitas dari manajemen seperti dekan, ketua jurusan dan bagian kemahasiswaan untuk mendapatkan informasi terkait alumni. Pengelolaan data yang baik dan penyediaan informasi yang maksimal terkait profil alumni, masa tunggu alumni untuk mendapatkan kerja, institusi pengguna alumni dan lain-lain. Selanjutnya mengoptimalkan proses monitoring kualitas alumni untuk peningkatan kualitas alumni secara berkelanjutan. Oleh karena itu, perlu dianalisis tentang perlunya BI dalam proses pengolahan data alumni tersebut. Analisis BI pada Fakultas Ilmu Komputer Universitas Sriwijaya menggunakan business intelligence roadmap meliputi fase justification, planning, dan business analysis mengusulkan solusi BI yang dapat memenuhi kebutuhan informasi pihak eksekutif untuk monitoring data alumni. Kebutuhan informasi meliputi jumlah peserta untuk setiap periode wisuda berdasarkan program studi, angkatan dan jenjang; tren IPK dan masa studi alumni per setiap periode wisuda serta laporan relasi atau keterhubungan antara IPK dan masa studi alumni untuk melihat langkah-langkah dalam meningkatkan kualitas alumni.

Abstract

DISKOMINFO OKU Regency provides recommendations for the establishment of telecommunication towers. Then do the planning and arrangement of telecommunication towers. However, this is still done manually based on map visualization in printed books, so when changes occur, you have to reprint the book, and you have to re-plan with Microsoft Excel, which makes the process more difficult and time consuming. In addition, there is no digital tower information service causing a lack of information for tower providers, so that the construction of towers has not been properly organized. So the solution to this problem is to build a system that can manage data, can map telecommunication towers and can plan the need for shared towers for the next 5 years by taking into account population, cellular service users, traffic requirements, number of BTS and tower coverage radius, and can provides information on checking coordinates by applying the haversine method which is useful so that the construction of new towers can be properly arranged in the system, where the system is made based on a website with a design using the waterfall method. The results of this study are an application that can assist the process of planning and arrangement of towers, both visual maps, tower requirements, checking coordinates and so on, which is done computerized.
