Abstract

The problem on this research was that the low score of students’ learning on social science study. There werestill a lot of students that did not understand basic concepts and tended to memorize examples. It was showed by58,07% from 31 students achieving minimum criteria completeness (KKM) from students’ test score in IVCclass of SDN 108 Pekanbaru for Koperasi subject. The students’ average score was 62,4, and the KKM stated byschool was 68. Based on this problem it was needed to do an action research using cooperative learning modelsTeams Games Tournaments (TGT) type. This research aims to know whether the implementation of cooperativelearning models Teams Games Tournaments (TGT) type can improve students’ social science learningoutcomes at IVC class of SDN 108 Pekanbaru in 2013/2014 with 31students. This research was done in twocycles. First cycle consists of three meetings with one daily test and first tournament, and cycle II consists ofthree meetings with one daily test and second tournament. Instruments to collect data in this research areteacher’s observation sheets, students’ observation sheet, and tests. By implementing using cooperative learningmodels Teams Games Tournaments (TGT) type can improve students’ mathematics learning outcomes.Percentage of completeness in basic score was 54,8% (62,40 in average), and it changed into 77,4% (75,6 inaverage) in cycle I and 87,1% (81,1 in average) in cycle II. Percentage of teacher’ activity in cycle I was 81,9%and 92,3% in cycle II. Then percentage of students’ activity in cycle I was 75,4% and 92,2% in cycle II. Fromthose data it proves that the implementation of cooperative learning models Teams Games Tournaments (TGT)type can improve students’ learning outcomes at IVC class of SDN 108 Pekanbaru.Key Words : cooperative teaching and learning model, Teams Games Tournaments (TGT),learning outcomes

Abstract

This research aims to develop, know the feasibility test, and see teacher responses and student responses to Miss PPL (Advanced Microsoft Power Point) learning media at elementary school. The media was developed by using Microsoft Power Point 2010 applications. The research method used was a development method with an ADDIE model (Analysis-Design-Develop-Implement-Evaluate). The data obtained were analyzed descriptively quantitative. The result of this study obtained information about the feasibility of the product assessed by the validator from 86.26 with highly feasible category in draft 1 increasing to 95.57 with highly feasible category in draft 2. Teacher response data  was 84.38 with a very good category and student responses score 95.89 with a very good category. Based on the result of the research, it can be concluded that Miss PPL learning media (Advanced Microsoft Power Point) developed is suitable for use and increases the diversity of social science learning media, especially in the diversity of Indonesian society.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh rendahnya hasil menulis pemulaan siswa dalam mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia di kelas II sdn 164 Pekanbaru. Nilai rata-rata yang diperoleh siswa sebelum dilakukannya pembelajaran dengan menggunakan media kartu kata adalah adalah 72.7 sehingga belum mencapai Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal yang ditetapkan yaitu 75. tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kemampuan menulis pemulaan siswa kelas II SDN 164 Pekanbaru. Jenis penelitian PTK. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah Teknik kuantitatif deskriptif. Penelitian ini dilakukan sebanyak 2 siklus. Data yang dikumpulkan pada penelitian ini adalah data aktivitas guru dan siswa serta data tes hasil menulis siswa pada ulangan harian disetiap siklus. hasil menulis pemulaan siswa kelas II SDN 164 Pekanbaru mengalami peningkatan yaitu dari skor dasar 72.7 meningkat pada siklus I menjadi 74.67 dengan presentase peningkatan 2.7%, kemudian pada siklus II kembali mengalami peningkatan menjadi 91.33% dengan presentase peningkatan 25.62%. Dilihat dari hasil penelitian tersebut maka disimpulkan bahwa media kartu kata dapat meningkatkan hasil menulis pemulaan siswa kelas II SDN 164 Pekanbaru dan hasil belajar siswa mengalami peningkatan setelah menggunakan media kartu kata dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia.

Abstract

lapbook learning media. The research method uses the 4 D research and development model consists of four stages: define, design, develop, and disseminate. The research instrument used attitude scale measurement parameters raised by Likert. This research produces lapbook learning media which is used in thematic learning in elementary schools. The development of lapbook learning media has been developed through the stages of validation by expert judgment with an average value of 88.87% with a very decent category. Material experts give a score of 87%, linguists 85%, 88.5% presentation and graphic experts give a score of 95 all with very decent categories. After being tested for a limited test in grade 1 elementary school the response value of 84.50% was obtained with a very good category. From the research data it can be concluded that this lapbook learning media has very good quality as a medium for thematic learning in low grade
