Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh banyaknya siswa sekolah dasar yang belum memiliki kemampuan membaca pemahaman dengan baik. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan isi terhadap stimulasi buku ajar tematik SD./MI kelas IV tema 3 untuk menumbuhkan kemampuan membaca pemahaman siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan deskriptif. Jenis penelitian yang dilakukan yaitu penelitian analisis dokumen (documentary analysis). Dokumen yang dianalisis adalah buku ajar tematik kelas IV tema 3 edisi revisi tahun 2017 yang terdiri dari buku guru dan buku siswa. Informan utama dalam penelitian ini adalah buku guru dan buku siswa. Sedangkan objek formil dalam penelitian ini adalah kemampuan membaca pemahaman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa buku ajar tematik kelas IV tema 3 sudah memuat stimulus dalam menumbuhkan kemampuan membaca pemahaman siswa. Stimulasi yang terdapat dalam buku ajar tematik ini berupa perintah-perintah yang merangsang siswa agar melakukan kegiatan-kegiatan untuk mencapai kemampuan membaca pemahaman.

Abstract

Science learning currently emphasizes students to be able to master 21st century competencies. 21st century abilities as well as the demands of advancing science and technology education require teachers as educators to be able to generate creative ideas in designing teaching materials and teaching media needed. One application that teachers can use to help the learning process is a Canva-based animated learning video. This study aims to describe the implementation of science learning using Canva-based video media in class VI SDN Inpres Kala. The type of research used is qualitative research with descriptive methods. The data in this study were obtained from observations and interviews. The results showed that with the learning video, students felt a new atmosphere in learning, because so far their learning was only focused on thematic books. The use of the Canva application in making learning videos, in addition to producing videos that are interesting for students, is also easy for teachers to use.

Abstract

This study aims to design a science comprehension assessment instrument for grade IV force and motion material in terms of validity, reliability, difficulty level test, and differentiation of questions, and effectiveness test for multiple choice questions. This research is a development research of Borg & Gall's RDR (Research Development Research) model. The subject of this research assessment is a science comprehension assessment instrument. The data collection method of this research uses an objective test method. The test instrument used is a multiple choice objective test and true false to assess students' understanding of science. The content validity data analysis method uses the content validity coefficient -Aiken's V. The results of this study are the content validity test obtained a score of more than or equal to 0.5 including the high category, the item validity test produced 13 valid test items, the test reliability test of 0.501 including high criteria, the analysis of the differential power of the questions did not obtain questions with very good criteria, 3 good questions, 6 questions were quite good, and 4 questions were bad or not good, the analysis of the level of difficulty obtained the results that there were 9 questions with easy criteria, Based on the results of this study, the science understanding assessment instrument (C2) in the form of multiple choice and true-false test instruments that have been developed is declared to meet the criteria for good instrument quality.
