Abstract

The need of education which is properly accommodated in Constitution Number 20 of 2003 about national education System on article 50, verse 3 which mandate that Government and/or Local Government hold at least one educational unit on whole educational level to be developed as school at international level. After 8 year implementation, through Constitution Court session on Tuesday, January 8, 2013, issued a policy about abolition of international based school. Constitution Court has accepted the complaint which is submitted by Coalition against Commercialization of Education. In its consideration, Constitution Court considers that international school in governmental school is on the contrary to UUD 1945. The purpose of this research is to know about the impact of Constitution Court decision (The Abolition of RSBI/SBI Program) in schools and public institutions in this case about student guardian. This research is also expected to be able to give contribution for knowledge and science especially to research policy in education. The method of this research is qualitative research and case study. This research is held in SDN 26 Argamakmur which is one of Pioneering International School (RSBI). This research uses some informants; they are teachers and administration staffs of SDN 26 Argamakmur, student guardians, the officials of education and culture department of North Bengkulu regency and the officials of education and culture department of regional offices and also some policy experts in the field of education. This research finds out some facts that Constitution Court decision about the revocation of RSBI in SD BI 26 Argamakmur causes the result of psychology pressure for teachers as the spearhead of policy implementer. Before this decision published, the teachers who teach in this school have their own pride to teach in this school. Physically, RSBI School in Argamakmur has some facilities such as computer laboratory, Language laboratory, and ICT room. These facilities need high maintenance fund. Therefore, regional government still has responsibilities toward the impact of status alteration of this school. The alteration of status from RSBI school to regular school results on various impact for society especially students guardian. For the parents who have sent their children to RSBI School, there is a pride form the parents toward their children because they have basic skills that aren’t given in other schools. The skills are active English skill and computer skill. Many parents who have their children study in International Standard Primary School (SD BI) feel disappointed since there won’t be written international standard school in their children’s educational certificate. International predicate is considered as a pride for some parents. The steps taken by school have been based on circular letter of education and culture Minister of Indonesia dated January 30, 2013. Abstract

ABSTRACT Partners in community service activities are PKK RT 2 (partner 1) and PKK RT 5 (Partner2) Kelurahan Kemumu. Base of  discussion result with partners founded: The first problem,   understanding of banana processing diversification was still low. The second problem, partners was unable to processed banana products into varied, unique, interesting and innovative products. The third problem,  the packing skills of partner products was still low. The solution that is planned is 1. Food Diversification counseling  2. Workshope make banana flour and a banana cake. 3. To create attractive and innovative products, a product packing system is also very necessary,  product packing system workshop is planned. The first objective of the Community Service activity is to improve the skills of banana processing diversification,  with a target that 80% of participants  have the skills to process the banana into flour properly. The second goal, partners can make varied, unique, interesting and innovative food from semi-finished ingredients (banana flour). The second activity target is as many as 85% have good skills in processing bananas that are varied, unique, interesting and innovative. The third activity target is 85% of partners have good packing system skills so that the product has a high selling value. The three goals have an outcome in increasing family income. The method of implementation uses a small group and  method workshop by applying a health protocol. As a result of the community service activities, there is an increase in knowledge of the diversification of processed bananas, including banana flour and banana cake. In addition, there is also an increase in skills in packaging systems and an increase in the selling value of processed bananas. The increase in the selling value of processed bananas has an impact on increasing family income. KEYWORDS: Food Diversification, Increasing family income

Abstract

Certification of teachers is an education policy that applied since passed the Law on Teachers and Lecturers No. 14 of 2005. This research discusses the mechanism of certification and post-certification teacher working. This research used a qualitative descriptive approach. Data collected is done by in-depth interviews, obsservasi, methods of visual materials (photographs) and online search. Data analysis was conducted using interactive analysis Miles and Huberman. Based on the research results revealed that the mechanism of certification of teachers in North Bengkulu district has been going well, although still encountered some obstacles in the field. These constraints include: the socialization process in-service teacher still not up to it in view of the false teachers still encountered in filling the A1 format. Found 50% of elementary school in certification of teacher lack participants to have ability on computer information technology and is unable to access the online announcement of certification candidates. Pattern certification portfolio and PLPG considered to have advantages and disadvantages. In general, the performance of elementary school teachers who are already certified educator in SD N N0 17 Argamakmur district, has shown positive changes, although not yet able to satisfy the various parties such as government agencies and private institutions.  Keywords: mechanism, certification of teachers in position, performance

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the sources of stress, resilience indicators of individual candidates in facing stress, the level of stress and techniques to manage stress when candidates failed to gain political stance. The results showed that the source of stress was the political funds issued exceed the financial capacity of the contestants. Source of political funds obtained from the loan was not able to increase their electability because in addition to economic investment, political and social investment was also required. During the post-electoral, contestants who failed underwent stress of mild category to severe stress category. For mild stress contestants only perform a cooling-off was accompanied by a family. While for contestants who were severely depressed, they should be treated in a mental hospital. From the results of this study, it’s recommended the need for the role of political parties in dealing with contestants’ stress. The Government must be present in the stress of candidate problems in terms of policy, namely the duty of political parties and governments to facilitate recovery and mental health. Before the fight, the political parties should provide psychological education for mental preparedness to face the worst.

Abstract

The village of Banyumas has resources in coconut trees, but their utilization is not yet optimal. The fruit of the coconut is only taken for the flesh, while the coconut water is discarded and becomes waste. Coconut water has not been utilized into economically valuable products by the community in Banyumas village, Kerkap district, North Bengkulu regency. Coconut water can be utilized to produce economically valuable products such as nata de coco, syrup, and soy sauce. The aim of the training activities in this Community Service program is to foster innovation and enhance the participants' knowledge about processing coconut water into economically valuable products, so that it can later increase the income for the villagers who develop this scientific innovation. The training on coconut water processing in Banyumas Village uses lecture and practical methods. The result of this coconut water processing training is that participants acquire information, skills, and knowledge about how to make nata de coco, syrup, and soy sauce from coconut water.
