Abstract

Mangrove identification by using the image has been done with the classification model by pixel in the image value. But in this study see the interpretation of Landsat image data to the analysis of the object in the mangrove. Mangrove forests as major ecosystems support life activities in the coastal area and play an important role in maintaining the balance of the biological cycle in the environment. The potential of natural resources needs to be managed and utilized optimally to support the implementation of national development and improving people's welfare. So as to develop the coastal economic continuity with the management of mangrove forests as ecotourism. Identification observation and extensive distribution of mangrove forests in the western coastal city of Bengkulu was conducted in April 2019 by boat. Digital data Landsat 8 OLI (Operational Land Imager) parth / raw 125/63 used to map the mangrove forest. The method used in this study is a controlled multispectral classification Object-Based Image Analysis (OBIA) with the segmentation algorithm. Segmentation is performed using an algorithm Multiresolution Segmentation Segmentation and Spectral Difference. The results of the data analysis of Landsat 8 OLI and validation of field observation data, shows that the accuracy and wide distribution of mangrove forests in the coastal areas west of the city of Bengkulu is 255.24 ha. This method can be made an alternative to identifying information in mapping mangrove vegetation. Mangroves in the coastal areas west of the city of Bengkulu dominated by Rhizophora apiculata, Rhizophora mucronata and relatively good. Abstract

ABSTRAK Gaya hidup masa kini menuntut desain arsitektur, desain interior dan mekanikal elektrikal yang terpadu agar dapat memberi kecepatan gerak/mobilitas serta kemudahan kontrol juga akses dari arah mana pun dan waktu kapan pun. Berbagai elemen dalam bangunan dihadirkan mulai dari cahaya lampu (lighting), pendingin (AC), keamanan pada pintu-jendela (security) dan komunikasi yang mudah hingga peralatan audio video (sound sistem) saling terhubung dan terkoordinasi di dalam satu sistem otomatisasi yang disebut smart building. Air Conditioning (AC) atau alat pengkondisi udara merupakan modifikasi pengembangan dari teknologi mesin pendingin. Alat ini dipakai bertujuan untuk memberikan udara yang sejuk dan menyedi uap air yang dibutuhkan bagi tubuh. Pada dasarnya air conditioner memiliki banyak jenisnya, salah satunya AC sentral. Pada AC jenis ini udara dari ruangan didinginkan pada cooling plant di luar ruangan tersebut, kemudian udara yang telah dingin dialirkan kembali ke dalam ruangan tersebut. Pada penelitian ini penulis mencoba membangun suatu sistem pengendali AC sentral yang terdapat pada gedung pusat teknologi lt.4 PT.INTI dengan metode PID. Sistem ini mampu menerima dan membaca suhu pada ruangan sehingga suhu dalam ruangan dapat terkendali sesuai suhu yang diinginkan. Sistem yang dirancang dapat dikendalikan secara terpusat dengan menggunakan mikrokontroller arduino nano dan menggunakan metode PID yang sudah di program di dalamnya. Sistem pengontrolan valve Actuator SQX61 yang dirancang terdiri dari beberapa input dan output. Input sensor suhu, sensor suhu yang di pakai DS18B20 yang berfungsi untuk mendeteksi gejala perubahan-perubahan suhu di dalam suatu ruangan. Output berupa data ADC 12 bit yang berasal dari arduino nano yang telah diproses terlebih dahulu dangan metode PID yang nanti nya data tersebut untuk mengontrol valve Actuator SQX61. Sistem pengontrolan valve Actuator SQX61 ini mampu melakukan sistem ON/OFF untuk AC sentral yang terdapat pada gedung pusat teknologi lantai 4 PT.INTI. Sistem ini juga mampu mengontrol suhu dalam ruangan dengan metode PID yang telah di program terlebih dahulu. Sistem PID yang diterapkan mampu mencapai set point lebih cepat, presisi, dan lebih stabil dengan menggunakan metode Trail And Error. Various elements of the building has began to developed, started from the lamp light, air conditioner, door-window security system and easy communication access, even the audio video equipment connected to each other and coordinated within an automation system called smart building.Air Conditioning is a modification instruments of the development from the technology of refrigeration system. This tool is used to provide cool air and provide the moisture that body needed. Basically air conditioner has a lot of type, one of example is central air conditioning, this type of air conditioning is used to the cooling inside room using an air that was cooling from the cooling plant that placedoutside the room. In this researchit was trying to build a central air-conditioning control system contained at theGedung Pusat Teknologi4th floor PT.INTI using PID systemmethod.This system was able to receive and read the temperature in the room so that the indoor temperature could be controlled According to need temperature. The system would be designed in order to be able to controlled centrally by using microcontroller arduino uno and using PID methods that have been programmed inside the PID.SQX61 valve Actuator control system that designed consisted of several inputs and outputs.The input temperature sensors, temperature sensors used DS18B20 had function to detect changing indication of temperature inside room.The output data 12-bit ADC were generated from arduino uno that been process using PID method data to control the valve Actuator SQX61. That later these data is required for control the valve Actuator SQX61. Thevalve control sytem SQX61 Actuator was able to make an ON / OFF systemfor central air conditioning located on the 4th floor of Gedung pusat Teknologi PT.INTI, This system also capable to control the temperature inside the room with PID method that has been programmed first. The applied PID systemwas able to reach a set point more quickly, precision , and more stable with using Trail And Error methods. Abstract

ABSTRAK Pada studi ini dilakukan perancangan dan realisasi sistem akuisisi data untuk memonitoring dan mengatur suhu ruangan di Gedung Pusat Teknologi (GPT) lt.4 PT.INTI. Sistem ini diimplementasikan untuk mengatasi kelemahan sistem pendingin di gedung ini yang menggunakan sistem AC sentral di ruangannya, sehingga suhu di setiap ruangan tidak bisa diatur sesuai dengan kebutuhan suhu masing-masing ruangan. Sistem akuisisi data untuk monitoring suhu ruang terdiri dari sensor suhu DS18B20, mikrokontroler Arduino Uno, dan display menggunakan software LabVIEW. Data suhu yang dimonitor dari setiap ruangan dikirimkan secara wireless ke ruang AHU menggunakan modul komunikasi radio NRF24L01. Secara keseluruhan akuisisi data sistem monitoring suhu ruang telah dapat menampilkan data suhu ruang, baik dalam bentuk angka maupun grafik dan telah dapat menyimpan data suhu ruang dalam format excel(.xls) pada komputer. Akan tetapi, sistem ini masih mengalami delay saat pengiriman data dari setiap ruangan ke ruang kontrol sehingga menimbulkan waktu delay time bagi kontroler di ruang kontrol untuk mengatur suhu melalui pengendalian aktuator valve. Dari hasil pengujian monitoring suhu dua buah posisi (ruangan) diperoleh bahwa pembacaan sensor DS18B20 memiliki perbedaan suhu rata-rata dengan nilai referensi yaitu sebesar 2.6°C untuk posisi 1 dan 0.9°C untuk posisi 2. Kata kunci : Arduino Uno, sensor DS18B20, sistem akuisisi data, suhu, wireless. ABSTRACT In this study, we design and implement a data acquisition system to monitor and to control a room temperature in the 4th floor of Gedung Pusat Teknologi (GPT) PT.INTI. This system was implemented to overcome a centralized cooling system in this buildung that could not control a customized room temperature from outside a control room (AHU room). The data acquisition system consist of two temperature sensors DS18B20, a microcontroller Arduino UNO and a LabVIEW software based display system. The monitored temperature data from any room transmitted wirelessly to the AHU room using radio communication module NRF24L01. From testing procedure, we found that the system has been able to display the data room temperature in numerical and graphical format, as well as to record a room temperature data in excel format (.xls) in the computer memory. However, this system is still delaying to send the data from each room to AHU room, that causing a delay for the controller in AHU room to adjust the temperature through a control valve actuator. The results also showed that the temperature sensors read the difference values of temperature relative to the reference thermometer in two different positions, i.e. 2.6°C for position 1 and 0.9°C to position 2. Abstract

The change in crown density is an indication for monitoring its quality. The use of satellite imagery on remote sensing data in the form of Landsat has been carried out. Along with the development of the Landsat series satellite imagery, in this study, Landsat 8 OLI image processing was carried out on May 27, 2019, to analyze the distribution and density of mangroves using vegetation index analysis on the West Coast of Bengkulu City. The mangrove identification stages were carried out using the composite band RGB 564, then the mangrove and non-mangrove objects were separated using the unsupervised classification method. The next step is to analyze mangrove density using the NDVI formula. The results showed that the mangrove area on the West Coast of Bengkulu was 155.24 Ha. The analysis of the vegetation index in the mangrove area showed that dense density classes dominated the mangrove density conditions

Abstract

First report of Begomovirus infection on papaya in Bengkulu, Indonesia. A field survey was conducted during 2019, wefound a severe systemic yellow mosaic, striped green mosaic on leaves petiole, green spots on the fruit of papaya, leafmalformation, and stunting symptoms on three papaya cultivation area in Rejang Lebong, Kepahiang, Bengkulu Tengah, andSeluma, Bengkulu Province, Indonesia. A begomo-like virus was inferred to be the possible cause of the virus-disease-likesymptoms. The study aimed to identify the causal of those typical symptoms on papaya. PCR using universal primer fortranscriptional activator protein (TrAp) and replication-associated protein (Rep) gene of Begomovirus successfully amplifiedthe DNA fragments of 900 bp in all 10 detected samples, except for samples with leaf malformation and stunting symptoms. Itis indicating that those typical symptoms on papaya is associated with Begomovirus infection, while the causal of leafmalformation and stunting is unknown yet. This work is the first report of Begomovirus infected papaya in Indonesia. Severedisease incidence caused by this pathogen was observed on papaya plants in Bengkulu Province that was in the range of 42–100%. This finding is a precious information to be used for identification, and characterization the species of the virus,determining control strategies against the disease.

Abstract

Desa Serangai merupakan Desa Pesisir yang berada di Kabupaten Bengkulu Utara, Provinsi Bengkulu. Dengan mayoritas pekerjaan masyarakat di Desa serangai sebagai nelayan, yang memiliki berbagai potensi dari hasil laut, salah satu potensi yang menonjol dan dapat diberdayakan dengan mudah di Desa Serangai yaitu Hasil tangkapan nelayan seperti Ikan tongkol, Dalam rangka meningkatkan nilai ekonomi suatu produk, ikan tersebut dapat dibuat menjadi produk olahan sehingga memiliki harga jual yang lebih tinggi dibandingankan dengan ikan mentah. Abon termasuk salah satu makanan yang sehat dan tahan lama yang memiliki protein tinggi dan memiliki kadar kolesterol yang rendah. Tujuan dari pembuatan abon ikan Tongkol ini yaitu untuk mengembangkan potensi Desa Serangai dari hasil tangkapan nelayan, menghasilkan produk pangan padat gizi protein, serta membuka lahan usaha baru dalam rangka meningkatkan ekonomi masyarakat Desa Serangai

Abstract

This service aims to increase the knowledge and skills of the Jaya Bersama Farmer Group in Tanjung Dalama Village, South Curup Subdistrict, Rejang Lebong Regency, in coffee breeding using the cuttings method by giving onion extract as a root growth stimulant. The implementation method was carried out through a series of theoretical and practical training, focusing on the coffee seedling stage. Farmer groups were involved in intensive counselling and training activities, including the delivery of theory on coffee seedling, demonstration of the application of the cuttings method, and application of shallot extract. Furthermore, a field practice session was held at the farmer group leader's house. The results showed a significant improvement in the Jaya Bersama Farmer Group's understanding and skills related to coffee breeding using the cuttings method and onion extract application. They were able to apply these techniques well, producing high-quality coffee seedlings that have the potential to increase the productivity and income of the farmer group as a whole. Thus, this service successfully empowered the farmer group through innovation in their farming practices.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian ini dilaksanakan di Desa Padang Jaya, Kecamatan Padang Jaya, Kabupaten Bengkulu Utara, dengan beberapa tahapan yaitu Sosialisasi dan Pendidikan Awal, Pelatihan Praktis Budidaya Organik, serta Evaluasi dan Pengembangan Program. Tahap pertama mencakup sosialisasi mengenai bahaya penggunaan bahan kimia dalam pertanian dan manfaat budidaya sayuran organik melalui seminar, lokakarya, dan diskusi kelompok terarah. Tahap kedua adalah pelatihan praktis tentang teknik budidaya sayuran organik, yang meliputi demonstrasi pembuatan pupuk kompos, penggunaan pestisida alami, dan teknik pengolahan tanah yang ramah lingkungan. Tahap terakhir adalah evaluasi program untuk menilai efektivitas dan dampak kegiatan, termasuk pengumpulan data dan analisis hasil budidaya serta survei kepuasan dan dampak ekonomi bagi peserta. Hasil dari program ini menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam pengetahuan dan keterampilan masyarakat mengenai budidaya sayuran organik, dengan 85% peserta melaporkan pemahaman yang lebih baik. Penggunaan bahan kimia dalam pertanian berkurang hingga 70% untuk pestisida dan 60% untuk pupuk, digantikan oleh penggunaan pupuk organik dan pestisida alami. Indikator keberhasilan ini didukung oleh antusiasme dan komitmen masyarakat dalam pelaksanaan kegiatan pengamdian ini.

Abstract

Kelompok Wanita Tani Rawa Indah di Bengkulu, dengan anggota aktif sekitar 10 orang, memanfaatkan lahan pekarangan untuk meningkatkan produktivitas pertanian dan kesejahteraan anggotanya. Kelompok Wanita Tani ini memilih kangkung sebagai komoditas utama karena kemudahan pemeliharaan dan waktu panen yang singkat. Tantangan yang dihadapi meliputi banyaknya ternak warga dan penurunan produktivitas anggota. Kegiatan ini menggunakan Mikroorganisme Lokal sebagai solusi ramah lingkungan untuk mengurangi ketergantungan pada pupuk kimia, meningkatkan kesuburan tanah, dan menghasilkan sayuran sehat. Kegiatan mencakup pengenalan anggota, penggarapan lahan, penanaman, pembuatan MOL, pemeliharaan, panen, dan pemasaran hasil panen. Strategi pemasaran dilakukan melalui media sosial dan promosi langsung di sekitar Kelompok Wanita Tani Rawa Indah serta wilayah Universitas Dehasen Bengkulu. Hasil kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kualitas panen, kekompakan anggota, dan kesejahteraan masyarakat setempat.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe the activities of agricultural consultants in increasing agricultural production in South Seluma District, Seluma Regency in terms of concrete aspects and reliable aspects using a qualitative descriptive approach. Data collection methods include interviews, observation, and collection. From the results of the study, it can be concluded that agricultural extension activities in improving the physical appearance of crops (Tangibel) include aspects of the facilities used by agricultural extension workers which are quite good or help produce new plants in the sense of. from reliable information. Agricultural Extension for each member of the Farmer Group. In this indicator, agricultural extension workers are quite capable of providing reliable service by providing new information, being responsible and implementing it when the information is in the form of a government contract or program, and increasing the institutional capacity of farmer groups, economic institutions, and agricultural support.
