Abstract

Penelitian mengenai kelayakan usaha ternak domba di Kecamatan Kertajati, Kabupaten Majalengka dilaksanakan pada bulan Juni hingga Agustus 2022. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kelayakan usaha ternak domba dilokasi penelitian dan menganalisis faktor yang berpengaruh terhadap produksi domba. Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah metode analisis deskriptif, analisis kelayakan, dan analisis regresi linier berganda. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode purposive sampling sebanyak 85 sampel peternak domba. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ketersediaan dari faktor input (bibit, kandang, pakan, obat-obatan, dan modal) terhadap usaha ternak domba di daerah penelitian mudah diperoleh. Sedangkan tenaga kerja tidak tersedia dikarenakan hanya anggota keluarga saja dan tidak diberikan upah. Total rata – rata populasi >20 ekor menghasilkan pendapatan sebesar Rp. -24.724.300/Tahun. Hasil kelayakan usaha nya yaitu nilai R/C Ratio sebesar 0,42. Rata – rata B/C Ratio sebesar -0,58. Rata – rata BEP Unit adalah -4 dan rata – rata BEP Harga Rp. -4.242.400, Rata – rata PP dalam 1 tahun sebesar 1. Rata – rata ROI dalam 1 tahun sebesar 1,70%. Penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa usaha ternak domba di daerah penelitian belum layak dikembangkan secara ekonomis. Faktor produksi ternak domba yaitu pakan hijauan dan obat – obatan berpengaruh positif terhadap produksi ternak domba, sedangkan kandang berpengaruh negatif.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui alur rantai pasok dan mengetahuimarjin pemasaran. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode analisis deskriptifkuantitatif dan sumber pengumpulan sumber pengumpulan data adalah data primer,teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dengan cara survey. Penentuan sampelpada penelitian ini menggunakan teknik sampling snowball sebanyak 20 orangyang terlibat dalam rantai domba di Kecamatan Kertajati, Hasil penelitian inimenenjukan bahwa rantai nilai pemasaran di Kecamatan Kertajati memiliki nilaitertinggi pada Peternak domba Petet dan Dara. Karena itu hasil penjualan dombapetet dan dara dianggap sebagai keuntungan. Keuntungan rata-rata dari Peternakdomba petet Rp 1.000.000/ekor, dan untuk domba dara Rp 1.300.000/ekor.Sedangkan dari keseluruhan pelaku rantai pasok terletak pada pedagang dombasebesar Rp 500.000/ekor, karena pedagang tidak memerlukan biaya yang terlalutinggi, sedangkan harga di pengaruhi oleh permintaan di tingkat konsumen. Untukpelaku rantai pasok Bandar memiliki keuntungan sekitar Rp 100.000 s/d Rp200.000/ekor. Dan pelaku rantai Pasar memiliki keuntungan sekitar Rp 50.00 s/dRp 100.000/ekor. Dan untuk pelaku rantai Rumah Potong sebesar Rp 100.000/ekor.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the analysis of household income, the contribution of sheep farming to farmer income, and the factors that influence the size of the contribution of sheep farming. This research was carried out from June to August 2022. The analytical methods used were descriptive analysis, contribution analysis and multiple linear regression analysis. Respondents were determined using a purposive sampling method of 85 respondents. The variables observed were the number of working hours, number of workers, and number of livestock. The research results show that the average income of sheep farming is IDR 2.289.513/year. Meanwhile, the average income from breeders' business is IDR 7.730.746 /year. The sheep farming business contributes 29.61% to the total income of farmers in Kertajati District, Majalengka Regency. The coefficient of determination (R2) was obtained at 0.039. which means that the number of livestock, the amount of working hours, and the number of workers influence the contribution of sheep livestock by 3.9%, so Y is influenced by 96.1% by other factors outside the independent variable.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to analyze the effect of adding red guava extract on the chemical characteristics and shelf life of pasteurized goat milk with the addition of red guava extract (Psidium guajava L). This research was carried out using an experimental method using a completely randomized design consisting of 5 treatments and 4 replications. Chemical characteristics were carried out using quantitative descriptive methods. The treatment used was the addition of 0%, 3%, 6%, 9% and 12% red guava extract. The research results showed that the chemical characteristics of pasteurized goat's milk with the addition of red guava extract were the highest water content at P4, 82.91% and the lowest at P3, namely 81.32%, the highest ash content at P1, 1.01% and the lowest at P4, namely 0 .76%, the highest protein content at P1 3.65% and the lowest at P3, namely 3.14%, the highest fat content at P0 4.73% and the lowest at P4, namely 4.32%, the highest carbohydrate content at P3 10.28 % and the lowest was in P4, namely 8.74%, and the highest vitamin C level was in P4, 35.03 mg/100g and the lowest was in P1, namely 26.29 mg/100g. The shelf life of goat milk at 11°C at P0, P1 and P2 is up to 5 days of storage, while for P3 and P4 it can be stored for 3 days. The conclusion is that P1 is the best treatment in producing the chemical characteristics of pasteurized goat's milk, while P4 is the treatment that produces the highest levels of vitamin C.
