Abstract

ABTRACTRousseau invited researcher about 257 years in the past, to back to the nature.  It will purify the image of human beings trough spiritual activities.  In this case, human beings will fell the attendance of God in the universe and daily life.  This view is developed by Qodiriyah Tarekat Followers.Kata Kunci: Studi Perkembangan, Tarekat Qodiriyah, Pengaruh Dakwah.

Abstract

Sains modern menjadi tantangan bagi al-Qur’an. Jika al-Qur’an berdimensi absolut dan mutlak maka sebaliknya pengetahuan modern bersifat dinamis dan berubah seiring dengan penemuan-penemuan sains. Lalu bagaimana jika al-Qur’an dipahami dari kacamata sains modern? Artikel ini menjelaskan bahwa salah satu cara memahami al-Qur’an adalah melalui sains modern. Dengan kata lain, tidak ada pertentangan antara al-Qur’an dan sains. Bahkan, jika umat Islam mau memahami al-Qur’an secara mendalam sudah barang tentu akan menemukan kebenaran dan pembuktian sains di dalamnya. Modern scientific knowledge provides a challenge to the Qur’an. Whereas the Qur’an is immutable and contains unquestioned truth, the former changes in accordance to the invention so that referring to its relativity vis a vis absolute underpinning character of the Qur’an. What if the scientific approach is applied to the Qur’an? In so doing, the Qur’an is situated in the light of modern knowledge or in other words to understand the absolute within the lens of realtive ones. It is aargued that to deeply understand the Qur’an through the lens of modern knowledge is a waay for Muslim to comprehend divine massage of God. The Qur’an is a comprehensive book of knowledge by which believers could learn all form of knowledge including the mutable ones.

Abstract

Motto “Lebih Baik Madrasah – Madrasah Lebih Baik” secara simbolis dicanangkan bagi seluruh madrasah di Indonesia oleh kementerian agama pada hari amal baktinya yang ke-69 tanggal 27 Desember 2014. Sejalan dengan visi tersebut, MTsN Turen Kab. Malang telah memiliki motto “progress in togetherness” yang berarti maju dalam kebersamaan, yaitu di mana madrasah mampu menciptakan budaya kebersamaan dan kesetaraan antara peran laki-laki dan perempuan dalam memperoleh hak untuk menyampaikan gagasan, ide dan berkaya untuk kemajuan pendidikan anak bangsa. Semenjak berdirinya pada tahun 1948 hingga saat ini, MTsN Turen mengalami masa perkembangan yang sangat pesat justru saat dipimpin oleh dua periode kepemimpinan kepala madrasah perempuan, yaitu Hj. Siti Hamidah, M.Ag dan Hj Maria Ulfa, M.Ag. Artikel ini menengahkan asumsi bahwa melaui pemberdayaan pendidikan berbasis gender dan pendidikan multikultural, MTsN Turen mampu menjadi salah satu madrasah unggulan dan paling berprestasi di kabupaten Malang dengan visinya: mewujudkan  sumber daya insani yang beriman, bertaqwa, cerdas dan unggul.

Abstract

Reading implies something complex which needs the students to experience, foresee, examine, and admit information based on their background of knowledge. It will be more complex if they lack of Higher Order Thinking Skill (HOTS). HOTS improves reading comprehension and in consequence, the teachers must create a teaching and learning activities that encourage the implementation of HOTS by giving the students high questions found in a suitable textbook. This research was done in order to know the number of reading comprehension questions’ level between HOTS and LOTS. This research conducted using qualitative research approach and content analysis research design because this research focused on analyzing a textbook entitled “Bahasa Inggris” SMA/MA/SMK/MK for 12th grade students published by Ministry of Education and Culture in 2018. The result of this research found 142 reading comprehension questions in total and 83% of them are categorized as LOTS while 17% categorized as HOTS. It indicated that this textbook concentrated more on lower-level than higher-level thinking questions. In conclusion, the teacher must construct their own reading comprehension questions in order to fill the need of the students’ HOTS.

Abstract

People spend about 6 hours a day using a gadget, and if it is not controlled properly, their handphones can lead to negative impacts. As the answer, students today are different from learners in the past who focus more on routine activities by reading written sources. In this modern era, they have various accesses to determine the learning resources they want and need for themselves. Furthermore, optimizing ICT use is the main priority in improving Arabic learning quality. It is qualitative research. The study results show that the Arabic language teaching-learning process in the excellent class of MTsN 6 Tulungagung has been using various ICT media. Its implementation has some problems, including the lack of facilities or infrastructure and the teachers’ problem in mastering technology. This research indicates that using ICT is one step forward in the world of education.
