Abstract

This study was aimed to determine the differences: (1) the difference of critical thinking skills of students' that using Inquiry Training and Direct Instruction. (2) The difference of critical thinking skills among students who at high scientific attitude and students who at low scientific attitude. (3) To see if there is interaction between inquiry learning model of the scientific attitude students' to increase the ability to critical thinking. This is a quasi experimental research. Which students of private junior high school Two Raya Kahean District Simalungun. Population choose random sample of each class. Instrument used consisted of: (1) test the scientific attitude of students through a questionnaire with 25 statements questionnaire number (2) test the critical thinking skills in the form of descriptions by 9 questions. The data were analyzed according to ANAVA. It showed that: (1) There are differences in students' critical thinking of skills achievement Inquiry Training model and Direct Instruction model, (2) there was a difference of students' critical thinking in scientific attitude at high is better than who thought there is a difference of students' critical thinking in scientific attitude at low. (3) There was no interaction between Inquiry Training model and Direct Instruction with the scientific attitude students' to increase student’s critical thinking of skills.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims at determining the significant effect of Team Assisted Individualization learning model with experimental assistance on science process skills on the subject matter of measurement in class X semester I of the Belawan Conscience High School Academic Year 2019/2020. This type of research is a quasi-experimental study to determine whether there is any influence or consequences of something caused by the subject, that is students. The population of this study is all students of class X semester I of SMA Belawan Conscience consisting of 4 classes. Class X-1 is as an Experiment class amounted to 25 people who were taught with the Team Assisted Individualization learning model assisted with experiments and Class X-3 as a control class amounted to 25 people who were taught by direct learning. The instruments in this study amounted to 8 items in the form of essays that have been tested for validity, reliability, difficulty level, and different power. From the results of the study, it was obtained that the sample came from a homogeneous population and was normally distributed. The research results obtained an average value of experimental pretest lower than the average value of the control class pretest. From the results of the two-party t test obtained t count < t table shows that the initial ability of the two classes is the same. Then given a different treatment and then held a post-test. After being tested, the average Team Assisted Individualization score is higher than the average value of Direct Instruction. The results of one-party t test results obtained t count > t table, this shows that there is a significant influence/effect on the use of the Team Assisted Individualization learning model assisted with experiments on science process skills in the subject matter of measurement in class X semester I of SMA Nurani Belawan Academic Year 2019/2020.

Abstract

This study aims at determining the students' conceptual knowledge improvement in using the Problem Based Learning model. This study is quasi-experimental with the design of the pretest-posttest group, in which the population is the tenth grade students of Yapim Taruna High School. The instrument in this study is in the form of essays that had been tested for validity, reliability, level of difficulty and different power. The results of this study show an improvement of students' conceptual knowledge in the experimental class by using a model of problem based learning is better than the control class

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh yang signifikan penggunaan model Quantum Teaching tehadap hasil belajar fisika pada materi pokok listrik dinamis. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah quasi eksperimen dengan desain penelitian two group pretes-postes. Populasi dalam  penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas X SMA Kebangsaan Medan T.P. 2016/2017 yang terdiri dari 3 kelas dengan jumah 103 siswa. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik cluster random sampling, dimana siswa kelas X-1 dengan jumlah 33 siswa sebagai kelas eksperimen yang diajar dengan Model Quantum Teaching dan siswa kelas X-2 dengan jumlah 33.siswa yang diajar dengan Model pembelajaran langsung. Hasil penelitian untuk kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol menunjukkan bahawa data berdidstribusi normal dan homogen. Untuk uji kesamaan rata-rata pretes didapat memiliki kemampuan awal yang sama, dengan menggunakan uji t dua pihak. Kemudian diberi perlakuan untuk kelas eksperimen yang diajar dengan model Quantum teaching dan di kelas kontrol dengan model pembelajaran langsung dengan hasil nilai rata-rata postes untuk kelas eksperimen diperoleh 72 dengan standar deviasi 9,161 dan nilai rata-rata post-tes untuk kelas kontrol diperoleh 66,424 dengan standar deviasi 8,302. Dari hasil uji t satu pihak dapat disimpulkan ada pengaruh yang signifikan  penggunaan model quantum teaching terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada materi pokok listrik dinamis siswa kelas X Semester II SMA Kebangsaan Medan

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh yang signifikan Model pembelajaran inkuiri terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada materi pokok elastisitas dan hukum hooke di kelas XI Semester I SMA Swasta Gajah Mada Medan T.P 2020. Jenis penelitian ini adalah quasi eksperimen dengan populasi seluruh siswa kelas X1 SMA Swasta Gajah Mada Medan, yang terdiri dari dua kelas dengan seluru jumlah siswa adalah 31 orang Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan acak kelas (cluster random sampling), dan yang menjadi sample dalam penelitian ini, yaitu kelas X1-1 sebagai kelas eksperimen yang diajar dengan model pembelajaran inkuiri terhadap hasil belajar, dan kelas X1-2 sebagai kelas kontrol yang diajar dengan model pembelajaran langsung. Instrumen penelitian adalah Pilihan ganda Tes 14 soal yang divalidkan oleh Dosen validator dan telah diuji cobakan di kelas XII untuk mengetahui Validitas, Reliabilitas, Tingkat Kesukaran, dan Daya Pembeda Soal. Hasil penelitian diperoleh nilai rata-rata pretes kelas eksperimen adalah 39,05 dan standar deviasinya 10,35 dan nilai rata-rata kelas kontrol 37,33 dan standar deviasinya 10,33 Berdasarkan uji homogenitas pretes diperoleh data Fhitung = 1,00 dan Ftabel = 2,48. Karena Fhitung 1,00 < Ftabel 2,48 maka data penelitian homogen. Kemudian uji homogenitas postes diperoleh data Fhitung = 1,03 dan Ftabel = 2,48. Karena Fhitung 1,03 < Ftabel 2,48 maka data penelitian homogen. Selanjutnya hasil uji statistik (Uji t dua pihak) diperoleh thitung < ttabel (0,45 < 2,05), maka hal ini menunjukan bahwa kemampuan awal kedua kelas adalah sama. kemudian dilakukan uji statistik (Uji t satu pihak) di peroleh hasil thitung 4,26 dan ttabel = 1,70), karena thitung > ttabel hal ini menunjukan ada pengaruh yang signifikan penggunaan model pembelajaran inkuiri terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada materi pokok elastisitas dan hukum hooke di kelas XI Semester I SMA Swasta Gajah Mada Medan T.P 2020/2021.
