Abstract

Feeding behaviour in toddlers is very important for physical growth and cognitive development. This study aims to describe the eating patterns of toddlers, influencing factors, and provide recommendations to overcome eating behaviour problems. The method used was descriptive quantitative with a sample of 30 mothers who have children aged 3-5 years in Jati Rejo Village Mawar Hamlet. Data were collected through a structured questionnaire. The results showed that 73.3% of toddlers ate 3-5 times a day and 90% were given food regularly. The foods consumed were varied, but challenges such as picky eating (53.3%) and preference for sweet foods (63.3%) still exist. Family factors, such as nutrition knowledge and shared eating habits, positively influenced children's eating behaviour. This study emphasises the importance of parental education on balanced nutrition and management of picky eating to support children's growth and development.

Abstract

Conflict is a common dynamic within student groups, often arising from differences in background, perspectives, and communication styles. This study aims to analyze the role of communication in resolving group conflicts among students at the State Islamic University of North Sumatra. Using a descriptive quantitative approach, 36 active students with group work experience were selected as respondents through purposive sampling. Data were collected using a Likert-scale questionnaire and analyzed descriptively. The results indicate that comfort in expressing opinions (61.1%) and willingness to listen (72.2%) are key indicators of effective communication. Nevertheless, 69.4% of respondents reported experiencing conflicts, mostly due to misunderstandings and ineffective communication (77.8%). Open communication, group discussions, and the active role of group leaders were found to significantly facilitate conflict resolution. However, satisfaction with conflict resolution was relatively low, with only 55.6% expressing satisfaction, indicating a need to enhance interpersonal communication skills and leadership roles. This study recommends strengthening a culture of open, honest, and participatory communication as a key to fostering harmonious and productive student group dynamics.

Abstract

This study aims to analyse the integrity of financial reports in government companies in Indonesia. The independent variables examined in this research include independent commissioners, intellectual capital, audit committees, and audit tenure. The population comprises all of government companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the period 2021–2023. Using purposive sampling, 20 companies were selected, resulting in a total of 60 observations analysed through panel data regression. Data analysis was conducted using EViews 12. The results indicate that the presence of independent commissioners has a positive and significant impact on financial report integrity. In contrast, intellectual capital shows a negative and significant influence. Meanwhile, the audit committee and audit tenure variables do not have a significant effect. The findings of this study are expected to assist potential investors in evaluating the quality of financial reporting as part of their decision-making process.
