Abstract

This community service-based research aims to find out the application of customary law for immigrant communities in Sorong City, identify and find stakeholder efforts towards the application of customary law for immigrant communities in Sorong City. This service-based research was carried out in the city of Sorong, with the type of research assistance using the Participation Action Research (PAR) approach. The assisted object is the Bugis Tribe as one of the Migrant Tribes. The Bugis tribe is one of the tribes in Sorong City which is often the perpetrators and victims of OAP. Owned Resources are KKM Bone Management and the Bone Community in Sorong City. The parties involved in this research were the Research Team, Head of Traditional Actors and Victims, Sorong City Religious Leaders, and Sorong City Community Leaders. The results of this devotion-based research show: First, the application of OAP customary law for immigrant communities in Sorong City is paying fines to victims of OAP in the form of money agreed upon by the traditional leaders of both parties and facilitated and witnessed by the Police. Pay the fine as a form of restriction, protection and self-esteem for OAP. Second, the efforts of stakeholders towards the application of customary law for immigrant communities in Sorong City are carrying out socialization activities for Papuan customary law, workshops on Papuan customary law, and prevention activities.

Abstract

This article discusses the use of voting rights for State Civil Apparatus Employees in Elections and Elections. The 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia and Law Number 39 of 1999 concerning Human Rights have guaranteed the political right of citizens to vote and be elected, which is essentially the right of every citizen. The findings from the results of this study show that Law Number 20 of 2023 concerning the State Civil Apparatus, in which an action plan has been designed by building clean, effective, democratic, and reliable governance. To make it happen, ASN is needed as the main bureaucratic engine that is professional, neutral and free from political intervention, corruption and practices, collusion, nepotism, and carries out its role as the glue of national unity and unity based on Pancasila and the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia.

Abstract

AbstrakTulisan dengan judul “Perlindungan Hukum dan Pemenuhan Hak Masyarakat Hukum Adat Lingkar Tambang” ini mengangkat permasalahan tentang perlindungan hukum terhadap masyarakat hukum adat dan pemenuhan haknya, terutama bagi masyarakat adat yang hak ulayatnya telah dieksploitasi sumber daya alamnya. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah yuridis normatif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa secara normatif terdapat sejumlah regulasi yang mengatur tentang Pengakuan dan pemenuhan masyarakat hukum adat. Namun secara empiris belum terealisasi sebagaimana mestinya, belum adanya korelasi antara das sollen dan das sein. Hasil dari penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan masukan bagi pemerintah, terutama pemerintah daearah yang di daerahnya terdapat entitas masyarakat hukum adat. Secara praktis penulisan ini juga diharapkan dapat memberikan masukan dan dijadikan sebagai bahan evaluasi bagi pemerintah terutama bagi pihak perusahaan yang melakukan eksploitasi sumber daya alam, terutama di wilayah masyarakat hukum adat. Kata kunci: Perlindungan Hukum, Pemenuhan Hak, Masyarakat Hukum Adat.AbstractThe article entitled "Legal Protection and Fulfillment of the Rights of Indigenous People in the Mining Circle" this article raises the issue of legal protection for indigenous peoples and the fulfillment of their rights, especially for indigenous peoples whose customary rights have been exploited for natural resources. The method used in this research is normative juridical. The results of this study indicate that normatively there are a number of regulations governing the recognition and fulfillment of indigenous peoples. However, empirically it has not been realized as it should be, there is no correlation between das sollen and das sein. The results of this study are expected to provide input for the government, especially regional governments where there are customary law community entities. Practically, this writing is also expected to provide input and serve as evaluation material for the government, especially for companies that exploit natural resources, especially in areas of customary law communities.

Abstract

The implementation of the pilgrimage has an important role for all Muslims around the world. Hajj completes the other 4 worships in the pillars of Islam. The implementation of the pilgrimage requires knowledge, guidance and direction from people who are experienced in the field of Hajj. The implementation of the pilgrimage carried out by the Ministry of Religion of the Republic of Indonesia can be an additional reference for prospective Hajj participants. The results of the study show that the implementation of the pilgrimage carried out by the Ministry of Religion of Sorong Regency is in accordance with the mandate of Law No. 8 of 2019 plus regulations from the Minister of Religion and also based on Islamic Shari'a guided by the Qur'an and the Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad SAW. Increase knowledge to prospective pilgrims about the implementation of the pilgrimage and other knowledge and insights. Together with the Ministry of Religion, Sorong Regency, the success of the Hajj pilgrimage in Sorong Regency.

Abstract

A career woman is an individual who actively participates in the workforce, fulfilling professional roles while managing family responsibilities. The career woman phenomenon has evolved in line with social and economic changes that have opened up more job opportunities for women. Women's primary motivations for pursuing a career include achieving financial independence, self-development, and fulfilling professional ambitions. Support from partners, family, and flexible workplace policies can play a significant role in helping career women achieve a balance between their professional and personal lives.This research employed a qualitative approach. The sample population was career women in Malawili Village. Data collection methods used observation, interviews, documentation, and data analysis, including data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results of this study indicate that a wife's responsibilities as a career woman often face unique challenges, including time management, the pressure to balance dual roles as worker and caregiver, and confronting gender norms and stereotypes. The Sakinah family is a family concept in Islam that describes a harmonious, peaceful, and prosperous household.
