Abstract

This community service-based research aims to find out the application of customary law for immigrant communities in Sorong City, identify and find stakeholder efforts towards the application of customary law for immigrant communities in Sorong City. This service-based research was carried out in the city of Sorong, with the type of research assistance using the Participation Action Research (PAR) approach. The assisted object is the Bugis Tribe as one of the Migrant Tribes. The Bugis tribe is one of the tribes in Sorong City which is often the perpetrators and victims of OAP. Owned Resources are KKM Bone Management and the Bone Community in Sorong City. The parties involved in this research were the Research Team, Head of Traditional Actors and Victims, Sorong City Religious Leaders, and Sorong City Community Leaders. The results of this devotion-based research show: First, the application of OAP customary law for immigrant communities in Sorong City is paying fines to victims of OAP in the form of money agreed upon by the traditional leaders of both parties and facilitated and witnessed by the Police. Pay the fine as a form of restriction, protection and self-esteem for OAP. Second, the efforts of stakeholders towards the application of customary law for immigrant communities in Sorong City are carrying out socialization activities for Papuan customary law, workshops on Papuan customary law, and prevention activities.

Abstract

Honesty is one of the basic forms in forming a person's character, whether from the family, school or community environment. However, as time goes by, the value of honesty begins to erode. Corruption, cheating, plagiarism are forms of erosion of the value of honesty. This article will discuss the value of honesty by referring to the Bukhari Hadith. This writing uses the ma'anil hadith method and understanding the meaning. The result of this writing is that Bukhari's hadith about honesty is a valid hadith, both in terms of sanad, rawi and matan. Understanding ma'na using a linguistic approach has also explained the essence of ma'na contained in the hadith. The results of the implementation of this hadith show that the value of honesty in character education is formed from habits. Therefore, always speaking and being honest will lead to social harmony and order. Meanwhile, the habit of lying will lead to social conflict, both in real life and in cyberspace.

Abstract

Education has an important role in shaping individual character and personality, where social environments such as friends, parents, and educators make significant contributions. This study aims to analyse the influence of the social environment on student education based on the hadith perspective. The method used is literature study, by collecting data from various relevant literatures. The results showed that positive interactions in the social environment can increase students' learning motivation and academic achievement. Peers serve as encouraging support, while parents and educators serve as mentors who shape moral and ethical values. The study concludes that collaboration between parents, educators and peers is essential to create an educational ecosystem that not only focuses on academic achievement, but also on developing students' character. By integrating islamic values into education, it is expected that the resulting generation will not only be intellectually smart, but also rich in morals and ethics. This research provides new insights into the importance of a holistic approach in education to address the challenges students face.

Abstract

This study discusses the implementation of the Honesty Canteen at SMA Negeri 3 Kota Sorong as a character education strategy to instill values of integrity, honesty, and responsibility among students. The background of the research lies in the low level of honesty in educational environments, which impacts the moral formation of the younger generation. The aim of this research is to describe how the honesty canteen program at the school helps shape students with integrity and to identify the challenges encountered in its implementation. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method with a field research approach, involving in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation, analyzed thematically. The results show that the Honesty Canteen, operated without direct supervision or attendants, serves as an effective medium for training student honesty in daily practical situations. However, challenges such as dishonest behavior and financial losses still frequently occur. The school has undertaken several efforts, including reducing product variety, providing regular counseling, and subsidizing funds to sustain the program. This research provides an important contribution to understanding that fostering honest character requires continuous support from all school elements and family education, and when implemented consistently, it can positively impact the development of students into individuals with strong integrity.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi minat belajar siswa kelas XI pada mata pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam di SMA Negeri 2 Kabupaten Sorong. Minat belajar yang rendah menjadi permasalahan utama yang ditemukan melalui observasi dan wawancara, ditandai dengan kurangnya partisipasi aktif dan semangat belajar siswa. Faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi minat belajar terbagi menjadi dua kategori utama, yaitu faktor internal yang meliputi kondisi fisik dan psikologis siswa, serta faktor eksternal yang berasal dari lingkungan keluarga, sekolah, dan sosial. Metode pembelajaran yang monoton dan kurangnya variasi dalam pengajaran juga menjadi penyebab menurunnya minat belajar. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menegaskan peran penting guru, keluarga, dan lingkungan sekolah dalam meningkatkan minat belajar siswa. Rekomendasi disampaikan untuk memperbaiki metode pengajaran dan menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang lebih kondusif guna meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan Pendidikan Agama Islam di sekolah tersebut.

Abstract

This study aims to highlights the concept of an Islamic educational environment as reflected in the hadith  of the Prophet Muhammad SAW on learning together (ta’allum jama’i), as narrated by Imam Muslim. The values contained in these hadith, such as angelic protection, abundant mercy, inner peace (sakinah), and glory in the sight of Allah, are  key indicators learning climate. This study uses  a qualitative approach through library research by examining various scientific sources, hadith books, and relevant Islamic educational literature. The results of the study show that applying the principles of hadith in an educational environment can create a collaborative, loving, and worship oriented learning atmosphere. Such an environment plays a role in fostering student’s character to be noble, disciplined, and highly spiritually aware. In addition, the hadith also provides practical guidance for educators in creating a conducive and calming learning atmosphere, as well as protecting students from the negative influences of globalization and moral hadith values in the management of the islamic educational environment not only strengthens the scientific dimension but  also fostered a balance between reason, heart, and faith as the main foundation of education oriented towards the formation of perfect individuals, namely individuals who are knowledgeable, faithful, and noble, who are able to face global challenges based on strong Islamic values.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menelaah fungsi dan tujuan pendidikan Islam dengan fokus pada karakter rasa ingin tahu berdasarkan perspektif HR. Muslim No. 4632. Metode dalam penelitian ini menggunakan kualitatif deskriptif melalui studi literatur dengan menelaah jurnal, buku, dan sumber relevan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa fungsi pendidikan Islam meliputi pembentukan akhlak mulia, pengembangan rasa ingin tahu, penguatan hati nurani, dan pengembangan potensi peserta didik secara menyeluruh. HR. Muslim No. 4632 menegaskan bahwa kebaikan (al-birru) adalah akhlak terpuji, sedangkan dosa (al-itsmu) adalah segala sesuatu yang menimbulkan keraguan di hati. Nilai ini menjadi pedoman untuk membangun karakter rasa ingin tahu yang berlandaskan moralitas dan kehati-hatian. Proses pendidikan yang meliputi tahapan takhalli–tahalli–tajalli memberikan peluang bagi siswa dalam menginternalisasi nilai-nilai kebaikan, sementara guru berperan penting sebagai teladan moral dalam menumbuhkan rasa ingin tahu. Pendidikan Islam yang ideal harus mengintegrasikan pengetahuan, akhlak, spiritualitas, dan nilai sosial untuk membentuk generasi yang beriman, berakhlak mulia, kritis, serta bermanfaat bagi individu maupun masyarakat. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan peningkatan peran guru, lembaga pendidikan, keluarga, serta penguatan kurikulum berbasis hadis guna mengembangkan karakter dan rasa ingin tahu peserta didik secara berkelanjutan.
